• Virtually all basic science courses in the curriculum are taught with optometry and dentistry together

• This covers a range of fundamental disciplines, including:– Anatomy, Physiology

– Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology

– Microbiology, Pathology and Pharmacology

• And a series of Systems-based courses:– Neuroscience

• Offered a newly developed course to Professional Program students– It is an interdisciplinary, primarily online,

course involving health professions (Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry, Nursing, Public Health etc) and some non-health professional schools (e.g. Engineering, Business, undergraduate).
