Data analysis and modelling and the preliminary wind study performed by MEGAJOULE II - Consultoria em Energias Renovaveis SA (Portugal), based on the data from the existing 3 met masts covering an area of 25 km radius. In order to obtain a better characterization of wind resource and to reduce the inter-annual variability, a correlation with two auxiliary station with enough data period was performed. The Measure-Correlate-Predict (MCP) methodology was applied between the MJ084 – Babadag 1 in situ measurement station, two near masts with enough measurement period, MJ030 – Agighiol, located at about 15 km to Northeast, and MJ017 – Acic Suhat, located at about 25 km to Southeast. The Riga-Declaration - Realising the full potential of innovation voucher programs The Riga Declaration proposes general guidelines for the design of Innovation Voucher Programs by Member States and regions in order to fully realise the potential of these micro-grant schemes for SMEs’ diverse innovation activities. It encourages the EC to develop a voluntary collaboration framework, knowledge brokerage system that facilities access to excellent innovation support across Europe. The Riga declaration is the outcome of cooperation between the Europe INNOVA platform and managers of innovation voucher programs in the Member States and regions.

Most Europe INNOVA projects that are currently using vouchers to develop and test new services, participated in the meeting and discussed possibilities for further cooperation with managers of national and regional voucher programmes. Sustainable innovation : a new age of innovation and Finland's innovation policy Motorcycle safety and emission performance: European Commission proposes substantial improvements The European Commission has proposed the mandatory fitting of advanced braking systems on new motorcycles and automatic headlamp-on switching for all L-category vehicles. This category covers a wide range of vehicles such as two- or three-wheel powered cycles, mopeds, motorcycles with and without a side-car, tricycles, on-road quads and mini-cars. The proposal sets also ambitious emission requirements for these vehicles.
