Dear Students,
Summer vacation is a much-awaited holiday for the students for their enjoyment
and all round development. For a good and laborious student, this is the time to
relax, enjoy, travel, and visit relatives, parks, shopping complexes and religious
places. To be a well-developed student, one should help oneself in preparing
meals, tidying of rooms, and watering plants. With a view to inculcate a habit
for regular study, holiday homework is given to the students. This assignment
will help making up the intellectual, physical and mental aptitude and ability of
students.
HAVE A JOYFUL TIME. HAPPY HOLIDAYS. INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All the work should be done neatly.
2. Charts should be bright and colourful with bold headings and borders
around.
3. While doing activities collect pictures from old books, magazines,
newspapers or internet.
4. Due importance should be given to Holiday Homework as well as activities
as they will be graded.

1. Read lots of books, magazines, newspapers and watch only educational
programmes on television.
2. Do one page writing for ten days in a separate thin book.

You must read a newspaper daily. It will broaden your outlook and develop

words from the Newspaper you have read. Prepare the journal using A4
coloured sheets. Then, write each new word in it and draw or paste a
picture of it. Also write one synonym and antonym (if any) against it.
You can take the help of thesaurus for this.
