WMT EXPERT-265

The WMT Expert-265 bundles up to 8 mobile network channels

(LTE, HSPA+, HSUPA,HSDPA and UMTS) of one or multiple opera-

tors into a single broadband channel to provide sufficient

upload capacity for video and other high volume data. In

addition it is also possible to add Wi-Fi and Ethernet connec-

tions to maximize the upload capacity. This makes a total of 10

bonded connections on a single WMT.

The WMT Expert-265 is able to handle high bitrate settings of up

to 25 Mbps. Using the now available higher connection speeds

over LAN, 4G or Ka-Sat, the Expert-265 can send even higher

quality video.

When a fixed delay of 2, 5 or 10 seconds is selected this will

remain the end-to-end delay during the complete broadcast.

This is what we consider ‘fixed delay time’. IFB or return audio is

also available at less than a second delay.

WMT AGILE 2.0 R

The new Agile 2.0 is even smaller and lighter than its prede-

cessors. It is small enough to fit between a camera body and a

battery pack. Yet it still offers up to 8 x 4G modems, a LAN

connection, Satellite/- Ka-Sat/BGAN support and 32GB of

removable storage for recording video locally. It has a slick new

design and is available in the colours black, red or orange. It

comes in either camera mount or stand alone configuration and

both of them fit in a designed backpack with space for anten-

na’s and extra batteries.

The Agile 2.0 R is following client demands for smaller, lighter

encoders built for harsh environments. The system is small

enough to fit between camera body and battery pack, or can be

carried in a small backpack. Its aluminum design makes it

extremely sturdy and will survive drops of more than 2 meters

without problems.

SL-25

The SL-25 encoder is a 19 inch 1U high system with two

Ethernet connections. One for management purposes and one

for connection with the public internet. The system supports

both DHCP and fixed IP number configuration via the front LCD

panel.

IP ENCODER

SL-45

The SL-45 encoder is a 19 inch 2U high system with two bonded

Ethernet connections which can be expanded with eight 3G/4G

modems. The SL-45 is the ideal back up solution for SNG trucks,

but also enables any video vehicle with a bonded wireless

uplink.

8 MODEMS

The management interface is WEB based and makes it possible

to configure maximum bitrate, video resolution and delay. Also

the IP configuration can be done via the WEB interface. The

solution can be delivered point to point or via a backend server.

The basic backend Server can handle 2 SL-25 encoders and 2

playout systems and store up to 25 hours of D1 video.

MANAGEMENT INTERFACE

The system supports both DHCP and fixed IP number configura-

tion and has a separate LCD touch screen for management and

configuration. The system can also be managed via the WEB

using the Videomanager portal panel and makes it possible to

configure maximum bitrate, video resolution and delay.

The solution can be delivered point to point or via a backend server. The backend server is available in two configurations. The basic

backend server can handle 2 SL-45 encoders and 2 playout systems and store up to 25 hours of D1 video (depending on the hardware

version). The premium backend server can handle 20 SL-45 encoders and 20 playout systems and store up to 100 hours of D1 video

(depending on the hardware version).

WMT AUDIOREPORT

With the WMT Audio Report, Mobile Viewpoint introduces a

professional audio device for live radio reporting. With two

balanced line and microphone inputs and 4 bonded LTE

modems the WMT AR is the best you can get for low delay audio

reports using bonded 3G/4G connections. The WMT AR is a

combination of a high quality audio amplifier and proven WMT

bonding technology. At the receiving end the WMT playout will

return the audio channel back into analogue balanced audio.

This is the same playout used for all other WMT devices. The

playout also provides a talk back channel (IFB) with individual

volume control.

SATELLITE SOLUTION

The WMT™ Tooway option facilitates the bonding of satellite IP

links and 3G/4G mobile network links. Due to this unique

combination it is possible to shoot live content and start

moving without any interruptions. The bonding technology of

the system will use the mobile network links when the satellite

link drops. It is also possible to use the Tooway satellite link as a

back-up when using 3G/4G.

BONDING SATELLITE IP & MOBILE NE T WORKS

The WMT™ Tooway can bundle up to 8 mobile network channels

(LTE, HSPA+, HSUPA, HSDPA and UMTS) and a Tooway satellite IP

link into a single broadband channel providing sufficient

upload capacity for video and other high volume data. With

Tooway enabled, bandwidth can be fixed anywhere between 1

and 4 Mbit depending on subscription. Due to the WMT's

unique error resilience algorithms, packet loss or data corrup-

tion will be repaired and ensures 100% video quality without

interruptions.

The video is encoded with our own H264 codec, which will

automatically determine the available bandwidth and continu-

WMT LITE

The MVP iPhone/Android client is part of the WMT portfo- lio

using the same receiver hardware. The MVP iPhone/Android

client uses similar algorithms as the WMT to ensure the highest

quality video although using one connection.

THE LIVE APP

The MVP Live App grabs the video from the iPhone/Android

back or front camera and encodes the video with H.264 and

audio with AAC. Based on the available bandwidth the encod-

ing is adapted to ensures transmission of the best possible

video quality with the shortest possible fixed delay time. The

transmission is decoded by the WMT server and played back by

the WMT playout via SDI or analogue outputs.

HANDHELD VIDEO E VERY WHERE

In collaboration with United, one of the largest Dutch facility

providers and part of the Euromedia Group, Mobile Viewpoint

has developed a new addition to the range of WMT products,

the Agile-Store and Forward. The Agile-SF enables the wireless

workflow between camera and post production.

The Agile-SF bonds multiple IP connections (3G/4G, WiFi and

Ethernet) that immediately after every take uploads a low res

version of the video to a post-production environment. It stores

the high res version of the video, enabling post production to

only download the parts which are selected for the final edit.

The core of the Agile-SF is the adaptive video encoding

technology of Mobile Viewpoint, which adjust the upload of

data according to the available bandwidth so that no data is

ever lost. The Agile-SF is available October 2015 and is

showcased at our stand at IBC 2015.The MVP Live App is available on Android and iOS.

HLE-1 ENCODER

The HLE-1 is an encoder for HTTP Live streaming (HLS 1.1). The

HLE-1 will encode a multi rate stream ranging from a few kbit up

till several Mbit. The encoder has SDI or HDMI input and enables

the adaptive distribution of WMT or any other source to

different devices including Android, Apple and Windows.

The Mobile Viewpoint HLE-1 encoder accepts both HD SDI

video, as well as RTSP IP streams coming from Mobile Viewpoint

WMT encoders. It transcodes them to HLS web streams, which

can be distributed by Content Delivery Networks, already in use

by customers. On top of this, the Mobile Viewpoint HLE-1

encoder integrates fully with the drag ‘n drop WMT Videoman-

ager, giving users full flexibility in choosing which encoder gets

sent to the HLE-1 encoder and HD SDI Playout devices.

To stream live feeds in W-Link we have

developed a high quality - low cost

bonded IP transmitter. The transmitter

can be sourced for a base price. When the

transmitter is used, a fee will be charged

for the amount of connections made

through the MCR. This overcomes capex

and opex costs when there are no

revenues. The W-Link charges will be

invoiced on a monthly basis keeping

administration to a minimum.
