Raiders for ReliefIn response to the mul ple natural disasters impac ng many around the world, students and faculty at ‘Iolani School have created a “Raiders for Relief” disaster response.

In Lower School and Upper School chapels, students will hear stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to help others in need, consider what it means to be the “light of the world” (Ma hew 5:14), and reflect on how we are to live into our alma mater’s call: Love Stands Supreme. Lower School students will hear from chaplains, with prayers led by students, and Upper School chapels will be led by student leaders of ‘Iolani’s Peace Ins tute.

Collec ons:Lower School students will par cipate in a coin collec on drive during Homecoming Week from Monday, September 18th through Friday, September 22nd. Students are encouraged to bring in loose change from home and donate their coins outside the Lower School Main Office before homeroom in a specially designated container.

Upper School students are invited to bring their dona on to homeroom on Friday, September 29th. All dona ons will go to United Na ons Interna onal Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), which has relief efforts on the ground currently in all of the affected areas. Advisory students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade will also write notes of gra tude to first responders in homeroom during the week of September 25.
