With support and encouragement we have got from our past participants, the congress of Industrial Biotechnology has grown substantiallysince 2008, from a brand new conference with a strong vision, to the ibio of today, firmly established as the premier internationalforum for research in all areas of industrial biotechnology. Ibio-2010 is a specially designed conference, which covers a wide rangeof critically important themes from basic science to commercialization. Past Event Report

ibio-2008During May 18-21, 2008, BIT 1st World Congress of ibio-2008, A focused Event for Industry Biotechnology was held successfullyin Hangzhou, China. Totally, there were nearly 400 participants from more than 30 countries and regions have attended theibio-2008. The conference has promoted the communication of colleagues and collaboration of partners from the upstream tothe downstream of industrial biotechnology.

ibio-2009The 2nd World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology-2009 was successfully held in COEX Convention & Exhibition Center,Seoul, South Korea during 05-07 April 2009, with a theme of "Innovative Biotechnology for Sustainable Bio-economy". Therewere in excess of 300 registrants from 40 countries joined ibio-2009. During the conference, a Special Forum: BIT's 6th LifeSpring Forum to celebrate Prof. Arnold L. Demain's 60 years' Science was presented as well.
