Ready for new World Championships in Planica after ten years?

Yearly sports festival will be truly special this time around. The flying hill will host battles for World Champi-onships medals.

In four days the valley under the Ponce mountains will be visited by tens of thousands of ski flying fans from all over the world. Together we’ll loudly cheer for athletes, fearless eagles, and watch their breath taking flights.

We can expect an intense battle for medals – a lifetime goal of every athlete – first in the two-day indi-vidual and then in team competition.

REGISTRATIONPlease send preliminary entry lists by October 15th and final entry lists by November 15th, 2020.Registration has to be done via the FIS Online System.

PARTICIPATIONThe number of participants at all World Championships competitions is defined according to the FIS rules.

INSURANCEAll athletes have to be insured through their national ski federations.The organizer is not responsible for any personal injures or damage to property that might occur. All participants must have an adequate insurance coverage against accidents, illness and civil liability.

COVID - 19 PROTOCOLAccording to FIS World Cup Risk Management Covid - 19 Protocol, detailed information will follow prior to your arrival.

Organization

DOPING CONTROLDoping control might occur during the event. Doping control may be carried out at any FIS competition according to FIS Anti-Doping Rules.

COMPETITION RULESThe competitions will be held in compliance with FIS Competition rules.

TRANSPORT SERVICEFree transport service is offered during your stay in Planica, including pick-up and delivery service at the airport (please enter your travelling data into the accomodation form).

ACCOMODATIONThe Organizers´payment of costs for the athletes will be according to FIS Rules. In case of less competitors and officials than entered, no-show has to be paid.

Please register by October 15th, 2020.

PRIZEMONEYThe prize money is paid out according to FIS rules and is subject to the athletes participation at official FIS events. The winners press conferences, medal ceremonies and the opening ceremony are official FIS events. The organizing committee expressly reserves the right to reduce the amount of the prize money in case an athlete fails to fulfill these obligations.
