The Mindanao TVET Association, the largest TVET Association in Mindanao, Philippines' will be holding the 12'Human Resourre and Skills Development QIRSD) on OCTOBER 9, l0 & 11' 2013, AT TIIE GRAND MEN SENG, MAGALLALES STREET, DAVAO CITY. This activity is jointly organized with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region XI, and the Region Xl TVET Association, with the cooperation of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Departrnent of Trade and Industry (DTl). Highlighting this significant event is a focus on the theme 'TESD: Sustaking the Gains of Peace and Development ia Mindanao" with discussion sessions on various issues and concems affecting the technical-vocational education and training sector of Mindanao. This year's HRSD Conference is expected to be attended by around 300 delegates comprising ofpublic and private TVET lnstitution Presidents, School Administrators, Department Heads and faculty staff, Industry partners and practitioners, TESDA Officials coming fiom the six (6) Administrative Regions of Mindanao, and some foreign delegates- We have invited our TESDA Director General, Sec. Emmanuel Joel J. Villanuevq to be our Keynote Speaker as well as other guests and resource speakers. As a significant member of the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, we would like to invite the involvement of TESDA Region IX to this conference through your personal attendancdparticipation together with other officials / personnel, Training Center Chiefs, TESDA Technical Institutions and Private Technical Vocational Institutions.
