The ISSF organizes the sixteenth "C" Course for the ISSF coaches license class "C" andherewith cordially invites the ISSF member federations to nominate their coaches for the

Sixteenth "C" Course for the ISSF Coaches License "C"

which will be held in Kuortane, Finland from 29th October 5th November 2012.

Language

The working language of all ISSF coaches courses is English. Participants are expected tohave a working knowledge of the English language appropriate to the level of the course beingattended. Poor knowledge of the English language may jeopardize participants chances ofsuccessfully completing the various courses and will inevitably compromise their ability togain fully from participation.

Homework

To acquire the ISSF coaches license "C", each participant in the sixteenth "C" Course will be

expected to submit a written homework assignment (latest by Sunday,9th

September 2012)on a topic pertaining to his/her specific discipline. The basic requirements will be evaluatedbefore the start of the course with the use of this written homework.During the course, a colloquium may take place in the form of a lecture (45 minutes) based onthe homework, followed by a discussion.

ExaminationSatisfactory comprehension of the contents of the course will be evaluated through a writtenexamination and, if necessary, an oral examination. Passing all parts of the evaluation(homework, written test/oral test) is necessary in order to be awarded the ISSF coaches licenseClass "C".

Travel

The closest airport to Kuortane is Seinjoki (SJY). There are several flights per day offeredfrom Helsinki, Finland and from Stockholm, Sweden to Seinjoki. Alternatively, the nearestinternational airport is Vaasa International Airport (about 2 hours driving from Kuortane).

Arrival & departure

Arrival should be planned for October 29th and departure for November 5th, 2012. On theseofficial arrival and departure days, transportation will be organized from/to Seinjoki Airportand Vaasa Airport to/from the Kuortane Sports Institute. Please note: Local transportationrequired on days other than the official arrival and departure days, will have to be arranged

and paid for by the participants themselves.

Registration

We kindly ask all our member federations to register their participants for this sixteenth "C"Course in Kuortane via the TA online entry system as soon as possible, but

not later than Tuesday, 1st

May 2012.

The TA online entry system can be accessed under http://academy.issf-sports.info. All ISSFMember Federations can access this entry system by using the standard ISSF login details,

which are also used for entering shooters during competitions. For more information pleasesee the enclosed guidelines.

The ISSF will select a maximum of 15 participants per discipline (rifle, pistol, shotgun) forthis course and a maximum of two (2) participants per federation will be allowed initially. TheISSF will send out confirmations to each registered participant including his/her topic ofhomework by Friday, June 15th 2012.

Costs

The total costs for this "C" Course in Kuortane amount to 1,250.00 Euro which will cover

accommodation and full board as well as all course papers and documents and localtransportation between the airport and the institute. The standard course fee includes doubleroom accommodation. Single room accommodation can be requested but is subject toavailability and involves an extra charge to be paid directly to the Kuortane Sports Institute.

Please note that applicants not meeting the official payment deadline (Monday, 2nd July2012) cannot be considered for the course.

Cancelation

Cancelations after the registration deadline will have to be charged with 30% ( 375) of theregistration fee. In addition, all other cancelation fees (hotel, transportation) have to be

covered separately.
