1963 was the year that Ford made the Cortina.

This was a basic car, but Lola tuned it up so that it became famous.

In 1964 Ford Introduced the first Mustang, in three models. There was a convertible, a hard top sports car, and a hard top. It was an extremely big hit in America. It was also cheap to make, so it was extremely helpful to ford’s business.

In 1964 Henry Ford junior, was very big into his racing. He was trying to buy over Enzo Ferrari as a gate to race success. Enzo played along but dropped out of negotiations. Ford was annoyed so he set out to make his own racecar. With the help of Lola’s bodywork, he made the Ford GT40. He won many of the races against ferrari for 4 years. It was called the gt40 because it was 40 inches tall.

The Moving Assembly line

Henry Ford also invented the moving assembly line.

Originally the idea of the assembly line came from Vince Clark

Henry Ford took his concept and used machines to do what workers used to

The moving assembly line had a huge impact on workers, many were fired from there jobs.

This also speed up the production of the model T from twelve hours to ninety-three minutes

She died of cancer in May in 1943

Henry Ford was suppose to became president of Ford Motors Company

But he was 80 at the time and mentally unfit

Henry Ford died in 1947 at the age of 84

Two years before he died he retired and gave the position of president of Ford Motors to his grandson,
