Ground rules when meeting virtually

• Always use a headset or telephone (do NOT use speakerphone)

• Work from a quiet place

• Login at least 10 minutes before the session starts

• Work from your own computer, do not share a workstation with another participant

Getting ready for the Virtual Classroom

• This manual explains the basic functions of WebEx, the platform used for Nomadic IBP’s virtual training sessions. You can print this manual and make notes as you view the Introduction to the Virtual Classroom video: Video

• Please note that the design of WebEx in this instruction video is slightly different from the screenshots in this manual.

Joining the WebEx sessionWebEx can take between 20 seconds and 1 minute to start up. You are successfully logged in when the following screen appears:

Joining the audio conference

Now you need to connect to the audio conference, there are two ways to do this:

1. Dialing in by phone

or

2. Using a computer headset

Click on the dropdown menu to select I will call in:

Always enter Attendee ID!
