Sister S had an ancestor whom she knew had been born on the Isle of
Mann. MyHeritage.com brought up a possible match in Montana marriages.
Sister S now has the names of her ancestors husband and his parents.
Another ancestor was listed as being
born in “The East Indies” about 1852.
Sister S learned that the East Indies
can include all the islands Indonesia,
Southeast Asia, and India.
MyHeritage.com brought up a birth
record in India for this ancestor.
Note that this record only scored one out of five stars, but it’s a fascinating
story that includes Sister S’s ancestor. The next page is a copy of the actual
newspaper article.
