Union Territories, out of which is Andhra Pradesh, capital of this state is Hyderabad

• Hyderabad, the fifth largest metropolis of India, is the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, known for its rich history and culture with monuments, mosques, temples, a rich and varied heritage in arts, crafts and dance.

Culture of Hyderabad• Hyderabad is the meeting ground between North and South India. The city has a

culture that is distinct from the rest of Andhra Pradesh, showing Islamic influences and a courtly presence imparted from its period as the capital of the Nizamate. This is more evident in the old city. The new city resembles many provincial state capitals in India. Secunderabad is more cosmopolitan, as the Cantonment area is located in this part of the city.

• Distinct linguistic and cultural traditions of North and South India meet and mingle in Hyderabad, and the combination of Hindu and Muslim traditions is notable in the city.[128] Telugu and Urdu are the most commonly spoken languages among the residents

• Due to a recent influx of young men and women from various parts of the country, Hyderabad's culture and attitudes have taken a turn towards "modernity". However, it is good to keep in mind that the city is still a deeply conservative place.

• Hyderabad food is very yummy... yummy... you will never forget the taste of Hyderabadi dishes. Not only in India but Hyderabad food is very popular all over the world for delicious and mouthwatering dishes.

• To think of Hyderabad is to recall its rich and incomparable cuisine, its wealth of architecture, its refined traditions of gracious hospitality and an exquisitely cultured way of life.

• Hyderabad is a heaven for "Food Lovers".• There is nothing to beat Hyderabad delicacies.

Places to shop in Hyderabad• Abids, Basheer Bagh, Nampally, Begum Bazar, Laad Bazar and MG Road are main

shopping areas in Hyderabad city. These places feature some of the best stores and showrooms in the city. 

• The pearls and jewellery for which the place has been notorious over years can be purchased from Laad Bazar. At Laad Bazar are present a lot of shops that sell the mentioned products and more including semi precious stones, glass beads and colorful bangles.

• Shilparamam, an arts and craft village presents exquisite pieces and objects. The traditional handlooms, textiles, carpets can be had from this place and that too for genuine prices. Some other related items merchandised in the city include brass ware, Nirmal paintings, Kondapalli toys and Bidri ware. Bidri is an ancient art and in modern times can be found in forms like vases, ashtrays, ornaments, nameplates etc

Climate of Hyderabad

• Hyderabad is fairly warm all throughout the year except for the winter season which is pleasant. The best time for visiting the place is fromOctober to March. Summer (March to May) is severely hot especially April and May months, with temperature is always above 30°C and soaring as high as 45°C

• Winter(November to February) is pleasant with temperature running between 32°C to 14°C.

• Monsoon (June to September) offers medium to heavy rains and may be associated with heavy winds.

• Summer days are extremely hot and this makes it uncomfortable and difficult to travel and getting indulge in tourists activities. From the months of October to March is the best time for roaming around the big city. Monsoons days are accompanied by rains and humidity, which may not be a good time for traveling and sightseeing.

Mode of Transport in Hyderabad

• The yellow colored Auto Rickshaw usually referred to as an "auto", is the most widely used taxi in Hyderabad. They can be found in any part of the city and at anytime of the day. Taximeters are compulsory for all taxis in Hyderabad and this applies for autos too.

• Recently other automobiles like cars and SUVs have been introduced as taxi. Radio Taxis provide a luxury travel in the city. Some of the known service providers are
