In t%is met%od o( modulation, t%e am'litude o( t%e carrier $a#e is
maintained constant An im'ortant (eature o( an!le modulation is t%at it can 'ro#ide &etter
discrimination a!ainst noise and inter(erence t%an am'litudemodulation"
*o$e#er, t%is im'ro#ement in 'er(ormance is ac%ie#ed at t%e
