Many universities have set-up policies applied to both staff and students to
forbid smoking, alcohol drinking, non-helmet motorcycle driving and/or
gambling within the institutions . Promotion of exercises and green
environment in universities are also commonly observed.
• AUN-HPN is planning to promote the concept of healthy university in
ASEAN.
• The activity will begin with the development of health university
framework. A workshop will be organized on 29-30 August 2016 to invite
experts from member universities to develop the frame work which will be
the standard for universities in ASEAN. An invitation will be sent out soon.
• Request to coordinate with relevant faculties to participate the meeting.
