LEGO Batman Basics

The gameplay comprises essentially two main components: smashing and building. With that said, it should quickly become your life's goal to go on a destructive rampage and unleash your Kung Fu fury upon everything in the game—provided it can be destroyed in the first place. More likely than not, piles of twitching, bouncing LEGO pieces eagerly await to be assembled together in to some kind of prop that will allow you to progress through the game, or help attain that elusive LEGO canister.

So, remember: if it ain't broke, break it. Then, build it.

The dichotomy in this game provides an opportunity for the Batman enthusiast to view the story from both sides, either from the heroes point of view (Batman and the ever-lovable side, Robin) or the three primary villains (along with their hodgepodge crew of equally familiar criminal masterminds). You will be able to switch to and from heroes and villains soon after you beat the first couple hero levels.

Batcave Here, in their base of operations, is where the caped dynamic duo monitor the increasing crime activity going on in Gotham. If there's a need, Batman and Robin will jump right to the scene in either the Batwing, the Batmobile or the Batboat. Each of these vehicles tie in to a specific story element pertaining to one of the three main villains. The Batmobile with the Riddler, the Batboat with the Penguin and the Batwing goes with the Joker.

You can also access the Batcomputer and scroll through a number of options as well as some game bonuses. If you have enough LEGO studs, you can purchase a number of new unlockables as they become available to you when you complete levels.

Arkham Asylum The residents are none other than the very people Batman and Robin helped jail. Finish at least one hero chapter to unlock the villains side of the missions. There's a lever in the Batcave, near the Batcomputer, that switches camera views to the Arkham Asylum, thus effectively allowing you to play through villain missions. Set up very similarly to the Batcave, you guide your toons to the garage and hop in one of the three vehicles to start up specific chapters.

Missions

Collectibles

Each level contains a total of ten items called LEGO canisters and one red power brick. Collect all ten in the level to be able to assemble a minikit model that can be viewed in the Hero Trophy Room. The real upside to this is that you also get a good chunk of studs (50,000) for completing a minikit model. Red power bricks, on the other hand, help put suit upgrades on the market for purchase.

Suits

Unique to the heroes only, each of the suits possesses special attributes or abilities that transfer to the wearer. Batman and Robin each have suits tailored especially for them so that one cannot fit in the other's suit. You can swap in and out of your suits via the suit changers. Suit upgrades tack on extra cool abilities to the existing suit, making them potentially more useful and fun to use. In order to get suit upgrades, you need to collect red power bricks and obtain them in exchange for studs.

Character Abilities

With a myriad of characters to play as and interchange, it's no surprise that most of the characters come with certain innate abilities that grant them privileges others can't have. As you unlock more characters, you must collaborate with them in free play in order to reach certain otherwise unattainable collectibles. The basic ability list: superstrength, double jump, plant growth, mind control, toxin immunity, gliding, etc. Some characters may possess more than one of these abilities at once.

FREE PLAY

Every time you beat a level, you gain the freedom to return to the level under "Free Play" mode, which basically entitles you to bring whoever and whatever you want into that level. This means you can bring villains into a normally all-hero mission if that's what it takes to overcome certain obstacles. Many of the collectibles will require a return to the level on Free Play, as the abilities of the available characters in Story mode—for the most part—will not suffice.

LEGO Batman Walkthrough

The LEGO Batman adventures have been written to properly document both the heroes' and the villains' side of the story mode. The locations of the LEGO canisters, red power bricks and hostages have been included in the walkthrough whenever necessary. For certain collectibles that require the abilities of additional characters and/or suits, we have created special boxed-in texts under "Free Play" to further build upon the details needed to acquire them.

Without further ado, the walkthrough to all 30 missions at your fingertips.

Time to rumble on the Gotham City streets! After beating up the hooligans, locate the lever in the corner of the adjacent alleyway and pull it. Behind the opened gate is a pile of disassembled LEGO pieces that, when put together, form a grappling platform. Zip to the top and pull the lever to help you get a LEGO canister. There are 10 in a level; gotta catch ‘em all—catch phrase too old? There's an additional canister if you take the ladder to a higher catwalk. Smash the first

telephone booth of five in the corner as well.

As well, a woman appears to be in quite distress, so lend a hand of justice by smashing through the window and freeing her from her captor.

The street further to the right has been covered with a toxic green sludge. In order to get by this peril, grappling hook to the catwalk above and cross the zipline. Once across, you encounter more mindless hooligans—although this time, mindless hooligans with guns, but they should be of little concern to the dark knight! Quickly assemble a zipline piece by piece and dart across to grab the powerful Demolition Suit.

The Demolition Suit grants you the ability to plant bombs that can be manually detonated or detonated on a timer. As an exercise of safety, be sure to distance yourself from the bomb when it goes off. The bombs will easily tear down most large objects in your way, such as the abandoned trucks further down the street. Not everything, however, will easily succumb to such a pretty explosion.

Set a bomb on the long truck clogging up the path.

FREE PLAY

The LEGO canister held safely behind a seemingly indestructible window can be retrieved with the Sonic Suit, which you won't have until later on in the game. Return here with the Sonic Suit and bust open the glass. A security panel here gives you access to the other LEGO canister on the right side of the building. Both of these LEGO canisters won't give themselves easily your first time through; come back during Free Play.

FREE PLAY

Have someone with super strength lift the dumpster covering the manhole and plant a bomb with the Demolition Suit to uncover a LEGO canister.

Again, you want to get rid of the big truck blocking your way here and hop over to the next area.

The main road leads to the bank entrance, a relatively high-security area.

FREE PLAY

Notice the set of dumpsters in the alleyway here; these can be removed with the aid of a character blessed with super strength. Once they are out of the way, grapple to the ledge above and follow the zipline to the opposite building. Burst through the windows with a deftly-planted bomb and collect the LEGO canister within.

FREE PLAY

Another LEGO canister can be obtained by harnessing the power of the Sonic Suit to smash the barrels and assemble the LEGOs. Then, use the Magnet Suit to scale the wall to the ledge above.

FREE PLAY

Two canisters here! Along the way, notice a rather heavy-looking metal container wedged into a niche in the wall. With the help of a powerful character, heave the container out of the way and head into a secret passageway that takes you to a LEGO canister. The road also leads downward to an underpass filled with the toxic sludge. It is here you will find a LEGO canister hidden amid the poison. Find a character who can withstand the toxicity of the green slime in Free Play. The LEGO canister is confined in one of the garages. Use Mind Control on the panel to open the red door and allow vehicle access into this area. Later on, grab both red cars from the upcoming area and drive them into the garages to obtain the canister.

A Robin suit changer rests in the center of the plaza. Luckily for us, it serves as an utterly useful suit in this situation. Grab the Technology Suit and head over to the glowing panel near the gate to summon a remote controlled car. Pilot this car into the small striped ramp that inserts you inside the bank. Hit all three red panels on the wall until they turn green to unlock the bank door. Proceed through the barred opening to find Clayface and his minions messing the place up!

Another Demolition Suit awaits around the corner, but before swapping suits do not neglect the last telephone booth the level's last LEGO canister. Pound Clayface enough times and he will retreat to the back of the bank, behind the safety of the bank's invulnerable metal gates. Wait until Clayface re-appears and hauls the bank vault out. Then, quickly plant a bomb near it to blow the detachable portion of the gate wide open. Place a bomb on the silver container on the wall to obtain a red power brick.

Clayface now stands triumphantly above a towering case. Observe that positioned behind him are three red security panels. Target the Batarang at Clayface himself and the three panels behind him to put an end to his mischief.

Rapidly put together the heaps of LEGOs lay strewn across the parking lot to create projectile cannons. Jump on the circle-shaped valve on each completed cannon to send the bad guys flying. Fix the incomplete ice cream truck, drive it over the metal object near the circular floor and then park it on the large circle in the center. Assemble the LEGO pieces to create a lever, which—when pulled—brings up a life-sized ice cream cone. Inside holds a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

While donning the Attract Suit, feed the Attracto machine near the back right corner of the area (before heading into the bank) with 25 LEGOs (accomplished by going on a destruction frenzy on everything in the area). Once the quota has been met, it spits out a LEGO canister.

Use the Batarang on the four yellow hinges holding the gate in place. Stack the LEGO pieces lying around to the left of the gate to form a suit changer for good ol' Robin! This new Magnet Suit allows Robin to clunk casually up vertical walls provided the material gives off the correct magnetism. Scale the magnetic ramp and pull the red lever until the red ice cream cone turns red. Drop back down and pull another lever until the ice cream cone next to you turns blue. Now you can enter the factory.

Tear up the surroundings immediately to gather enough materials for a large crank and a suit changer for Batman. This suit changer provides the Glide Suit, but before gliding across you must do something about that cold air jet. Push the crank you made earlier to close up the jet, allowing you to safely glide across. Then, put together the parts on the other side to fix the bridge and make it possible for Robin to cross safely as well.

FREE PLAY

Once the ice cream truck is out of the way, pull off the panel to find this LEGO canister. On the right side of the factory, thrash around some trash cans to find LEGO pieces that assemble into a railing of some sort. Then with a super jump character, leap to the LEGO canister that sits at the top. After nabbing this first one, break through the window boards to reveal another LEGO canister. Afterwards, use Mind Control to bypass the security at the left building, then continue to double jump up the wall to eventually arrive at this LEGO canister. The final LEGO canister in this area before the factory interior is situated on a high platform to the right of the entrance. You can reach this area with a double jump, then use the Demolition Suit to blow up the objects there.

Aim at the two large and rather pointy popsicles hang from the ceiling to cut them down, resulting in a dozen shattered LEGO pieces. Quickly assemble the shards to create a staircase leading to two pipe valves. Jump on them to deactivate the icy jets so that you can slip across the slippery ice cream-covered floor.

Take the Magnet Suit up the metal ramp and assemble a grapple point at the top to make it possible for Batman to follow. Further still, ascend the curvy metal ramp and form a box from the LEGO pieces. Push this box over the edge to smash it, which gives up more LEGO pieces. The resulting pieces fit together to create a moving platform. Hitch a ride to the other side and pull the lever to open the door.

The Glide Suit will let Batman clear the gap to the right. Push the crank for Robin. After he's grabbed hold of it, pull the grappling hook back to your side. Then jump onto the large circle switch to momentarily change the conveyor belt into stairs. When either character reaches the top, have him step on the switch above to let his partner run up the stairs after him.

FREE PLAY

Just past the pink ice cream, climb the metal ramp and glide across to the left. Access the security panel on the wall to head inside and blow up the equipment in the back left portion. Head around to the right to take this LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Before moving from this area, double jump to the glass-encased area against the back wall. Use super strength to yank the grate from the floor and smash the objects inside to yield a circle switch. This raises the crate that contains the red power brick underneath it.

Pilot the Batarang into the functioning part of the giant equipment to fill the vat with a purple liquid. Hop into the nearby ice turret to freeze them, creating a solid platform on which you can cross. Use the Magnet Suit to climb the ramp and activate the lever to raise the grapple line to the top.

Somehow we have to shut down the three ice jets delaying your meeting with the ice man himself. Push the crate along the checkered-patterned path until you reach the end to shut one down easily. As for the remaining two, step on the brown and red switches together.

FREE PLAY

When you come to streams of toxic mist, guide a character who is immune to poison into the streams and step on the orange switch. Blow up the shiny object to pick up this LEGO canister.

As fond of using his cute, little freezing toy as Mr. Freeze is, he won't be able to keep up with you if you run circles around him. Eventually, he will tire out and open himself up to a flurry of punches from your end. Eventually too, he will activate a large fan in the back of the room that will blow powerfully in your direction, keeping you from moving toward him.

To counteract this, quickly stack together the pile of LEGOs to create a projectile cannon and launch the cannon. This destroys the fan. Use the Magnet Suit to climb up the magnetic ramp on each side and pull the levers. Assemble the pieces that appear and push the LEGO product across the paved pathway. Once both boxes have been pushed all the way, a giant ice block crashes down on Mr. Freeze and forces him back to ground level. Decorate his face with bruises until he runs out of health.

Talk about beginning a level in style! Manning the ever-so-sleek Batmobile, race down the congested streets of Gotham and blast everything in sight. And we mean everything. You get a lot of studs and secret items this way, including the first LEGO canister from the manhole cover. A second LEGO canister can be collected by trashing three blue and white dumpsters.

FREE PLAY

Head down the ladder to the left and glide through the air across the gap. Plant a bomb on the metal grate to grab this LEGO canister. Exert your influence through Mind Control on the hooligan in the booth to pull the lever and open the door. Waltz in to collect the level's final LEGO canister.

Now the real underlying goal (besides the shooting frenzy that is) is to pelt the green trucks enough times so that they tip over on their side. Then attach a tow cable from the Batmobile and haul the sorry criminals to the bat signal on the ground.

The same basic principle carries on to the next area, where you will have to go and round up the green-colored trucks and turn them in to the police in the back right corner of the map. This time, however, you need to drag three of them. The area may seem rather sizable this time around, but road barricades have been set up all around to ensure you don't stray too far from the desired route. And, of course, obliterating everything in your path will net you four LEGO canisters total.

The battle with Two-Face in his armored vehicle is basically an extension of what you've been doing all along this level. That is, smoking everything you can and then hauling overturned vehicles to the authorities. This is going to be pretty much the same, except more of Two-Face's cronies will be hot on your tail and in greater numbers.

Shoot the Two-Face's white truck until you can tow it to the patient authorities in the lower right corner of the small map. Whilst under the police helicopter, his truck is bombard with an explosive, which takes away one of the three total hearts. Repeat this until the battle ends. The only tricky part is getting the truck to stay still in one spot long enough to "stun" it. IGN suggests cornering it near the police helicopter.

FREE PLAY

With Joker's van, drive onto the Joker-painted panel near the harbor to get a specially delivered crate on the docks. Claim the LEGO canister within. Similarly, drive Harley Quinn's Hammer truck onto the corresponding Harley panel for an additional LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

In the middle of the encounter, locate a shiny wall and goad Two-Face to fire a bomb near there. A proximate explosion should open the way to the last of three vendor carts needed to unveil this LEGO canister. Drive into the grassy area on the left side, near some green containers, to find an alcove leading to a red power brick. Blast the phone booth for a LEGO canister as well.

The beginning garden plays host to an abundance of stud-yielding vegetation and environmental objects. For one thing, plant the seeds in the first patch of garden to grow enormous carrots in the ground, out of which—after a good bashing—pops a LEGO canister. Well, whaddya know!

Underneath the wild growth of vegetation are LEGO pieces, which fully assemble in to a tractor. Ride the tractor around, razing the plants and lamp posts for extra goodies. Assemble the various spare LEGO pieces lying about to form a sprinkler, which fixes the tractor, and a suit changer. The suit changer outfits Batman with the snazzy Sonic Suit, which allows Batman to shatter glass walls with sonic waves. There also just happens to be a glass door blocking the way in to the next area. Try the suit out!

As expected of a greenhouse, the interior is decorated with an assortment of plants, some of which just so happen to be blocking your way. Use the Sonic Suit on the glass feeders to stop nutrient flow to the plants, making them wither away and out of your way. Further in, you will find more tall plants blocking passage into an enclosure. Follow the feed tubes to the source and smash them. One of the feeders is located behind a large glass wall. Smash through it and the feeder, freeing the hostage in the process. All in a day's work.

Batarang the loose-hanging vines on the left most tree near the greenhouse. Under the thick mess is a grapple point. Climb the tree, glide to the opposite tree and stash the new LEGO canister in your collection.

Once the plants have crumbled, smash up everything in the enclosure to scatter LEGO pieces across the floor. Piece these together to create a suit changer for Robin's Attract Suit. This suit equips Robin with a vacuum that sucks up loose LEGO pieces on the ground. A counter keeping track of how many LEGO pieces have been sucked up so far sits on Robin's back. Collect 25 LEGO pieces and deposit them at the Attracto machine near the vicious-looking Venus fly trap.

Mow the plants in the nearby and assemble the LEGO pieces to form a potted plant with fanned out leaves. These leaves provide extra bounce that can launch you to the bar on the wall and to the floating LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

In the greenhouse, you may have noticed an entrance to an area that is protected by an intense heat lamp. Bypass this with the Heat Protection Suit, plant the seeds on the ground, and then pull the lever to turn off the lamp. Use the Technology Suit to get the sprinklers working. After letting the plants grow, grab the LEGO canister. In the same general area is a plant growing in a glass case. Use a strong character to move it and hitch a ride on the fan to the top of a flower. Jump from flower to flower to reach a LEGO canister high up in the room.

The cleared path takes you to a cavern. Batarang the obstruction on the ladder and cross the ledge to the other side. Some hot LEGOs bounce innocently on the ground; do not attempt to piece them together, as they are hot and touching them without proper protection hurts you. Thankfully, next to them is also a suit changer for the Heat Protection Suit.

When the green lid of the pipe closes, use it to hop safely across. Have Batman cross to the red hot area to create a zipline for both parties to exit unscathed.

The laboratory room features another Attracto machine. Leave no furniture unturned, no stone unfurled to gather the required 25 pieces to open the door to the right. Before heading through, move toward the bottom of the screen and jump onto the red, horizontal pipelines to the corner to grab a LEGO canister.

Use the Water Suit to dive into the tank of water, which leads to a LEGO canister.

Above the second leafy pipe is a platform with a magnetic ramp. Magnet Suit up the ramp and collect the LEGO pieces to form a crank you can turn. Then, double jump to the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Located against the back wall are three generators, one of which can be operated by the red lever. Bomb the shiny equipment and put together the resulting pieces to create another lever. This lever fills up the red tank. Use Joker's buzzer on the generator to get a red power brick. If you've been religiously wrecking everything in your path, you should have stumbled across two other giant carrots (three total). The last one can be found near the Attracto machine. Blow up the red tanks and double jump up to find the carrot. Smash the carrot and ride the fan to the LEGO canister.

A large pool of toxic sludge confines you to a small area of free-roaming space. Head to the back and rummage through the cabinets for extra LEGO pieces, which magically form into flowers. Hop on these flowers to cause flower pads to spurt from the toxic sludge and act as stepping stones across the virulent goop. Hop across, without neglecting the lonely LEGO canister in the small alcove, and create a crank from the LEGO pieces. Turn the crank to open the door.

Poison Ivy has the advantage being on her home turf, but no matter! The battle begins with Ivy resting within the protection of her giant plant friends. The trick to beating her is to spot the LEGO pieces lying in front of the left-most plant and fashion them into a bomb, which eventually explodes and forces Ivy out of the dying plant. Ivy migrates in to the mouth of the second plant. Same pattern repeats.

Meanwhile, endless waves of green henchmen spawn from the ground. They can get a little annoying if not taken cared of. Once all three of her plant friends are no longer, go ahead and beat the living snot out of her. Don't feel bad. She's not really a woman.

As you would at any time in this game, smash things up! Past the yellow road barricades, you will find two stacks of LEGO pieces that help you continue forward from this point. After assembling them together, pull the lever on the right-hand security booth to lower the barricades so that the big armored vehicle can pull into the security scanner.

Once through, continue to the far right to find a suit changer with the Glide Suit. Change Batman into the new threadz and have him stand on the gray platform nearby. Switch to Robin and push the adjacent crank to manually and laboriously lift Batman to the scaffold above. From this height, Batman can now glide across to the other side.

A crucial lever is enclosed in an impenetrable wall of lasers. Aim the Batarang at the spinning red switch above to disable the lasers, freeing up access to the lever, which repairs the bridge. Fetch the armored truck from earlier and drive it onto the slightly raised platform to open the door. Before heading through the gate, jump on the five yellow poles to make a LEGO canister appear!

The primary point of interest here lies more to the right, where you will notice light protruding from a booth. Smash the booth with a truck by parking on the red panel on the ground and fix the LEGO pieces into a suit changer containing the Magnet Suit for Robin. Avoid going through the main entrance unless you enjoy dying over and over again. In addition, two LEGO canisters can be found here on the first playthrough. The first appears after you've destroyed all the blue barricades in front of the bank and constructed a huge money sign from the beige LEGO pieces. The second sits on a ledge in the very lower right corner of the area.

With the Magnet Suit on, climb the magnetic ramp on the left and pull the lever to lower the ladder. Swing over to the metal bars and shimmy your way over to the right until an opening allows you onto the second floor. Here, search for some LEGO pieces to build a zipline for Robin, then smash the items on the elevator to fix the elevator. Pull both levers to get the elevator functioning.

You square off against Two-Face this time in a environment that's less-than-friendly. As always, stay away from the green goo. Punch Two-Face a couple of times to send him running off (through the goo!). You can't follow him that way, so there has to be an alternative. Along the left wall are some objects you can smash. Clear them out of the way to reveal a suit changer underneath that holds the Attract Suit! Hop across the square platforms, sucking up as many spare LEGO parts as you can. Then drop off the needed 25 at the Attracto machine, which in turn belches a full-sized boat capable of traveling over the toxic substance!

FREE PLAY

To the left of the bank, you will find the control panel to the main entrance's security lasers. Deactivate them to freely walk through the revolving doors to find this LEGO canister. While wearing the Attract Suit, pay up 25 LEGOs to the Attracto machine to make some sprinklers appear. Some plants nearby grow into full-bloom, at which point you can take advantage of the extra jump momentum offered by the leaves to reach a high ledge on the cliff. Double jump up to an even higher ledge and then to the floating LEGO canister.

Ride the boat to Two-Face and make him run off again. The LEGO pieces here create platforms for you to clear the chasm. Head to the green lever on the right, then glide over to the left and activate that one as well to swing open the bank vault. On the other side of the vault, notice the glowing and moving tiles. The moving tiles will cut you down if you cross paths with them, so weave around them to avoid getting destroyed. Color the four blue panels green to open the door ahead.

Resume the battle with Two-Face. It will be a standard brawl fest. Once Two-Face has been KOed, the Riddler joins the battle. Smash all five of the treasure chests around to receive a LEGO canister. You'll also find another LEGO canister in a blue-shaded alcove to the right.

FREE PLAY

During the fight with Two-Face, just after making the boat, a LEGO canister becomes available, hidden away in the pipe unloading the toxic goo. Must have a character who is immune to toxins to get it. Next, dive head-first into the rectangular pool of toxins (the chasm that you had to build LEGO platforms to cross) to grab this LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Back in the room where you fought Two-Face, near the opened vault door, head off into the toxic pool with a toxin resistant character and tear up the place for a total of four buttons. Step on them in the proper order: red, blue, green and purple to gain access to the level's red power brick. Another LEGO canister can be found just on the opposite side on the right. Bring Mr. Freeze on the vapor mist to freeze it and use the subsequent ice platform to boost yourself up to the canister.

At this point, you begin to discover the Riddler is untouchable while he constantly shoots lasers at you. Search within the stacks of gold bars to find LEGO pieces that assemble into a reflective shield that bats the Riddler's laser beam right back at him. Finish the locks on the remaining two gold stacks to smash them up. Hit him twice with his own beam to lure the Riddler to your level, so that you can properly greet him.

In a tag team sort of effort, Two-Face and the Riddler take turns battling you even though it may not be of his own volition for Two-Face. Simply just pummel each with the karate until the Riddler can take no more.

There may seem to be tons to do at first in this space, but many of the goodies require a return play during Free Play. In the alleyway, bust up the barrels to find a suit changer for Robin, in which he could change into the Magnet Suit. Trudge up the magnetic ramp to the right and hit the lever to drop the ladder for Batman. Ascend the ladders and cross the zipline. Assemble the LEGO pieces to form another zipline and cross it.

The higher rooftop provides Batman's Glide Suit, which is what you need to fly across the rooftop gaps. Once across, build the rest of the bridge for Robin. When you come to three rows of greenhouse plants, smash them all and plant the seedlings. Growing them all gives you access to a tractor, which you will proceed to use to mow down what you've just sown. However, all is not bad when a LEGO canister appears in the sky. You may have to glide over to get it.

Walk Robin up the metal ramp to create a grapple point for Batman. Glide over to the opposite rooftop and turn the bottom crank to rotate the crane around towards Robin. The crane's underside radiates a strong enough magnetic attraction for Robin's suit, so he can cross to the other side by walking along the bottom of it.

Hey, look! It's Catwoman! She is a bit bashful this time, as a few light taps will be enough to send her packing. Follow her to the other rooftop as Batman and put together the pieces for the zipline for Robin to follow suit. Magnet Suit up the ramp and pull the lever to create an alternate means for ascension.

FREE PLAY

There are several noteworthy things to mention here regarding goodies. The toxic spillage by the docks normally grant instant death to any without the proper immunity. Using a character who can withstand it, walk through the sludge and fix the equipment with LEGOs. Pull the lever to open a gate underwater and sink down into it to claim a LEGO canister. On the far left of the area, assemble a crank and turn it to open a gate behind you. Put together the pieces here for a car. Drive it to the suit changer and power-lift the dumpster there out of the way. Proceed to direct the car in there to get another LEGO canister. Similarly, have a character with super strength lift the green dumpster from the other alleyway. The loose LEGO pieces turn out to be some flowers that you will need to rip up to find the first of three carrots in the level. The remaining two are hidden under shiny objects on the pier, which you can blow up. In the lower right corner, drop an explosive on the shiny barrels and pull the lever to open the gate underwater. Drop in with a swimmer and fish up the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

After the bridge on the rooftop, remove the dumpster you come across and grapple up to the ledge above. Blow through the windows, taking down everything and everyone in your path until the LEGO canister appears.

FREE PLAY

In the area where you first crossed paths with Catwoman, use a strong character to pull the heavy object out of the doorway and head inside. Blow up the giant fan and double jump to the LEGO canister.

Two suit changers, side-by-side. Nab the Technology Suit for Robin and suit up in the nifty Demolition Suit. First, blast through the shiny objects and construct a tiny RC vehicle. Then, as Robin, hack into the tech panel to take control of the car and drive it into the glass enclosure. The goal here is to switch the red panels to green panels by driving over the buttons via the green mini-ramp. When both panels turn green, out of the ground emerges more shiny objects for Batman to blow up.

The pieces come together to form a helicopter. Use it to reach the next rooftop, where you need to tip over some trash cans for pieces to two levers. Assemble the two levers and pull them both at the same time to open the trap door in the ground.

You begin the next area within a building with some rather undesirable company. Shove them through the windows and break out onto the balcony. Continue to the right to catch up to Catwoman. This catty vixen likes to play hard-to-get. She will jump from three rooftops of varying heights in an effort to avoid you. Smash the objects in the corner to build a ladder leading up to the second rooftop. The third rooftop can be reached via the grapple point. Chase her down and sneak in as many punches as you can before she darts away again.

FREE PLAY

While piloting the helicopter, fly over to the roof with the greenhouse. Ditch the ‘copter and use the Sonic Suit to break the windows protecting this LEGO canister. Further to the right, climb the ladder leading to a glass greenhouse and shatter it with the Sonic Suit. While equipped with a Water Suit, dive into the water tank and swim to the left to find the LEGO canister.

The Batboat maneuvers and functions similarly to the Batmobile. This time, Robin sails by your side in his mini-boat that fires off torpedoes. First thing you want to do is attach the tow to the side of the lighthouse and yank it off to spawn a LEGO canister above a ship deck. Leap off the ramp to catch it. Now, steer Robin's boat to the right side and fire off torpedoes at the two colorful objects in the water. One releases a metal crate into the water.

Floating in the middle of the water too is an orange bomb that the Batboat's tow can latch onto. Snag a bomb and guide it to the crate for a LEGO canister. Pick up another bomb and slam it into the wall on the right to open the gate. Use the ramp to launch you over the wall to the next area, where you will need to use Robin's watercraft to destroy the gate on the right side. Also, keep an eye out for certain buoys that Robin can shoot down. There are three of them total.

Batboat Battle

Submerge under the red and green switches and hit the yellow switches to raise a few destructible buoys. The destroyed buoys drop a ship into the water. Torpedo this ship and reap the reward.

FREE PLAY

There is an area shielded by a thick sheet of ice. Use a submarine to reach the LEGO canister in the center. Amid the spillage of toxic muck is a shiny metal box. This part is tricky: skillfully float a bomb towards it without actually driving into the sludge yourself. Once successful, use the Swamp Rider to retrieve the prize.

Afterwards, snag a bomb and drag it to the other gate to continue. In the next area, yank off the metal covering off the drainage pipe in the upper right corner to reveal a hidden LEGO canister. Another LEGO canister is located on the left side. Float a bomb toward the gated pipe on the left to release it. Next, you want to change between Robin's and Batman's watercrafts to blast large red panels and destroy obstacles blocking your way to these red panels. Seek out four red panels in all to open the way into the next area.

Penguin's warship can look a bit more self-imposing than it is. Most of the ship remains invulnerable to your attacks, except for the left side of the ship, where you will need to guide one of the orange bombs into. This weakens the ship and forces it to repair the damage and basically relocate its weak point elsewhere. Drop three more bombs into the right side, back and front side of the ship to bring its shields down.

During these attempts, Penguin dispatches water mines and odd motorized penguin crafts that speed around the water. Sic Robin on these nuances and concentrate on bombing the weak areas of the ship. We found it easier to guide these bombs into the intended location if you just run the Batboat directly into the desired area and wait for the bomb to slowly drift toward it. When the ship's health has been weathered away to two hearts, the end is just a matter of pressing the laser-firing button as rapidly as you can.

FREE PLAY

With a submarine, sneak off with a few torpedoes from the back right wall and blast the gate behind Penguin's warship. Dip under the ice further up and resurface in the hole in the center to get a LEGO canister. In the same area, dive and head to the right. Shoot the targets on the wall to net a red power brick. The final LEGO canister is again located in the vicinity of the last one you'd just gotten from the ice area. Release a bomb into the metal boxes without touching the green goo and use the Swamp Rider to cash in your goods.

Ransack the debris scattered around to find parts to build the suit changer. Put on Robin's Magnet Suit and head up the metal ramp. Pulling the lever drops the ladder for Batman which allows him to pick up his own suit, the Demolition Suit. Drop an explosive by the metal gate on the right to head on through it to the next area.

Around the middle of the next area, some LEGO pieces form a crank. Turning this crank elevates the red valve to the right. Use the leverage to hop up to the suit changer for the Water Suit. Now you can dive into the water tanks in the back of the room. Fall into the tank on the left and run through the connecting tube to the right. Assemble the LEGO pieces on the surface to form a water pump. Jump on it several times to drain the water out of the tanks. Set an explosive in front of the circular silver door to proceed.

Under the City

Access the tech panel, located near the gate exit, to take control of the boat in the water. Sail it into the three red and white buoys for a red power brick. Double jump up to the platform with the Water Suit and glide across to next. Once past the security gate, use a character with double attributes that include super strength and toxin immunity to reach the metal box inside. The LEGO canister resides under the box.

Move to the center platform in the next room and use Demolition Batman to free up some spare LEGO pieces from the metal grate in the wall. This creates a grapple line leading up to the two suit changers above: a Magnet Suit and Glide Suit. For now, only Robin can cross to the other platform by way of the long strip of magnetic metal along the wall. Batman will somehow follow.

Locate two red floor switches and step on both at the same time for a bridge to slide out of the wall. Batman can now go retrieve the Demolition Suit and bust open the silver manhole cover.

Slide down the water and look for silver cogs. Replace them on both slides (on the one leading up too). Then focus your attention on the two orange targets in the distance. You cannot reach them by normal means, but perhaps your

There is a LEGO canister sitting high on a platform near the left-hand tank. Double jump up to reach it.

At the entrance to this area, drop to the level below and have someone strong remove the hefty blue object from the doorway. Inside, use the Sonic Suit on the glass. Bomb the metal cage and claim what is rightfully yours. Next to both of the suit changers is a high catwalk you can access by double jumping to it. Follow this around and then glide toward the LEGO canister situated behind a pipe.

FREE PLAY

If you scale the wall by jumping up the horizontal bars, you will find an Attracto machine. Wreak havoc upon the room to litter the place with spare LEGO parts that you can now go around collecting in the Attract Suit. Deposit the 25 pieces into the machine to create a boat. Steer the boat into five buoys as quickly as you can so that the light on all of them turn green simultaneously. Success rewards you with—what else but—a LEGO canister.

Batarang can. Smack them both to flood the recess with water and a few crocs. Swim across and assemble the LEGO pieces into a lever. Pull the lever to transform the green sides of the water slide into stairs. Yay, now you can take the stairs up.

The crocodile you create from LEGOs provides you with bonus studs, nothing more. Of more important worth, the lever created from LEGO pieces ejects a valve on the other side, which causes some metal shingles to spill over the side. Head for the metal shingles and plaster them along the lined wall. Climb up the metal wall and slip into the Water Suit. Jump into the water and pull the lever underneath to raise the water level in the neighboring tank. As the water level rises, three floating platforms rise up with it. If you dive under the third platform, you will find a LEGO canister. Ascend the ladder to confront Killer Croc.

The battle with Killer Croc pans out in a very straightforward manner. On occasion, he will call a stop to his beatings and run out to a sizable puddle of toxic muck. The chute next to him dispenses some metal objects which he proceeds to chuck at you. Avoid these painful offerings by running around the room. When he's run out of objects to hurt you with, he submits to more painful lashes. Repeat until it's over.

FREE PLAY

Lead a toxin resistant character through the green pool toward the back of the wall and lower the ladder. Climb the ladder and take the LEGO canister. Beyond the green water slide, a few scraps of LEGO pieces lying around come together to be a odd-looking toilet thing. You can either push this against the wall and use it to reach the LEGO canister hovering on a ledge above, or double jump a couple times to get it.

FREE PLAY

Have both of the characters climb up the magnetic wall. Stand on the platform and have your partner stand on the button for a spectacular team effort. Once at the top, set an explosive to extract the LEGO canister. To the far right of the area, assemble some cogs and have Joker fix the generator so that the platform can start moving.

Bust through the windows in the building to the left and head inside, where you will find Robin's Magnet Suit. Get back outside and aim the Batarang at the targets on the building to the north. The whole wall of the building collapses revealing an arcade and a suit changer for Batman. Grab the Glide Suit and lead Robin up the magnetic strip in the lower left.

Smash the windows to find some LEGO pieces to build a grapple point for Batman. Once Batman has hauled himself up, glide over to the other ledge and hop into the fenced off area to the right. Quickly build the bulldozer from the heap of LEGO pieces and batter the iron gate, mowing down all who dare to oppose you in the process. Run the bulldozer through the gate on the left to exit.

FREE PLAY

Take advantage of a woman's seductive powers and put them to good use on the fool in the booth located in the lower left to melt away his callous heart. Proceed inside and plant an explosive. Construct a boat from the LEGO pieces and sail into all the white and red buoys in the water to grab this LEGO canister. Clear the iron-barred gate along the wall of the right-hand building with a super strong character. Then, with a toxin resistant character prance across the toxic goo and build a working elevator. Ride it and double jump off it to reach the LEGO canister. Suit up in the Attract Suit and deposit the 25 LEGO pieces the Attracto machine desires inside the building to the left. In return, you will get a LEGO canister.

Continue to the right, busting up everything in your path. You will find the Technology Suit for Robin. Proceed further to the right as Batman and glide over the small gap over the water and the terrifying alligators. Waste the objects here to find construction pieces for two objects: one, a turtle; the other, a crank, which extends the bridge for Robin. Return to the suit changer and outfit Robin in the Tech Suit. Access the green tech panel, which must first be built, to gain control of the turtle.

Move the turtle into the building next to the tech panel and place the turtle over the big red button on the floor. This opens the gate in to the building and grants access to Batman's Sonic Suit. Grab the suit and shatter the glass protective case surrounding the lever to the far right. Now you can pull the lever and exit.

Hop onto the docked jungle boat and ransack the cargo onboard for pieces to a plank. Leap onto the large green lily pads in the water and bounce across the alligator-filled river to the awaiting Demolition Suit on the other side. Nab the suit and bounce back toward the front of the boat. If you land on the big lily pad near the front of the boat, a LEGO canister appears in the air. Hop aboard the boat and place an explosive on the metal grate on the boat and head through.

FREE PLAY

Behind the creepy-looking face statue in the beginning are a bunch of LEGO pieces that can be put together and result in a LEGO canister appearing. To get it, exploit Poison Ivy's love of plants and grow a flower in the brown flower pot in front. The cultivated plant will allow you to reach the canister. Not too far from the previous canister, you may notice a high circular platform. Double jump up to it and blow the top off of the ground to find a red power brick. Notice too that many of the animal exhibits have metal gates in front of them. They can be opened with a powerful enough explosive. In the first exhibit, you must double jump over the river and then blow up the shiny rocks. The other LEGO canister is hiding behind the big elephants.

FREE PLAY

Back at the place with the Demolition Suit, build a ladder leading up to the idol statue and use a strong character to remove it. For another LEGO canister, stand on the lily pad behind the boat as Mr. Freeze and freeze the waterfall. Explore the alcove to find it.

The Man-Bat isn't so tough. Bruise him to send him airborne, where he proceeds to bomb the ground below. Stay out of the way of these bombs before they explode. The trick here is to smash the objects in the center of the room to build both a sound projector and a crank to control it. Turn the crank to emit sound waves that make Man-Bat feel woozy and drop him back to the floor. Take this opportunity to beat him up. He will take to the air once more and trash your creations, so you will have to rebuild them and repeat.

Tear up the environment as usual. Search for orange and green circular LEGO pieces in particular. Interact with these to create carrots. There are three of these in this first area; on the third one, you will uncover a LEGO canister.

Continue to the right until you spot the suit changer located on a high ledge. Destroy the objects below it to find pieces that build into a ladder leading up to the suit changer. Suit up in the Glide Suit and glide across the broken bridge as Batman. There is a large red contraption on the other side with a few missing parts. Find the missing parts and replace them. Jump on the green button a few times to inflate and drop a lifeboat into the water.

After both parties have crossed, knock down all the glimmering icicles hanging off the edge of the roof of the cabin. The LEGO pieces create a powerful heater that dissolves the barrier of ice blocking the door. Inside, grab the Water Suit and dive into the water to activate the lever under. Cross the newly raised bridge and create a grapple point from the debris. Grapple up and immediately glide to the left to a LEGO canister.

Through the cave, you confront an unsightly combination, Catwoman and Penguin himself. In the beginning, Penguin will keep himself free from harm by standing at a level where you cannot reach him. Catwoman will jump down and battle you head-on in his place. She's not a crucial element in this fight, so just whack her until she runs away and concentrate on aiming the Batarang at the four targets around Penguin.

Once those targets hit, Penguin gets a rude awakening and begins to deploy penguin bombs, which skitter toward you in a straight line. Rotate the green panel in the center of the room to the left or right to redirect the penguin bombs toward the purple objects around the walls. After successfully blowing up one of the purple objects, the cycle repeats and you must keep shocking Penguin and redirecting his penguin bombs at the purple objects until all four are destroyed.

FREE PLAY

There's a noticeable LEGO canister trapped under a thick ice shield in the ground. You can free it by using the Sonic Suit. As Mr. Freeze, ride the lifeboat and freeze the water in front of the metal cage on the wall. Then, blow it up to access the LEGO canister within. The LEGO canister atop the cabin's roof can be reached simply by double jumping onto the metal bars on the cliffside next to the cabin and then jumping onto the rooftop itself.

At this point, Penguin floats around in his umbrella, indecisive in whether he wants to attack. Decide for him by Batarang-ing him down and doling out copious amounts of pain. You will have to do this several times before he finally bites the dust.

Although a heavy gate stands in the way of the next area, you can easily kick it down. Head in and aim the Batarang at the objects hanging above the scaffold to send everything tumbling down. The cracked pieces turn out to be parts for a Attract Suit suit changer. Change into the Attract Suit and gather 25 LEGO pieces. If you smash everything within the area, there should be enough for the Attracto machine. In return, the Attracto machine quickly assembles a useful machine that cleans up all the toxic waste splattered around the area.

In particular, purify the area past the suit changer to continue into the next part. Head to the right to find some metal bars. Install them on the wall and use them to climb up. Grapple up and build a suit changer for Batman. Throw on the Glide Suit and drop to the left. You will need to seal the toxic spray with the LEGO pieces lying nearby. Then, glide over the gap and set up a zipline for Robin to follow.

FREE PLAY

There are five LEGO canister to be gotten in the midst of the heated battle against Penguin and Catwoman. One of them can be found among some toxic goo on the left side. You need to use Penguin for his bombs and a toxic resistant character to recover it. First send the penguin bomb to blow up the grate and walk across to grab it. Another one is located out on a rocky platform. A more obvious one requires the double jump to reach it. Bring the Sonic Suit over to the right side and shatter your way in. Smash the objects in the back to reveal some hot LEGO pieces. As long as you have the Heat Protection Suit on, you will be able to handle them and assemble them as normal. To get a red power brick, use the grapple point and move over to the metal bars. Hop on the third treadmill and step on the gray button afterward to collect the brick. The final LEGO canister appears when all four of the red beacons around the top of the room are destroyed.

When both characters are up to speed, grab hold of the tilted scaffold with both characters. The scaffold will cave under the sheer weight of the two and crash through the hole in the ground.

Standing at the top floor of the warehouse, you should notice a large mess of the green substance covering half the room. Push the crate along the path and down to the floor, where it splits into LEGO pieces. Glide across, following the trail of studs to an opposite scaffold, and shove the crate over the edge as well. The only problem is: we can't reach the pieces since the toxic substance stands in the way.

Start collecting the 25 LEGO pieces needed for the Attracto machine, which helps you out by reconnecting you to the first area of the level. You can now retrieve the toxin cleansing machine from the first area and use it to suck up the mess in here. If you've wiped the place clean of every green puddle, the gate to a platform on the far right opens up. Park the machine on the platform to receive a LEGO canister.

Return to the fallen LEGO pieces and recreate the gears on the wall. This allows you to open the door.

Inside the factory, head to the right until you reach some bright red crates. Send the two crashing to the floor to free up some LEGO pieces. Glide over to the third crate and do the same. With these pieces, a forklift comes into being. The forklift destroys the shiny objects you normally cannot. Under these shiny objects are more LEGO pieces that build into another forklift, a ladder and a red switch. Step on the red switch, climb the ladder and step on the other red switch. This

To reach the LEGO canister floating just out-of-reach on the rooftop, you must bomb the shiny objects and build a fan that will scoop you up to the canister.

You need the Joker to activate the switch on the left side of the room. Take the dropped ladder to the top and double jump to grab the LEGO canister. Along the left-most wall is a mind control panel. Go into the next room and use the Demolition Suit to combust all the shiny objects in the room. Then, assemble the LEGO pieces that spawned from pushing a brown object under the pipe. Make sure you have the Heat Protection Suit.

deactivates the toxic geysers and allows passage deeper into the factory.

Drive the forklift through more debris to find pieces that assemble into a crank. Before you can do anything with it though, you first have to hop up to the metal bear and activate the lever to move the toxic dispenser. After relocating it over the right tank, press the red switch again to fill the tank with goo. Hop across the floating platforms and glide across to the pulsating red switch. As a result of pulling the switch, Robin can now safely cross the bridge.

Better yet, you can drive the forklift across the bridge and park it on the orange pad to activate the lift. Take the lift up and proceed through the red tunnel.

Some red flashing lights hang from the ceiling. Aim the Batarang at them to knock them all down and reveal LEGO parts for Robin's suit changer. Climb the magnetic ramp after changing into the appropriate suit and finish constructing the box. Shove it along the marked path to spin the large wheel in the center. With the bridge only partially complete, it's up to Batman to finish the job. Glide across the narrower gap and build the rest of the bridge. Walk up the magnetic ramp to

FREE PLAY

Hack into the tech panel (with the Technology Suit, of course) not far from the factory entrance to take control of a crane. Snatch up bombs and bombard the three purple domes. Put together the resulting LEGO pieces and step on the switches for the LEGO canister. There is a fan blowing a steady stream of toxic mist just before the toxic geysers. Grab a character who is immune to poison and drop in the toxic pool to pull the red switch. This plugs up the fan and lets you grab the LEGO canister there.

FREE PLAY

After getting off the elevator, spot the discolored gate and bust it open with a strong character. Assemble the metal bars and double jump to them. Proceed to the top to find a LEGO canister. The other LEGO canister in this area is floating around in the toxic gunk near the area's exit.

The Mad Hatter is a skittish kind of fellow. After a few punches, he retreats to higher ground (as they all do) and waits patiently for you to do something about it. Well, start by walking up the magnetic ramp on the right. Moving onto the catwalk causes it to collapse, creating a sort of ramp for Batman to head up as well. Have both characters jump on the red switches to open a trapdoor beneath Mad Hatter and send him plummeting into the pool.

In defense, Mad Hatter begins to seize control of one of your characters. Simply switch to the other to reach him and beat him bloody. Keep switching characters if he manages to snag the other as well. Mad Hatter moves back to the top platform, this time on the left side. Assemble the LEGO pieces on the left to complete the elevator and ride it to the top. Again, have both characters step on the switch to force Mad Hatter back down. Pummel him, and before too long, this coward will surrender.

FREE PLAY

When you first enter the area, head off to the left and solidify the water as Mr. Freeze. Jump on the new ice platforms and double jump up to the other side. Bring down the glass wall with the Sonic Suit. Hopefully, you have some basic knowledge of the color wheel. You have to mix two colors together to create the desired color. Red and blue make purple; yellow and blue mix into green; yellow and red turn orange. Blend them correctly to get a red power brick. Additionally, at the far end of the area is a Joker generator. Activate the elevator and ride it up. Push the crank and grab the LEGO canister.

Blow up some shiny objects in the lower left corner of the room to claim this LEGO canister.

The entrance to the building you want to enter is currently boarded up, but you can easily bash them down to flush out the goons inside and grab the Demolition Suit from within as well. Continue further to a pair of gates with debris lying in front of them. Build objects from the debris and blow them up to create a hole in the gate. Head on through to the next area.

Ditch the Demolition Suit in favor of the Sonic Suit located around the corner and use it to break the glass doors of the large building. Inside, build the pieces into a Magnet Suit changer. Along the lower edge of the screen, smash the objects to find pieces for a crank. Turning this crank causes a magnetic ramp to emerge from the ground, allowing Robin to clamber up and build a grapple point over the fence.

A crashed bus blocks access to the area on the left, so move it out of the way with a strong character. Pull out the dumpster and double jump onto it to reach some LEGO pieces which assemble into a zipline. Take the zipline to the LEGO canister sitting atop the opposite building. Bust into the first glass building with the Sonic Suit and play the target game. Fling the Batarang at all the targets for a LEGO canister to appear above. Head all the way to the right of the building with the Demolition Suit inside for pieces to a ladder. After finishing the ladder, climb up, hop onto the top of the building and free-run it across the buildings. You will need a Glide Suit to clear the gap between the middle and last building. Also on the roof of the middle building are silver manholes that can be blown off with a proper explosive. Remove the tops and jump in with a Water Suit to fish out a LEGO canister. At the far right, spy the green tech panel and access it with Robin's Technology Suit. Open the shutter door and play the carnival game here. Chuck the Batarang at the targets to snatch up another canister. The final goodie of the area is located across the chasm on the far right. Shuffle into the exposed area after pulling the lever and access the tech panel (Technology Suit). You gain control of a crane that's capable of clamping down on some pink stuffed animals. Smash each one like a piñata and then, grab the red power brick.

Before hopping the fence, there is a container wedged up against the corner, below a red window, when you first enter the area. Use the Sonic Suit on the trash can to blow the top off, then break open the container to unveil grapple point pieces. Shatter the red window with the Batarang and then grapple to the top. Collect the easy LEGO canister inside.

Take the grapple point to surmount the high fence. Find LEGO pieces within the outdoor dining furniture that build into an Attract Suit changer. Locate the 25 LEGO pieces you need for the Attracto machine. Be sure to leave nothing destructible unbroken and remember to search through the buildings by first shattering the glass as Sonic Suit Batman. The Attracto machine will spit out the rest of the ladder pieces for you to climb to the top.

Head into the tall tower; turns out it's a spiraling slide ride! On the way down, you will run into a hitchhiking LEGO canister.

Proceed to the right and build a crank from the smashed objects. Rotate the crank to unlock the gate and face Harley.

FREE PLAY

Have the Joker interact with the generator next to the now malfunctioned tea cup ride for another simple LEGO canister catch.

FREE PLAY

Access the green tech panel to activate the miniature boats in the poisonous water. Steer each of the colored boats into each of their distinctly colored shacks to obtain a LEGO canister. Although not necessary, you could use an toxin resistant character to grab it. Within the same vicinity, break through to the bumper car ride in the very back by using a strong character to tear the gate off the hinges. Shortly after entering a bumper car, Joker minions quickly join you. Bump into each of them several times to earn a LEGO canister.

An accomplished acrobat, Harley proves to be quite adept at running away. For the first few minutes of the fight, Harley skillfully outpaces you and always lands just shy of your deadly punches. Fret not! Patiently chase her around in circles to keep her moving. Eventually, all that flipping will tire her out. This is your cue to finally sneak in some punches! Unfortunately, you can manage one jab before she composes herself again.

Not happy with being assaulted, Harley summons some of her minions while she stands in the back and recovers. Deal with the lackeys to call her back, and the pattern repeats again with her constant backflipping and occasionally firing her pistol.

Another vehicle mission, though this time you abuse the destructive power and flying prowess of the Batwing. Fleets of airfighters attempt to shoot you down, but the real target is stationed to the far right, a Joker anti-aircraft missile launcher. What a doozy. Your Batwing's puny guns won't dent this badboy, so head to the upper left and load up a few anti-anti-aircraft missiles! You know you have them when you see a few missiles trailing behind you and a huge purple reticle appears on the anti-aircraft launcher when you approach it.

FREE PLAY

During the fight, wade through the viscous green goo with a character who is immune to poison. Locate the grapple point and head up to assemble a zipline. Cross the zipline to this LEGO canister.

Fire a missile at the enemy target, which confuses it and creates an exit for you while blowing itself up to smithereens. Alas, heading through makes you realize there are a total of six of these anti-aircraft launchers! Blast them one-by-one, although when you get to the fourth one the whole monorail tracks collapse. In addition, a LEGO canister sits on the northern end of the monorail tracks, as well as a second one near the fifth and sixth anti-aircraft launchers.

In his haste to escape, the enemy brought up a huge columns of fire that somehow need to be extinguished. Back near the second and third anti-aircraft launchers was a structure. Shoot it to pieces to reveal a mine. Switch to the Batcopter and sling a tow cable around it. Carry it over to the flames, making sure the mine comes into contact with the gas tank underneath.

If you again tow a mine to the very far right and drop it on the blue tinted box sitting under the big hotel sign, you will receive another LEGO canister.

A force field in the next area, guarded by two sentries, stands in the way. First, drag a mine toward the container in the center to free up some missiles. Run these missiles into the two sentries situated on each side of the barrier to power down the force field. On another note, drag a mine into three shiny blue valves to secure a LEGO canister. As well, grab a missile and fly over to the left. A discolored part of the vertical pipe can be blown off to reveal another LEGO canister.

Scarecrow will tail the Batwing like a fat kid trying to get a Twinkie. What you need to do then is grab a few missiles from the dispenser and stop in one spot. This way, the Scarecrow doesn't move around a whole lot and shake the Batcopter loose. Switch to the Batcopter and latch onto the Scarecrow with the tow cable. This gives the Batwing a clear shot of the plane with its missiles. Meanwhile, there is a LEGO canister floating above an orange water tower tetrad.

FREE PLAY

The red power brick lies beyond the clouds of poisonous gas billowing from the three chimneys. You must have a toxin immune craft to get past, then shoot the structures behind.

Large puddles of the toxic stuff prevents you from simply running after the Killer Moth. You need to fix the elevator on the scaffold and install a metal bar from which to hang. Jump onto the bar and hop over the fence to the other side.

Follow the Killer Moth down the street, but as soon as he spots you he disappears into a building and quickly has a van block off the entrance. What to do? In the alleyway nearby, trash the dumpsters to construct a fan on the ground. Then, break the phone booth to reveal a lever behind it. Activate the lever to start the fan up and ride the breeze up to the narrow ledge on the opposite building.

Take it to an elevator that's currently not working. Break through the wooden boards into the abandoned building and

ransack the place to recover pieces that turn into a crank. Have Batman stand on the elevator while Robin turns the crank. Lift Batman up to retrieve his Demolition Suit. Now take an explosive to the van parked at the entrance and blow it up!

As you sweep through the bar furniture, you should be amass enough LEGO pieces to build a total of three things: a zipline, a grapple point and the remaining pieces to the lower blue box on the far right. When the box is finished, push the box along the checker-patterned floor and into the wall slot. Head up the grapple point and assemble the zipline up there. Cross it and set explosives near the ceiling lights. The ceiling lights provide the necessary pieces to fill in the missing tiles on the checkered floor. Push in the remaining box into the slot and pull the lever.

FREE PLAY

Past the initial puddles of toxic muck, there are some silver studs on a balcony. Double jump up to that balcony and grapple up to the top. A LEGO canister lies in wait here. If you peer inside the next building, you will see a lone worker. Mind control him and have him pull the red lever. Find pieces to complete the door within the box that appears and yank off the door with super human strength. Smash all the objects in the building to build one of three cakes. The next one occupies the abandoned building to the right. Plant an explosive at the loose-hanging window and head inside. Tear everything up and put together the oven. Seconds later, the second cake comes out. High on the green-lit wall to the right of the second cake is a ladder you can reach by double jumping to it. On the rooftop, smash everything as usual and collect your LEGO canister for your efforts.

FREE PLAY

A LEGO Canister floats in the back of the room in plain sight, but it is sitting within a giant aquarium! You need both Poison Ivy and the Water Suit to obtain this canister. First, grow a plant on the empty flower pots in front of the aquarium. Climb up and dive into the tank with the Water Suit. Not to neglect the Attracto machine in this room, suck up the 25 LEGO pieces and give it a whirl in the machine. A helicopter is formed; access the tech panel next to the aquarium to take control of the copter and fly it into each of the bulbs of the ceiling lights near the bottom of the screen for the LEGO canister.

A dance floor with nobody dancing?! Typical. Jazz up the party by first removing all the furniture and planting a bomb at the big, gaudy statue on the podium. This reveals a Technology Suit changer for Robin. Assemble also the two large speakers and the disco ball in the center (you have to blow up the shiny box on the dance floor). Step on the white panels on the dance floor at the same time with your partner until the entire floor is lit.

The floor opens up and slowly lifts a cool robot out! Access the tech panel to clumsily control this bizarre creation and guide it into the colorful wall in the back. Now you can go out.

Outside the bar, everything's in chaos: innocent people getting bullied, stuff is on fire and a big pool of toxic muck sections off the important half of the area. Calm down! Smash things among the beaming lights to put together the Magnet Suit for Robin. Find the L-shaped magnetic strip along the wall next to the fire to cross to the other side of the poisonous water. Fix the pump, which proceeds to completely drain the lethal toxins, making it safe for Batman to cross.

Blow up the shiny containers and assemble another magnetic ramp for Robin. Don't forget to grab the LEGO canister on the way to the zipline. Pull the lever to drop down a ladder for Batman. Blow up the fence and collect enough LEGO pieces to complete the water reservoir pump (hint: Batarang the lights). Step on the pump with both characters to douse the flames below. Proceed through this thug-filled area and blow the top off the manhole, just before the steps. Drop in to claim a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Before you can even think to move the big truck out of the way, thinking there is a secret goodie behind (you are correct), you need to glue back on the missing handle pieces. Once they are found and properly attached to the truck, shove it out of the way and blow up the object to find a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Past the fire and just underneath the dumpsters are a bunch of hot LEGO pieces. Equipped with the Heat Protection Suit, gather these up to build a ladder and climb the LEGO product. Leap across the gap and double jump up to a red power brick. Sweet!

The overriding goal of the Killer Moth fight is—other than to bring this sucker down—give power to the enormous light bulb in the back of the room. After punching Killer Moth a couple of times, he takes to the air and flaps around a bit. Pay him no mind and proceed to blow the left gate clear out of the way. Grab the Technology Suit and search for parts for the currently inoperative turbines.

Complete construction on the left turbine and take care of the incoming wave of henchmen before interacting with the tech panel. At the tech panel, press the action button to spin the turbine and create a spark of electricity that travels along the channel. This powers up the levers adjacent the light bulb. Once both levers are pulled, the light bulb emits a bright light that brings the Killer Moth down to ground level.

Punch him a few more times before he retreats again. Assemble the pieces on the right turbine this time, but the tech panel doesn't work! Head into the room on the right and push the large container along the checker-patterned floor until its end. Go use the tech panel now and spin the turbine. Pull both levers and meet Killer Moth on the floor. That should be the end of him.

To kick things off to a positive start, aim immediately for the left wall. There you will need to smash the objects for ladder pieces. Climb the ladder and have both characters step on the red switches. Doing this opens up a secret compartment in-between, and in it, a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

The room on the back right can be accessed only after using the Sonic Suit to shatter the glass wall. Smash the objects within and assemble an object that Joker can interact with. Pick up the LEGO canister afterward.

Additionally, located at three spots are these destructible gargoyle statues (two blue ones and a black one). The black one sits in the lower left corner, and the two blue ones stand erect on the towers on either side of the area. The left blue one, however, can be gotten only after Batman can be boosted up to the top of the main building and jump to this tower. That will be soon. For your trouble, you will be gifted a LEGO canister.

Build the Demolition Suit changer behind the police SWAT cars and take the new suit to the tower on the right. There is a platform with a hang bar protruding from the tower itself; use it to get inside the tower and take the Magnet Suit for Robin. Move all the way to the left tower and blow up a black object. Some LEGO pieces for a magnetic wall spill out. Before climbing up, push the statue block over to the right, so Robin can hop across to the other building with relative ease. Rotate the crank, and Harley will appear.

Drop down and head for the SWAT trucks with water guns on the top of the truck. Hop in and squirt Harley with water, at which point she immediately destroys your gun. Move to the next gun and shoot her again. She destroys that one as well! Thankfully though there are enough scraps from both demolished guns to create a brand new one from the ground! Get in this and soak Harley one last time before she runs off again. Good riddance. Build a powerful fan from the leftover pieces and propel yourself up to the top of the building.

FREE PLAY

You should have noticed the lone LEGO canister trapped behind a solid glass. Use the Sonic Suit to free it. There's also an Attracto machine on the far right. Deposit the necessary amount for an explosive, which is to be destroyed in exchange for a LEGO canister. Finally, notice the LEGO canister floating atop a narrow platform on the right side of the building. Hop over to it after expelling Harley and climb atop the higher wall in front of it. Then, double jump up to the canister.

Despite your utter displeasure, you need to chase after Harley, who leaps far away from you each time you get close. Head first to the right and complete the lever, which controls the height of a nearby platform. Use it to cross to the opposite side and follow the stairwell to the top. Assemble the magnetic ramp and climb it to the top. Running along the left side is a very thin ledge that you can barely jump to. Follow it to the end to pick up a LEGO canister.

Head back and pull the lever. The lever places the chandelier conveniently between you and the other platform. Search under the debris further to the right to find a LEGO canister.

After getting the Glide Suit, climb the ladder and glide across to where Harley is. Push the crank to swing a hang bar over to Robin, and push the crank back to bring him over. A button on the floor moves the statue up and down. Leave it at a level where Robin can use it to cross to the opposing ledge. Climb the magnetic ramp and cross, then build a grapple point for Batman. Together, pull down the levers to open the door.

FREE PLAY

Opt to head left instead of right as the Joker and activate the electric generator here. Take the ladder (it's really hard to see) and hop across the platforms to the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

At last grapple point, there is an area below with an organ. Armed with super strength, slide the organ closer to the valve object on the right. Then jump on the valve a couple of times. An organ maestro is summoned and plays the organ. You then get a red power brick.

The Joker is one devious guy! He and Harley are hiding out in the two bells; we've got to get them out somehow. First, head down to the right and assemble an anvil, which brings up a grapple point. Head up and across the gap. Provide Robin with a metal bar so that he can join you on the orange panel. A big hammer hits the side of the bell, forcing Harley out of it. Great!

On the right side, complete the floor and push the object along the path until you hit the stopping point. Climb the magnetic ramp and setup metal bars for Batman too. Weigh down the second orange panel to drive the Joker out of the bell as well. A little peeved, the Joker cackles to himself as he calls reinforcements in the form of a Joker helicopter!

Quickly put together the water gun (one is enough) and hose down the helicopter when it appears. Once the helicopter crash lands, the hanging platform collapses and incapacitates Harley, leaving only the Joker. Beat him silly. When he occasionally electrocutes you, switch to the other character and continue the beating.

The first LEGO canister sits behind a dumpster. Have Clayface lift the dumpster out of the way. Replace the lever on the wall with the scattered LEGO pieces; the window shutters open up and reveal an innocent civilian going about his

Two LEGO canisters are hidden among the junk in the bell tower. One's hidden behind the bell Harley was in; you'll need to have the double jump skill to reach it. Another can be gotten if you bomb the shiny object on the right side.

daily business. Unfortunately for him, the vile Riddler has the ability to mind control the poor sap and make him turn the crank in order to open the gate to the right.

Head through to the parking garage. Lift up and drag the nearest big truck forward, as far as it could go. Use it to boost you up to the LEGO canister floating in the middle of the room. Next, grab a car and plow through the orange booth in the lower right corner for another LEGO canister. Take advantage of Clayface's inhuman strength to shove the garbage truck out of the way and reveal two levers. Pull both levers to open the door and step on both floor switches.

Double jump up and grab hold of the metal bars on the blue awning. The sheer weight of Clayface causes it to fold down. Jump onto the catwalk and leap toward the fire escape ladder. Now both the Clayface and the Riddler can move into the next area on the left.

In the junkyard, remove each heavy object one after the other until Clayface grasps one of the semi-working vehicles and drags it to a vehicle pad. Switch to the Riddler and mind control the lone worker to pull the lever. A crucial component of the vehicle gets installed on the vehicle, but you must complete the rest with parts found under the debris. The fully constructed product helps you easily burst through metal gates.

FREE PLAY

Aim a Batarang at the right-hand window on the second floor, then grapple up to reach this LEGO canister. The other canister is located on the street level, behind a window; hard to miss, although you would need to set an explosive there to get behind that abnormally tough glass window.

Continue to the right in your new ride with a particular goal in destroying the shiny objects along the wall. Ditch the vehicle and use Clayface to tear the vent covering off the wall.

Build the ladder and climb to the top, keeping in mind to build a zipline for the Riddler. Head to the bank entrance rooftop to spot a guy doing some private business in the bathroom. Ideally, he'd like to be left alone, but being the sordid criminals you are you mind control him instead. Have him jump up and pull down on the orange bar, which drops the gargoyle statue to the ground.

FREE PLAY

The Sonic Suit can bring down the glass wall covering this LEGO canister. In the coming parts, you're going to need to recruit Robin's help and a high jumper. First climb the magnetic ramp, and double jump up to and grab hold of the colorful strip on the wall. Put together a vehicle and drive it to the junkyard. Park it in-between the two yellow wall panels, which is going to pulverize the vehicle and transform it into a metallic cube. However, before that happens, you need to knock out the yellow partition where the lone worker is with a Batarang. Now you can force him to use the other lever; smash the object that comes out for a red power brick.

The broken gargoyle re-assembles into a huge bomb. To set it off, though, you need more parts. Ram the police car into the shiny objects and build the detonator. Jump on the big red button to set off the bomb and break into the bank!

In addition, there are quite a few remaining LEGO canisters bunched around this particular area. One's in the alley next to the bank. Another can be found in an area to the lower left. One more rests atop a high ledge; leap from each metal bar to the next until you gain enough height to grab this. The last one remains safe and sound behind a solid—though not sound proof—wall. Sonic Suit the sucker.

Mr. Freeze is your main guy with his partner-in-crime, the Riddler. Armed with a freeze gun that can freeze annoying opponents and certain liquids, Mr. Freeze also possesses super strength—quite convenient when you need to pull the cover off the vent in the upper left corner. Ride the breeze up to the ledge up top and yank the vent covering. Proceed inside to the right and grab the LEGO canister.

The idea here is to destroy two ice cream cone-like objects to gain spare parts for a lever. Pull the lever on each side to open the door to the factory. Before heading in, visit the lower left area and replace the missing parts on the ice cream truck. Drive the truck into the nearest blue garage for another LEGO canister.

The icy slope inside proves to be far too slippery to climb up. Instead grab hold of the object in the pipe and pull it out. The object, lain slightly askew, boosts your characters up enough to reach the metal bar stretching across to the top of the slope. Hop onto the blue platform in the red liquid below and turn the glittery particles into thick, ice platforms. Hop across to as the Riddler and mind control the dude above you. Construct a crank out of the LEGO pieces and rotate it.

The water level rises along with the platforms, so now you can get up to other side. Find an orange handle for the sliding door and slide it open with Mr. Freeze.

Stand on the large box on the left, then mind control the guy inside the glass case. Collect the necessary pieces to build a lever. When he pulls the lever, the box will rise and slide to the right. Push this box further along until it crashes through the floor. If you follow a line of studs leading to the very far left, you arrive seemingly to a dead-end. But look down to find a LEGO canister just barely holding on near the bottom of the screen. Either carefully drop down to the second metal bar or suicide jump off the edge to grab it on your way down.

Descend the ladder as Mr. Freeze and move to the right until he comes upon an orange handle, which he can clench with his super strength. This lowers the tall pillar-like object in the room above and gives Riddler the chance to move past it. Climb the ladder up to meet him.

FREE PLAY

Hunt down the three large potted plants in the area. The third one requires the aid of the Sonic Suit; you'll need it to gain entry in to the enclosed glass area. Mind control the man inside and make him pull a lever for the LEGO canister to appear.

FREE PLAY

Before raising the water level, leave an explosive in front of the big circular drain for a LEGO canister. There's a magnetic ramp against the left wall. It leads straight to another canister.

While standing on the valve, mind control the guy inside the glass case and force him to stand on the valve on his end. On the other side of the glass case, construct the lever and pull it to raise the water level. Freeze the water to cross it.

A platoon of authorities await at the top and attempt to shoot you down. You have to do something about the huge fan blowing in your direction as well. Quickly put together the pieces on the floor to build a huge projectile launcher. This smashes the fan, allowing you to move forward. When close enough, mind control one of the workers and push the crate in the center down to the floor.

Build a ladder from the shards and climb to the top. Grab the LEGO canister from the left most area. Then, step on the switches in front of the pumps in this order: blue, green, yellow, and finally, red.

FREE PLAY

An Attracto machine! You know what that means. Present 25 LEGO pieces and get something good in return!

FREE PLAY

You will find that the manhole cover on top of the glass case can easily be blown off with some help from the Demolition Suit. Drop down inside and blow up the box for a LEGO canister.

Create a vehicle decorated with flowers out of the smashed LEGO debris in the middle of the patio. Ram the vehicle into the silver gates on either side, starting with the left. Progressively jump up each metal bar until you reach the top, where the LEGO canister is. The true path to your destination begins on the right-hand side, however.

Build a crank from smashing up the objects on the right side and rotate it. This activates the brown platforms, which begin to hover upwards and back down repeatedly. Boost both characters up to the balcony on the left. Since only Poison Ivy has the double jump ability, only she can cross via the metal bar to the other side. Provide a zipline for the Riddler, then pass through the toxic mist unharmed as Ivy and pull both levers in order to enter the next area.

Ivy's immunity to poison gives her a pivotal role in this area; use her ability on the empty pots to create harmless flower pads for the Riddler. The empty pot next to the enormous cage grows into a red mushroom. Jump on it for extra bounce and fling up to the second floor. Push down the golden statue, which collides into the enormous cage and breaks it instantaneously.

FREE PLAY

There is a tech panel near where you started in the level. When accessed with Robin's Technology Suit, you take control of a car in a racetrack. Pilot the car through some red flags, turning them all green to receive a LEGO canister. There's also an easy-to-miss gate in the area where you created a crank; set up a bomb to slam through the gate and launch upward into the trees by way of the grapple point to grab this LEGO canister.

Pick up the few pieces and create a mind control panel. Have the Riddler smooth talk his way into opening the gate for you guys.

A guy in the back of the wall happens to be quite susceptible to the Riddler's manipulative ways. Convince the chap to pull the lever, at which point a door on the side slides open and a bunch of pieces tumble out. In a long process, put together what essentially becomes a giant controllable plant monster. Hop in and press the attack button on the gate to the right to bust right through.

Crossing the pond is a perilous task, as it is littered with water mines. Construct a boat shaped like a swan and sail it across, keeping in mind to avoid the mines. On the other side, hop off and mind control one of the orange-clad workers. Smash the objects until you root out the source of the toxic mist and find a red valve; jump on it to open the gate.

Build a lever and gain entry into the inner greenhouse.

FREE PLAY

You need an Attract Suit. Gather up 25 LEGO pieces first. On the second floor is a gate that can be bypassed if you blow it up with an explosive. Use the tech panel shortly after dropping off the load at the Attracto machine. Pilot the robot into the opened object for a red power brick.

FREE PLAY

Set up explosives on the metal door on the left. This one leads into a room where you have to replace the colored blocks in their corresponding colored panels. Your prize is a LEGO canister.

In the greenhouse, a huge pool of toxic waste floods the center of the area. Cross it as Ivy and build the tractor, which also happens to be resistant to toxins. Ride the tractor back to the Riddler and have him use it to cross. Then, use the Riddler panel as the Riddler himself to move on.

Ivy can walk freely among the jets of poisonous gas. Have her jump on the red button on the leaf to stop the gas. Then, hit the lever and the other red button to open a hatch and stop the remainder of the gas at the same time. Follow the hatch to the other side and build an elevator. Grow some plants on the pots to use Ivy to carefully double jump up and reach the platform above. Smash the object and find the final missing pieces to the elevator. Once the elevator is complete, ride it to the top.

FREE PLAY

There is a yellow-colored drain in the pond. Drop into it with the Water Suit; Sonic Suit will get rid of the glass encasing the lever. The lever controls the fountains in the pond. On one of the fountains, you will find the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Shatter the glass box near the door with the Sonic Suit and assemble the magnetic ramp. This way you can reach the LEGO canister floating way up there.

FREE PLAY

Blow down the door on the far left with an explosive. Assemble the missing part of the magnetic ramp and push it in place with super strength. Walk up the complete ramp and drop down to grab the LEGO canister. When you pop out from the other side of the hatch, notice the big, red hot pipe. With the Heat Protection Suit on, grapple up and climb into the tunnel to swipe a LEGO canister. Past the elevator, shatter the glass door with the Sonic Suit. Swap to a Water Suit and dive into the water. An underwater button here drains the water. Advance to the next room and refill the water. Swim towards the surface to find a LEGO canister.

The goal in this room involves growing three plants in the soil in the center of the room. For that to happen, though, you need to step on the three red switches to turn on some lights to accelerate the growth. Two out of the three switches have had their battery power cut off. First, head to the left and mind control the guy at the top of the scaffold. Order him to push the statue off the edge and assemble the broken pieces into a battery. This gives power to the left side.

Navigate Ivy through the poisonous mist among the vegetation on the right side of the room. She eventually unravels pieces to a red pump. Jump on this pump repeatedly until the battery gets lifted to the very top. Both switches should now have power. Step on both and wait for the plants to sprout.

A crank built from scratch will reverse the direction of the escalators, providing you with a means up to the second floor. The objects to the left give pieces that build into a row of colored floor switches. Step on them in this order: blue, red, yellow and green to open the door.

FREE PLAY

The last LEGO canister is encased in a glass container. A little explosion will help you get it.

Climb up the ladder and build a red button. This red button floods the entire area with toxic waste. On either side of the room now you need to restore power to the locked security door. The first power generator on the right side needs to be built and slid into the indented niche. The second one, on the left, simply needs to be reassembled. Only Two-Face can swim through this toxic muck.

If you mind control the worker in the other room and have him pull the lever, a metal canister emerges from the waste. Hop in the canister to find a LEGO canister.

In here, you get to assemble a robot, but you must first mind control the technician in the back room and have him operate the tech panel. Once control of the robot has been handed over, lumber past the laser fields and crash into the security panel. This destroys the laser fields altogether.

Moving into the large room activates a wall of lasers—you can't go anywhere, but you don't have to either! Climb up the

Inside the glass display cases, which can be accessed with the help of the Sonic Suit, smash the objects to build some levers. These levers will raise the green platforms in the room up, creating some steps leading up to the high-flying LEGO canister above. Similarly, use the Sonic Suit on the glass doors to the right and construct a robotic mutt. Take it to the door with the green blinking light, which grants you passage into another room. Access the tech panel, and you will be brought to a maze. Navigate through the maze successfully for a LEGO canister. At the top of the escalators, a door stands slightly ajar, and you could just make out the glimmering LEGO canister inside. Prying it open would require some work. Blow up the black object next to the door and build a valve. Jump on it repeatedly, and the door eventually opens. Use the Sonic Suit, too, on the somewhat obvious glass window partitioning the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Blow up the metal gate next to the tech panel and head in to start building a helicopter. Tap the tech panel to control your creation. Fly it to the large spinning fan on the wall and nab the LEGO canister.

metal bars to the top floor and smash the yellow part to disable the lasers below. Pull the lever to gain access to a hovercraft. Ride the hovercraft around the glass dome in the center, over the red buttons encompassing the dome. The bridge in the back snaps into place; cross to smash another yellow panel to shut down the right laser field.

In this final room, head to the left and force the worker to do your bidding by pulling the red lever. A platform rises to the surface, bringing with it a couple of parts. Build these, and move to the right side. Smash through the door and wade through the toxins as Two-Face. Pull the lever as well to bring up another platform filled with spare parts. Once these parts are stacked together, step on the colored floor switches in this order: yellow, red and green. More parts arrive. Be sure to grab the LEGO canister from the back of the room as well.

The parts come together and form a tall robot. Board the giant robot and trash the eight red, spiral tubes.

FREE PLAY

Before the laser field area, shoot the vent cover to pry it open, then double jump into it to collect the LEGO canister. Afterwards, channel sound waves into the glass door and head in. Build the object and slip it into the suction tube. The object will reappear at a later time and help you get a LEGO canister. Set up a bomb on the metal door. Demolish the place inside and build a projector kind of object, which lets you go through a door. Step on the button and light the panels up in a certain order to get a red power brick. Another LEGO canister can be gotten with the Heat Protection Suit.

The enemies tend to be a bit more aggressive and annoying in this level. Head to the far right and force the poor technician to build a dynamite and detonator behind the fence. Step on the switch a couple of times to blow the fence open. Now the criminal masterminds can head in and finish building the bulldozer. Drive the bulldozer and slam it into the long, blue container just outside the fence. Climb the metal bars upward.

At the top, assemble the little power station and slide it toward the bigger object. This juices up the generator in the center, but you realize that you must do the same to the other side. Drop down and head across to the other side. A big padlock on the ladder poses a small obstacle, but that can simply be shot down with Two-Face's pistol. Climb up and push the assembled power station into the appropriate slot.

The object in the center crumbles away and releases parts. What can be built this time? Turns out the Riddler's invested in a bigger, better mind control device that amplifies his mind control ability for use on bigger objects, such as the helicopter. Use the helicopter's terrific firepower to blast away the front entrance. Sight three security cameras and destroy those as well for a bonus LEGO canister.

To the right of the bank entrance, you should see some road barricades. Move against the railing and spot the big leaf. Jump onto the leaf and proceed down. Pick up the LEGO canister and construct a ladder from the twitching LEGO pieces to return to the top.

Inside the bank, build two cranks and turn both to raise up wall partitions. Mind control the dude and drag him to the other room. Pull the lever to swing open the gates, out of which come pouring a good number of armed officers.

Destroy the green panel on the wall to slide open the gate. Build a big block from the pieces found within and push it along the lined out pathway. Moving into the next area, assemble a crank and leave Two-Face in the elevator. With the Riddler, rotate the crank to manually lift Two-Face to the second floor. Quickly come out as Two-Face and shoot down the big padlock on the door. Pull the revealed lever, which lowers a ladder for the Riddler. Mind control the guy, pull the lever and move on to the next area.

You need to destroy a total of three green panels to bring down the laser field blocking your way. Aside from the two obvious ones in front, there is one more easily missed along the left wall. Pull the lever and push the container out. Smash the equipment inside the opened gate to stop the toxic gas. Step on both red valves with both characters, thus removing the immediate laser field. Fire off a few shots at the green panel in the distance to disable the last one as well.

FREE PLAY

Shatter the glass with the Sonic Suit to have free access to the Attracto machine. Collect 25 LEGO pieces and hand them in to the machine. Assemble the magnetic strip along the wall and walk it to the LEGO canister. Flip over each of the three paintings in the hall with the Batarang and assemble the lever, which grants another LEGO canister.

Near the crank is a bookcase. Grip the orange handle and toss the bookcase aside to find a LEGO canister. After pocketing the canister, break the glass with the Sonic Suit and shoot the panel to deactivate lasers. The only thing left between you and a red power brick is the vault door that can be easily blown up.

Fight your way into the toxin-filled room nearby and pull the lever. In the center, build an object that launches you upward to an alcove. Push the block over the edge for a lever. After pulling the lever, mind control the only guy here. Your goal is to nudge him toward the other room. First build a ladder to get out of this current one; then build a crank, which raises the gate separating the two rooms. Drop down into the other room and pull the lever there.

Gather up the LEGO pieces and begin production of something very cool. Hop into the completed robot and essentially power your way into the vault.

FREE PLAY

No doubt you saw the LEGO canister trapped in a small container. You will need a little explosive power to free this one. Scattered around the room are four golden animal statues; crush all four in order to receive another canister. However, you need to have the Joker to get to one of them, and another is stored away behind bars on the left wall.

One of the LEGO canisters is placed in a box within the mind-controlled civilian area. You need some explosives. The second one sits high above to the left of the vault. First, you must crack open the glass box. Throw together a magnetic ramp and take it to the box containing the LEGO canister. Crash it to the floor to get it.

Named thus for a reason, the Penguin arms himself with penguin bombs that walk toward the direction Penguin faces until it hits something and triggers detonation. Point a bomb at the wired fence on the right side. It should give way and let you walk into the next area, where you will be met with much hostility. Blast open the shiny garage door and haul the big rigg outside. Repair the rigg in several places before it can properly function. Toss the police vehicle out of the way. Drive the rigg to very right, running over gates and whatnot, until you reach a parking pad in the far corner. This opens into the next area.

You may notice that in your path to destruction you come upon red fuel tanks that open up into carrots. There are three of these dispersed through the area. Pinpoint the three and nab the LEGO canister. Also, after dropping off the van and opening the door, if you head to the far right on the docks, you'll come upon a docked speedboat with an orange handle. Yank off the top to uncover this LEGO canister.

A large orange structure has been placed over a parking panel next to the long red container. Grab the structure as Bane, who immediately chucks the structure away like bad meat. Now you can park a second truck onto this pad and reward yourself with another LEGO canister.

Smash the objects up in the corner to forge a fan. Ride the breeze up to the catwalk above and glide across the sizable gap as the Penguin, who pops open his umbrella to keep him aloft a little longer—perfect for gliding. Smash the red and white object to throw down a ladder for the meaty Bane. When Bane rejoins the Penguin, have him toss the dumpster out of the way. Drop down at the end.

Bane happens to be immune to poison as well. Unplug the drain in the center of the toxic sludge to remove the goo. On the ship's side, unleash penguin bombs onto the shiny objects to raise a handle, allowing Bane to ease the ship forward. A ramp leading into the ship drops, and you can cross it to the other side of the docks.

Hopefully, you have been hitting water cannons situated by the peer. There are five of them total. Two of them before the ship and the last three are after the ship. You get a LEGO canister for destroying the last one.

FREE PLAY

Nurture one of Ivy's plants in the empty pot on the catwalk. The plant blooms into a fully grown stalk and lets you reach the thin catwalk that wraps around the building and toward the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

A heart booth here. This calls for a seductress! Synthesize a crank from loose LEGO pieces, but instead of pushing it in from the green side, lean against the red side. Slip a penguin bomb through the gap, aiming for the shiny box. You will need to let it ricochet off the walls and eventually towards the box. Success nets you a red power brick.

On the other side of the ship, steer a penguin bomb into the gate with all the colorful containers. Work your way to the exit under the staircase.

The primary objective is to get the caged lift in the center functional again, and doing so would require a power source. Again, the power source is split into two places. Simply flip the lever on the right side to get one side working. For the other, move to the left and throw the lever here. A crane lift delivers a special crate over, which you need to smash and repair the circuitry. Head across the water, making sure to grab the LEGO canister under the cluster of lily pads, and pull the lever to get the lift working again.

After getting off the lift, opt to head left first and balance across a narrow beam to a LEGO canister. Return to the lift and head right. Deploy a penguin bomb through the purple partition and build from the dropped LEGO pieces.

FREE PLAY

Have the Joker interact with the generator, then use the tech panel to operate some ships. See them safely through to the end for a LEGO canister. After bypassing the heart booth with a female character, go around absorbing 25 LEGO pieces in the Attract Suit and insert them in the Attracto machine. Smash open the product to find a nice surprise.

Hitch a joyride on the fan breeze to the upper level of the rooftop and fashion together a zipline. It's not complete yet; float across as the Penguin to the other side and finish the zipline. Punch one of three martini glass neon lights that is against this building here. After punching all three, you earn a LEGO canister. The row of fans here tend to blow you clear off the path, so in order to pass through drop to the level below and follow the line of studs to a lever that renders the fans inoperative. Take advantage of the Catwoman's seductive skills on the heart booth to get past the gate.

Double jump up and assemble a box just to push it off the edge. The crashed box offers pieces for the fan on the ground. Fix the fan for Penguin. With the Penguin, send a penguin bomb into the shiny objects to spill ladder parts. Climb up to the helipad to encounter a rather hostile police helicopter. Stand by one of the red buttons; when the button turns green, the fan next to it starts spinning, sending a steady breeze upward into the air.

The key is that the lifting power of the fan can launch up small objects, including the rather chunky explosive it attempts to drop on you. If you stand in one area, the doofus pilot will likely hover just above the fan. It drops a blue flare, followed by a bomb. Be sure the fan is spinning when this happens to bat the bomb right back at the helicopter until the three hearts of the helicopter have been depleted.

Build a ladder leading out of this rooftop. Search the back of the huge skylight for a LEGO canister. Locate the two white valves flanking a colorful machine of some type. Directly in front of this contraption is a lower ledge with a LEGO canister on it as well. The fan on the side gets up and running again; riding it to the top, only Catwoman can reach the next rooftop due to her double jump. No matter though because she can easily assemble a crank to hoist the Penguin up as well.

Bash through the boarded up niche in a small balcony below to find a lever, which flips the big fan on its side, redirecting the breeze upward. Take the breeze to the upper rooftop and pull the two levers with both characters. Now you can push the gargoyle statue down and crash it through to the museum.

So much for a low profile entrance—with the guards all rushing to meet you and laser fields up, it's up to Catwoman to jump up to the metal bar on the right and shimmey past the laser field. Destroy the green box to deactivate the lasers and continue to the right.

A purple-bordered opening cues the Penguin to deploy a penguin bomb into the area. With the machine blown up, the gates squeak open, giving you access to the lever in there. The lever powers down the laser fields guarding the dinosaur exhibit. Head back to the dinosaurs. You can ride them! Take either the swift or slow, but powerful dinosaur and ravage the boxes within the room for a LEGO canister.

Back in the room with the Attracto machine and where you pulled the lever earlier, park the dinosaur near the glass wall. Leap off the dinosaur and over the glass wall as the Penguin to end up on the other side of it. Jump on each orange

Climb the magnetic ramp up the rooftop to the left of the statue to find a LEGO canister.

Shove the heavy object to the left when you first enter the museum into the lasers to refract them. Kick down the back door to find another box; pull this out and bring it to the left to again get past lasers. Double jump over the last laser field, activate the lever and penetrate the glass covering with the Sonic Suit to receive your LEGO canister.

switch, then bomb the glass case in the center to attain the red power brick. Proceed to rampage through the museum halls, tearing through the barricade of boxes on the far right.

Climb up the metal bars and onto the staircase. Move to the left and smash the object in the corner for crank pieces. Turn the crank to start slowly shifting a statue to the left. When it comes into contact with the first set of lasers, the lasers are temporarily refracted, allowing your partner to head through and deactivate them. Continue sliding the statue to create a gap in the second set of lasers. The third set is low enough to just jump over; destroy the power supply to remove the lasers altogether.

Move to the far left of the big exhibit and double jump up to the ladder. Smash the painting at the top to extend the ladder and drop it down. Behind the bigger painting you will find a lever that moves the deflector in the big glass case in the center. Good. Glide across the gap as Penguin to the other side and throw the other switch. The deflectors should be in place. When the Penguin slips a bomb through the gap and into the case, the penguin bomb will find its mark and blow the case up.

FREE PLAY

Heave the heavy statue out of the way to the right of the top of the staircase and double jump up to the ladder. Follow the beams to the left and to this LEGO canister. The other LEGO canister is suspended in a wooden cage in the exhibit room. Use the Sonic Suit on the glass cases to assemble a catapult device and pull the lever to get it.

The Penguin's submarine can borrow torpedoes from the purple torpedo dispenser. Now armed with torpedoes, target the security turrets guarding the gates and gun it down. Head through the opened gate and sink the turret in front of the other gate. Before heading through, however, there are a few LEGO canisters to collect around here. First, launch a torpedo at the object drifting amongst the green sludge in the corner. Located around this area are three orange silo things; shoot them up to gain this canister.

Speed toward the purple gate in the back and submerge the submarine to dive under and past the gate. Hit the red switch first as the submarine, then switch to the croc's boat to hit the other one among the toxic sludge. Load up a few torpedoes and aim for the three yellow canisters lodged in the polluted water. Use the croc's swift boat to leap off of the ramp and catch some serious air as well as the LEGO canister. As well, blow up all the docked ships in search of the LEGO canister in the corner. Afterwards, remove all of the polluted water to reach the two turrets guarding the gate.

Access the other torpedo dispenser here to demolish the turrets and move on. Head into the small patch of toxic waste for a LEGO canister. Hit the red switches on either side to slide open the gates. Deliver torpedoes to each of three turrets to move forward. Be sure to hit all five of the buoys located around this area for a LEGO canister.

Going into the next area pits you against a police hovercraft that's fully decked out and supported by dozens and dozens of annoying boat peons. Slap the red switch in the back left corner to open access to the torpedo dispenser in the back. Hit the yellow objects in the toxic waste with torpedoes and dive near the docks to add another LEGO canister to your collection. Gather up more torpedo firepower and proceed to hit all the targets on the boat until a spotlight appears. Run through the spotlight to tag a target reticule onto your own boat, but sail to the big hovercraft. Luckily, the disabled

Alas, this LEGO canister calls for a return with the Batboat. Clip a mine to the boat and drag it to the two devices flanking the gate on the right to bring it down.

Bring the Batboat to the area where the three turrets were. Hitch two mines and slam them into the shiny objects on the right wall for a LEGO canister.

friendly fire works to your advantage, and the enemy missiles will end up hitting their own people.

Trudge through the slime toward the back of the room, where you discover the power generator seems to be missing many parts. Luckily, there happens to plenty of spare parts within the objects around. Repair the generator and throw the switch to inject power to the machine-operated door. That's only one side; in order to power up the other side, Croc needs to yank off the door to the left. Glide across the water as Penguin and pull the lever here.

Notice the shiny manhole cover on your back to the door. Bomb it open with a penguin bomb and drop down as Croc. You will find a LEGO canister on the very right.

The next room is a fun one. Whatever colored pipe you jump into, you pop out of the same corresponding pipe elsewhere. Slip into the yellow pipe, assemble this half of the zipline and glide across to complete the other half. Take the green pipe and bore a hole into the wall to unveil the red pipe. Take the red pipe to the other side and rip the heavy door off the wall. Simple!

All the objects, including the metal bars on the left, in the sewer water below contribute to building a giant crocodile craft. Once it comes to life, hitch a ride on its back and plow through the sewers, causing mayhem among the workers. Destroy five green boxes for a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

The multi-colored wall on the right budges only when Robin's powerful boat launches a volley of missiles at it. When the wall finally caves, head on in and take both the red power brick and LEGO canister within.

Rip off the grate covering the penguin bomb gap and dive into the sewer pipe as Croc. As he is not a strong swimmer, you may need to vigorously tap the jump button and wiggle the control stick around to get Croc to reach the ladder. Once he's out, yank off the other grate cover. Then, send a penguin bomb through to destroy the shiny objects above. The explosion yields a couple of parts for a fan; ride it up to the ladder. In the bathroom (police officers like to all be in there at the same time?), bust the left most toilet to reveal a LEGO canister. An unlikely place, indeed...

The scuff marks on the floor indicate that something has been dragged along this floor before. Kick down the door to your right and drag the hefty safe out, following the marks on the floor. Hop atop it and climb over to the fenced-in area. Step on the valve to open the way to the next area.

FREE PLAY

At the end of the enjoyable crocodile ride, hop off and head up the left staircase. Shatter the glass door and throw the lever. The once smooth slope surface staggers into a staircase, allowing you to take them up to the LEGO canister in the room above.

FREE PLAY

The seemingly invincible water cooler in the bathroom easily crumbles before the Sonic Suit. Build the leftover pieces into a projectile launcher. Head past the broken mirrors and lug the heavy box on the left to the right. Grapple up, glide across, and access the green panel. This activates the elevator; glide back across to obtain a red power brick.

FREE PLAY

Deliver 25 LEGO pieces to the Attracto machine for a LEGO canister. Stand at the booth with a mind-controlling character to gain access to the lower level. Here, you need to take three vehicles and park them on their specific pads. Set the van in the left pad. As Mr. Freeze, freeze the water puddle, then ride the bike to the far right. The patrol car belongs in the middle pad. Keep in mind that the van and patrol car need to be built from the surrounding objects. For your efforts, you get a LEGO canister.

In the jail, lift away the right jail door and smash the objects inside to build a fan. Use it to reach the second floor. Activate the lever to free all the prisoners and bomb the shiny door.

Climb the ladder on the right and glide across to hit a switch. Build the dropped pieces into a good old fashioned bomb. To the right of Catwoman's cell is a LEGO canister that you must get before roll the volatile explosive down the stairs to break into Catwoman's holding cell.

Make your way to the right until a huge block of ice that only Catwoman can climb up blocks your path. Stack the ladder rungs for Penguin to climb up. Glide across the gap to the right and cross the platforms. Certain rickety platforms plummet to the icy water below, but this also allows Catwoman to join you on this side. Station Penguin atop of the big fan and switch to Catwoman. Pull the lever below; when the breeze starts blowing, immediately switch back to Penguin and hug the wall with the penguin bomb gap.

A series of magnetic strips along the left wall lead up to this LEGO canister.

Now that Penguin has proper footing, send a penguin bomb through the gap, which slides down and tumbles over a block of ice. The ice block shatters, freeing the items within. Jump up to the two other ice blocks as Catwoman and push them off the edge as well. Notice the bomb confined within the ice. Crash a penguin bomb into it, which sets off the bomb inside as well. Assemble all the loose pieces together now for a snow plow.

As the name of the vehicle suggests, you can now easily plow through the huge walls of ice blocking your way. But first, run it into the small ice cubes lying next to the red air pump on the left. Place these new pieces on the air pump, then jump on the pump multiple times to inflate the bridge to the left. The flattened bridge allows you to drive the snow plow across to the big wall of ice. Park the plow on the platform, then pull the lever to lift the plow up and batter down the ice clogging up the exit.

FREE PLAY

In the beginning, head down and to the left. Swim through the toxic sludge and use the Attract Suit to gather up 25 LEGO pieces and turn them in to the Attracto machine. In exchange, you begin to play a neat fishing game. Once you beat it, you get the red power brick. With the Water Suit, search for a lever located under a thin sheet of ice opens the door to the ice cream shop with the LEGO canister inside.

As you hopped across the platforms as Penguin, this LEGO canister gleaming behind a glass wall should've caught your attention. Use the Sonic Suit on the glass to grab it.

Inside the building, place the missing tiles in the checker-patterned floor and move the lamp post along the path. When it reaches the end, the heat of the light emanating from the lamp melts the ice blocking the heart booth. Chat up the timid male, who upon seeing Catwoman gladly opens the ornately-decorated door between the two penguin statues.

Proceed into the next area, which turns out to be one wild and fun ride down a slippery ice slope. There are five flagged stations on the way down; if you can pass through each by the end, you earn a LEGO canister. This is no simple task! You have only this one shot to try (unless you restart the level).

The last area should definitely be familiar if you've already played through the heroes portion. First things first, a LEGO canister floats high near the lower left of the area. Guide a penguin bomb into the shiny circular object. You may have to set it so that the penguin bomb runs repeatedly into the wall until it blows up, taking the object with it. Build a bouncy thing and leap straight up to grab it.

The objective here is to direct the lasers into the four purple panels. Get started with the laser on the left. The other laser is currently locked down in a ice cube. The way to get around that involves getting red-flagged in the spotlight. Once

To the right of where the snow plow was first built is the end of a ski slope. Blow up the shiny black object next to the caged booth. Install the orange handle on cage and tear off the cover with inhuman strength. Charm the guy in the booth and convince him to start up the ski lifts. Grapple up and begin your descent in fun, skiing fashion! You are allotted a certain amount of time to get through the slopes. Be victorious and receive a LEGO canister. Flanking the right side of the first area's exit is a magnetic ramp leading to the top. Remove the cover off of the generator and have the Joker use it. Use the grapple point and be whisked away to the LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Use the Sonic Suit to and break all the glass on the counters to pick up a LEGO canister. Across the pool of toxic waste, pull out the block with the orange handle and leave it on any one of the three buttons. The other two characters need to stand on the remaining two buttons to obtain the LEGO canister.

spotted, the cops barge in as well as drop a bomb on you. Stand near the frozen laser popsicle, and the proximity of the explosion should clean the ice off the right-hand laser.

After all four purple panels have been activated, it's time for the grand finale! Take Catwoman to the right to find a red and green switch situated far above a normally reachable distance. Double jump and grab hold. The silver ramp transforms into some steps, allowing the Penguin to step up to the top floor. Wrap all the way around to the very right to find zipline pieces. Once Catwoman reunites with the Penguin, pull both of the red levers at the same time.

A crazy duo, Harley and Joker must rely on each other to overcome many of the physical obstacles, as this part keeps them separated the entire way through. As Harley, go up to the metal bars and to the second floor. Harley will run through the upper path while the Joker stays on the path below. Whenever either character is stopped by an obstacle of some sort, it usually means the other character must build, push something or jump on something to free up the path. You will need to switch back and forth between the two characters to get past this funhouse.

Before dropping down as Harley when you reach the end, smash the glass mosaic to get a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

This LEGO canister sits in a cage suspended in the air on the right side. Using Mr. Freeze's freeze cannon, create an ice block on the tiles. Push it near the lever on the higher ground and double jump to it from the block. Pull the lever and blow up the cage with the canister inside. Making sure you have the water suit, dive into the water at the bottom end of the screen. One LEGO canister is caught in a huge chunk of ice.

At the beginning of the level, push the heavy object against the wall on the right and use it to hoist a double jumping character up to the LEGO canister. After getting out of the funhouse, bash down the boards covering the doorway and set an explosive on the shiny metal bars to the left. Help out the hostage and create a lever, which gives up a LEGO canister when pulled. When you return to this level with Mr. Freeze, look for glimmering puddles and use the freeze gun to turn them into ice cream cones. There are three of them total. The last one, however, is located in the last portion of the level, in an area sectioned off to the left. Smash the objects in the area and construct a water squirt

Head all the way to the right, and use Joker's buzzer to power up the generator next to the small hut. Get in the ferris wheel carrier and have the other character step on the pump in the hut. Jump out onto the rollercoaster track and move to the switch on the left to bring the other character up if you want. The LEGO canister leaning against the steeper incline of the track can be recovered with a well-timed double jump. Follow the coaster track into the tunnel on the right.

Slide down. Whee! Double jump up to the ladder and knock it down for the Joker. Jump across to the electric generator on the right and power it up with the Joker. After taking the yellow platform up, erect a tall standing platform and a zipline. Shimmy across the zipline and place metal bars along the side of the rollercoaster. Ascend the side and have Harley double jump up to the lever.

When the Joker meets up with Harley, have him jump to the generator and power it up. A rollercoaster rockets past and into the rubble blocking the tunnel entrance.

Normally, you'd have to do a couple of things to find out the proper color sequence on the buttons on the very right, but the awesome thing about using an IGN guide is that we have already done the work for you. Jump on the buttons in this order: blue, red, yellow, to fire up the lever. The lever, in turn, opens the gate to the right. Presto! Before heading through, you might want to drive the ice cream truck into the garage next to the staircase if you want a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

From the rollercoaster track, jump to the catwalk with three doors. Throw the lever on the right to open a couple of doors. Pull the levers inside both doors; you may need to clear the purple jack-in-the-box to reach the other lever. The door above a nearby grapple point swings open, and inside is none other than a LEGO canister!

FREE PLAY

There is a sharp shiny object on the platform with the ladders. Blow this object up and create a grapple point from scratch. After grappling up, walk up the magnetic ramp to this LEGO canister. If you glide across from the generator, you reach a grapple point. Sling yourself up to the top, blow up the shiny objects in the way and go claim your red power brick.

Just a heads up.

Throw a few punches at Commission Gordon to scare him off, then fire up the generator to get the crane up and running. When the reinforcements arrive, jump in the crane and move it by pushing left and right on the control stick. Position over the wagon full of extremely deadly pink stuffed animals and lower the crane into it, grabbing one. Swing the crane over the van and drop the fluffy item of impending doom. Gordon returns with a vengeance, so thwack him in the head a few times. Repeat.

While you're flying through the level, stay on the lookout for orange-colored water towers and blast them. There are ten in all; when the tenth one is destroyed, a LEGO canister pops out. Similarly, located throughout are five police helicopters that begin to take off as you approach. Put these nuisances out of commission before they leave the landing pad (easily distinguished by the four red poles surrounding it) to receive a red power brick.

Unveil the mine dispenser and switch to the helicopter to tow the mine. Drag it over to the right until a reticule appears over the intended target and let the mine float towards it. As you enter the next section, latch onto the tower with the red

FREE PLAY

Pay up 25 LEGO pieces to the Attracto machine here and drive the trucks into their corresponding colored areas. All this for a LEGO canister. Then, head to the second story in the back and sink down the tank (with all the yellow duckies floating on top) to seize the LEGO canister.

roof and fly away as far as you can to strip away the tower, revealing a LEGO canister underneath.

Fill up some missiles for the biplane and focus fire on the big anti-aircraft turret. When hit, the turret goes a little bonkers and accidentally shoots down the barricade, doing you a huge favor. A window next to the anti-aircraft turret can be broken into with help from a mine. Head back and tow one over to it. Release the giant balloons inside and pop them one-by-one to snag another LEGO canister. Continue right.

Head straight for the clock tower on the very right and pummel it with a shower of bullets until it explodes into pieces. Grab a mine from the purple colored dispenser nearby and drag the mine over to the container with lights in the lower left corner. Blow it up to reveal a LEGO canister. Continue more to the right and wear down the orange wall until the metal support beams underneath lay bare. Drag a mine to the beams to completely destroy them.

Toward the bottom of the screen, shoot down the green billboard to uncover a small area behind it with a LEGO canister in the corner. Also, if you shoot the purple billboards located around and flip them around

In this battle against a battle helicopter, head to the left and plow through the billboard. On the other side, you will find a mine dispenser as well as a dispenser for Batwing missiles. Pick up a mine and drop it off at the containers with different colored lights. Destroying each brings up an anti-aircraft turret. Switch to the biplane and dump a missile onto the turret. Unable to distinguish friend from foe, the turret starts shooting the helicopter, damaging it.

FREE PLAY

As the Batwing, access some missiles from the missile dispenser marked by the famed Batman insignia, then return to the very beginning to find a large gate also painted with the bat symbol. Bombard the gate with missiles to open it and proceed to fire away at the four red objects. Then, sling the tow cable at the red dot for a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Take the Batwing and fire up a missile at the crane with the bat symbol on it. Then use the Batcopter to grapple the rest of the things to uncover a LEGO canister. Shoot the three purple billboards (they spin around) and the objects that appear by them to claim a LEGO canister.

When both turrets are gone, only then can you start peppering the helicopter with your own guns.

First order of business: build the generator; it's not exactly fully functional yet, so push the two pillars atop the steps nearby to uncover a lever. With the Scarecrow, pull the lever, which raises the electric generator only halfway. Have Joker power it up and cover the rest of the distance to the top. Leap off and head around the top floor. The goal is to unclip the chandelier from the two hinges holding it to the ceiling. Smash the controls on both sides for it to send the chandelier crashing to the floor, breaking a couple of things in the process. (A little chaos never hurt anyone...)

Assemble the wooden ramp up to the big double doors. Convince the lad inside the booth to open the doors for you; he simply can't say no to the Scarecrow. As you make your way through the gallery, keep a lookout for three unique cases and smash them up for a LEGO canister. The first one was back in the first big hall.

FREE PLAY

Break through the gate with the bat symbol and take a mine to the cage for a LEGO canister. Using the Batwing, unleash your rage upon the area directly in the back with all the red and white car cutouts. Cause enough mayhem to cause a train wreck as well. Grapple a mine with the Batcopter and bring it to the shiny part of the train to get a LEGO canister.

On the way up the steps, fire at the security panel behind the lasers with the Joker to shut them down. Grab the LEGO canister and continue up. Aim for the LEGO pieces that assemble into a crank and rotate it. Power up the generator and head through the unlocked door.

Upon entering, a high tech security camera dispenses a huge puff of toxic gas that lingers around the exit and the top of the stairs. Luckily, the Joker can withstand the sweet smell of the poison, so have him head up the stairs and to the right. Follow the path up to the top, where you will find pieces to build into a fan. This fan causes only some of the gas to dissipate, so you need to build another to remove the rest.

Move now to the left of the stairs and hit the switch. Bash the fuse box to short-circuit the laser machinery. Bash the blue and white tiles to loosen them up, and use them to complete the checker-patterned floor. Push the heavy object along the floor so that the Scarecrow can now lend a hand.

At the top, place the metal bars in the proper spots and have one character jump up and onto the top of the tall pillar. The other character proceeds to push the pillar toward the right. Jump off and build this fan to open the door.

FREE PLAY

Plant explosives at the base of the gargoyle statue on the right and assemble the lever. Then step on both buttons simultaneously to collect a LEGO canister. Before heading through the first big double doors, venture more to the right and double jump up to the higher level platform. Set an explosive at the metal door and, with the Heat Protection Suit, brave the searing hot air to find a hostage. If you want a red power brick, you will also need to push the colored blocks into the appropriate spot that matches the color of the fruit with the color of the block.

FREE PLAY

With a double jump character, jump up to the tall platform on the left and push the statue down. From this, you get a LEGO canister.

You need the Sonic Suit to be able to acquire the LEGO canister from the glass display case in the center.

The elevator requires power. Smash the paintings along the right wall to enable the lever above. Break the gargoyle statues to build a crank. As Scarecrow, rotate the crank to lower the platform, at which point the Joker hops on. Install the metal bars on the wall and hop across to the lever. Upon hitting the lever, a bunch of LEGO pieces tumble out of the chutes. Judging by the color, the pieces create a Joker generator, which juices up the elevator.

Assemble a base board, which stacks against the barrels and helps you overcome the fence. Climb up the tower of crates and double jump to the LEGO canister. After pulling the lever on the right, push the box along the floor until it reaches the end. Move to the electric generator and turn it on to transport the box to the other side. Pull the lever again for another box and transport it over as well. It will come out the other side as a LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

Get a super strong character to batter down the wall on the left. Inside is a LEGO canister. In the lower right corner of the area, a pipe with very hot steam blows continuously upon a lever. If properly outfitted, say with the Heat Protection Suit, you can activate this lever. Proceed to blow up the shiny metal gates in the center, as well as use the Sonic Suit to remove the glass. Once you finish building your creation, you are rewarded with a LEGO canister.

Sink into the toxic filled area and bash up the objects here. Create a box from the scraps and pull the lever to lift it up. You now have two boxes that you may or may not know what to do with. Ah, but you do.

Jump into the orange control area to begin operating the crane. Pick up each box and load them atop the two orange panels on the floor. The bridge extends to Scarecrow, and he can now proceed to persuade the guy in the booth to let them leave.

A perfectly aligned pile of flaming debris blocks off the rest of the street. In order to get around it, you first need to build a fan to scoop yourself up to the fire escape of the apartment. Follow the balcony until you get to a point where you can go no more. Just ahead, a few SWAT team members perched on the opposite balcony continually assault you with bullets. That's no good.

Get rid of them by shooting your own guns, then glide over to the balcony and assemble a zipline for the Joker. Power up the generator to flip the awning up and use it to carefully reach the catwalk. Glide across and push the purple box over the edge. It smashes into parts that eventually form a manually detonated explosive. After constructing the bomb, hop on the switch to blow a hole through the road barricade.

FREE PLAY

Back on the other side of the fence, near the elevator, double jump up to the lever handle to open the shutters below. Mind control the civilian inside and force him to do your bidding. Who ever said crime doesn't pay? Certainly, they never got a LEGO canister for it.

The Lure of the Night

FREE PLAY

After flattening out the awning, double jump to the twitching LEGO pieces bouncing atop the dark, filtering vent. The pieces help you get to the rooftop, where a hostage is getting harassed and LEGO canisters to be found. Blow up the shining object and build it into a sprinkler of some sort. Turn it on to grow some flowers, then smash them. Assemble the resulting pieces. Afterwards, glide across to the other rooftop and build the crate. Shove this off the roof to release the canister. In a room below the rooftop madness, a guy who's probably minding his own business can be mind controlled and be coerced to wallop the objects in the back. Climb over the room partition and slide the box out. Blow it up to flush out the prize, a LEGO canister.

Rush headlong into the heat of the battle against the cops. Move onward to the halfway complete ladder, and finish placing the rest of the rungs to climb to the generator at the top. Power up the generator and ride the gray platform. Cross the bridge with the choice of avoiding fights by going under the broken boards.

Move towards the back and jump up to grab the metal bar. Killer Moth should step on the purple button to raise you up. Shimmey over and drop into the enclosed area. When you power up the generator, a bunch of LEGO pieces pour out of a door. These pieces assemble into a helicopter, which not only can be used to cause calamity beyond normal comprehension but also shoot down these red fire hydrants. Hit five of them in all in order to cash in on a LEGO canister.

Proceed to the very right and ram a random police vehicle into the playground gate. Head to the very far left corner to find colorful monkey bars and a LEGO canister from behind the pole. Add a few more pieces to repair it and use it to climb up the pole. Swing to the far right tree, roll the ladder down and push down the gnome statue. The remains of the statue assemble into a crank, which only the Joker can push.

FREE PLAY

Chuck the heavy containers and assemble the pieces into a crank. Turn the crank to set a raft in the water. Sail around in a counter-clockwise fashion three times to receive this LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

There are some magnetic ramp pieces lying on the ground next to the flaming debris. Put them up on the wall and climb up to a LEGO canister.

In the next area, wade through the green slime to the big box in the center and glue on all the LEGO pieces around it. Step on the lever in front, and out pops a...giant robot! LEGOs and robots—always a cool combination. Hop in the sweet ride and start laying waste to all the obstructions in your path, including the persistent Commissioner Gordon. Not quite satisfied with the last beating, is he?

Simply go and crush the long reinforcement carrier vans underfoot to showcase the awesome might of your robot.

FREE PLAY

On your way to the playground gates, you will zoom past a warehouse barred by a heavy-duty metal door. Plant explosives to bust it open and step on the two yellow buttons inside to reach the LEGO canister sitting up top. A keen eye will spot the red power brick suspended high in the air on the left side of the playground. To get it, tip the Attracto machine with 25 LEGO pieces. Have Ivy super grow them and then double jump to the brick.

FREE PLAY

Blow up the metal door located before the robot box to find a LEGO canister within. You need the Water Suit for this last LEGO canister. After meeting up with Gordon and his cohorts, stampede through the mess and bust down the gate to a huge water tank. Leap from the robot into the tank and sink to the bottom. Hit the red buttons to empty the tank of water, then borrow the Sonic Suit powers to penetrate the glass grate.

To the right of the altar, you will find a Joker generator. Power it up and create a small red object. Push it over to the left and the object extends upwards, providing a boost to the low statue on the left. Harley has the proper acrobatics to scale the ledges above. Remove the pesky cops and fix a zipline to cross to the generator. Throw down the ladder for Mr. J and activate a lift.

Carefully navigate your way around the narrow catwalks and double jump toward the crowd of cops in the openings. Set up a zipline for the Joker and proceed to power the generator. Another lift with two buttons descends—you know the drill. Leap off of it to the left, past the LEGO canister in the cage (you'll have to come back for it). Standing at the very edge with Harley, double jump carefully with perfect precision to reach a catwalk with a hostage and a LEGO canister. Double back to the lift and jump off to the right this time.

In the very lower left corner, use Ivy's power of super growth on the pots and climb up her plant progeny to the LEGO canister. From the fallen pillar, jump to the scaffold in front of the LEGO canister placed behind the glass panel. Use the Sonic Suit to break it free. Bring a super strong character to the altar and slide it over to unveil another LEGO canister. Take the staircase on the right to the top, where the camera angles toward chandeliers. Batarang them down and put together a machine. Scrub all the splattered, painted markings on the floor to stuff another red power brick in your pocket.

Quickly cross the collapsing bridge. You will build some vertically hanging poles, but need to cross to finish the product—just a hanging platform. With this, though, the Joker can cross and work his magic on the generator.

The routine should be familiar here: basically, you need to ring both bells on either side to break open the statues and finish building your diabolical machine. Harley will be the main workhorse for this task: have her jump onto the scaffold on the right and build a replica of the other brown platform. Wait for Joker to stand in the ground one, then leap to the one in the air to hoist the Joker up. Fall in both buttons to hammer the bell. Build the antennae thing.

On the left side, put down some metal bars for the Joker to climb, then move to the other scaffold and smash the objects in the back. Pull the lever to create a bridge and ring the bell. Ring the bell several more times to shake out a LEGO canister. Assemble the other antennae thing to complete the mission.

FREE PLAY

Several canisters here! First, after coming up from the first lift, head to the immediate left and bomb away the shining metal gates. Some ladder pieces—climb the ladder to get to the LEGO canister. Take the second lift up, and you have a choice of going left or right. To the left, a canister caged in a box with two yellow buttons on top. Need two double-jumping characters to weigh down both switches in order to fully open the door. To the right, a magnetic ramp leading up to a canister. Freeze the sparkling puddle a little before the area's exit and break open the ice for this LEGO canister.

FREE PLAY

The shiny objects in the ground explode into pieces that form into machine guns. The aim is to be able to sound both bells simultaneously solely using the guns. For this quirky task you get a LEGO canister.

You won't unlock these characters until you have rescued all 25 hostages and completed all the mini kits in the game. Note that you will need to spend approximately 4 billion studs to purchase the last data after purchasing all the rest.
