Introduction

- This guide is intended to assist you with enrolling your iOS device into AirWatch Mobile Device Management (MDM).

- After enrollment, your device can be managed by the company. Please read the Security Features on the last page of this document.

- Enrollment should take approximately 15 minutes, but time may vary based on the speed of your internet connection.

- The following prerequisites need to be completed before beginning enrollment:

Make sure cookies are enabled. Settings - Safari - Block Cookies, change to one of the "Allowed" options•

Internet connection (cellular or wireless)•

If you do not have an Apple ID you will need to create one to download the AirWatch MDM agent from the App Store•

Configure Email

Remove current corporate email configuration•

Ensure you have the latest version of iOS on your device, minimum iOS 7.1.2

Step 1: Remove Current Email Account

Tap on the Settings icon.

Download Agent Configure Email


Scroll down and tap on Mail, Contacts and Calendars.

Authenticate

Tap on your corporate email account.

Scroll down and tap on Delete Account.

Tap Delete from My iPhone.

Step 2: Download Agent

Tap on Safari.

In the address bar type "awagent.com" then tap Go. Tap on Go to Apple AppStore.

Tap on Get, then tap Install. You will have to enter your Apple ID password.

After the Agent App installs, open the App and Tap Email Address.

Enter your corporate email address. Tap Go. You will be taken to the SSO login.

Enter the Username and password you use to log in to your PC. Tap Go. After login you will be taken back to the AirWatch App

Choose Device Ownership.Corporate Dedicated = Purchased by the company.Employee Owned = BYOD approved device.Tap Done, then tap Next.

- If you see an error that your device is not whitelisted, please make sure you have completed the first step and upgraded your device to 7.1.2 or higher.

- If you see an error that you have exceeded the device limit please make sure you have removed AirWatch from all unused devices.

You will see the Terms of Use. Tap Accept after reading the terms.

Tap on Redirect and Enable to begin installing MDM profiles.

You will be prompted to install a profile. Tap the Install button.

If you have a passcode set on your phone you will be asked to enter your passcode.

Confirm installing the profile. Tap the Install button.

Install Profiles

Tap Lƴǎǘŀƭƭ. You will see the profile installed. Tap 5ƻƴŜ.

You will be taken back to the Safari browser. Please stay on this screen.

You will be asked to trust the MDM server. Tap ¢Ǌǳǎǘ.

You may be asked to open the next page in the "Agent". ¢ŀǇ Open.

The My Device screen will display. Please make sure you see 3 "Green Check Marks"

You will be asked to see notifications from the AirWatch Agent. Tap OK

*If you see this screen, youremail settings have not been installed yet. Tap the home button, wait a few minutes then tap the email icon again.

You will be prompted to enter your email password. After entering your password it may take a few minutes to sync.

Press the Home button, then tap the Email icon

After successfully entering your password, you will see this screen. Tap and swipe down to refresh the screen and check for email. If you get an error, clear the error and try again.

The following steps turn on notifications for email. From your Home Screen tap on Settings then, tap on Notifications.

To see email notifications while your phone is locked, make sure Allow Notifications, and Show on Lock Screen are turned on. You can also customize the other settings.

Scroll down and tap on Mail.





To set your Default Contacts and Calendar. Tap on Settings.

Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Scroll down to Contacts and Tap on Default Account.

Tap on the "AirWatch" account to select this as your default account for contacts.

If your corporate email is the ONLY email configured on your device, then you do not have to complete the steps below.

Go back to Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, Under Calendars, select Default Calendar.

Under the AirWatch account select Calendar.

Upon enrolling in AirWatch, your device will have security profiles installed. These profiles enable security features intended to protect company data. This is a list of security features that will be installed during enrollment.

- Jailbroken or rooted devices are blocked from enrolling in AirWatch.- Using email clients other than the AirWatch configured clients (i.e ActiveSync, Outlook App) to access corporateemail is against company policy, approved clients that AirWatch configures:

- Apple – Native email app- Android – AirWatch inbox

- Enterprise wipe – The Company has the ability to remove your mobile email access, however, this will not affectyour personal email or personal data. You would need to re-enroll after an Enterprise wipe. - Device wipe – If the device is reported lost or stolen the company can factory reset your device, erasing ALLDATA on the device including all personal data.

Apple iOS Devices

- iOS devices must be running iOS 7.1.2 or newer or AirWatch will not install- The corporate email account will be automatically configured after enrollment. The user will only be required toenter their password to retrieve their corporate email.- Documents from managed sources cannot be opened or saved in unmanaged destinations – Example: cannotopen email attachments using another app. The attachment will be viewed in the mail app.- Prevent messages to be moved between mail accounts – Example: cannot open a mail message and move it to afolder in your personal email account on the device.- Apps managed or installed by AirWatch will not be allowed to backup data to iCloud.- You will be required to set a 4 digit non-sequential, non-repeating passcode on your device- If you enter the wrong passcode six times in a row, you'll be locked out and a message will say that your deviceis disabled for 1 minute. This disabled period will increase with each wrong passcode entered. Call the helpdesk to clear your passcode.- You will be responsible for backing up your device, we recommend this is done daily https://www.apple.com/support/iphone/backup

Android Devices

- Androids must be running version 4.4 or newer or AirWatch will not install- AirWatch inbox will be installed to access Mail Contacts and Calendar; the account will be automaticallyconfigured. The user will only be required to enter their password to retrieve their corporate email- AirWatch Content Locker app must be installed to view attachments. No attachments can be saved outside ofthis app- A 4 digit alphanumeric passcode will be required on AirWatch Inbox (not the device itself)- 5 failed attempts to enter the passcode will result in the AirWatch Inbox app being removed from the device andthe device will un-enroll from AirWatch.- Screenshots within the AirWatch inbox app are disabled.- You will be responsible for backing up your device, we recommend this is done daily- These security features are required. If you do not wish to enroll in AirWatch, you will not be able to configure email access from your mobile device.- AmerisourceBergen will only Support Apple iOS devices and Samsung Android devices. We are working on support for Windows devices. Any other Android device can be enrolled, but AmerisourceBergen will not support the device.
