Group Overview• Pacific Green Technologies Group has a strategy that seeks to develop, acquire and

license technologies that are designed to improve the environment. • We have a current order book in excess of USD$200m and now intend to embark on

our next stage of development expanding into new technologies and territories, while continuing to grow our order book for existing technologies.

    • We believe our objectives are best achieved by building strong relationships with local companies in chosen territories and to that end we have to date developed a strong joint venture partnership with PowerChina, one of the largest EPC contractors in the world.

    Group Divisions

Game changing marine scrubber technologyOne of the smallest footprints - Simple patented design -Industry leading efficiency

Capturing sulphur at source before it pollutes the atmosphere: Better – Smaller – Cleaner

Capturing the energy of the sun and stores it. CSP stores the sunlight as heat, which can be used to generate electricity at a later time, even when there is no sunlight.

Turning to the only consistent available water source for water relief – the ocean.

    Marine Scrubber

    • ENVI-Marine™ System provides compliance and enables charterers and fuel companies to benefit from the “Heavy Fuel Oil / Bunker” to “Low Sulphur Gas Oil” price differential, currently $200 or more per ton. For a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) tanker, low sulphur fuel price differential currently exceeds $5M per year. Using ENVI-Marine™ pays for itself within 12 – 18 months

    • Global Regulations - International Maritime Organization (IMO) 2020 opportunity. - EU Industrial Emissions Directive commits European member states to control

and reduce the impact of industrial emissions. - Improving environment is one of seven major policy objectives in China’s 2016

Five Year Plan. - India introduced stricter guidelines for sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide

emissions from coal-fired power plants in December 2015

    • Manufacturing and installation in China - via partnership with PowerChina- provides substantial strategic benefits and convenience for most customers.

    TurboHead™ Technology

    • PGT’s method maximizes the trapping of exhaust gas pollutants more efficiently

    • Delivers maximum possible molecular contact between exhaust gases and neutralizing reagents; capacity to process 100% of flue gas

    • Small, flexible footprint

    • Reduced energy consumption and on-demand reagent addition

    • TurboHead™ is more cost effective (capital & operating) for any capacity vs. competition

    • Effective for a variety of reagents including seawater, limestone and sodium hydroxide

    • Designed for Marine applications, then engineered to address Land-based requirements

Patented TurboHead™ technology is the unique design of PGT’s ENVI-Marine™ & ENVI-Clean™ Systems

  • 10

    • Provide Scrubber Systems to Treat Coal-Fired Power Plant Emissions

    • Patented TurboHeadTM forming design is ultra-efficient

    • The ENVI-Clean™ System deals with more than 99% of SOx emissions

    • Easy to retrofit to existing systems, with attractive financial packages available

    • Worldwide scale through our partnership with PowerChina

    • There are no moving parts, fans or media to replace in the scrubber vessel

    • Futureproofed against stricter regulations due to the system’s great efficiency

Land-based Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) System

  • 11

    Major Benefits

    • Easy to retrofit to existing systems

    • More gas-liquid contact time for complete removal of acid gases

    • Proprietary head design and multi-head approach enable reduced CAPEX and ongoing operating costs

    • Non-hazardous wastewater can be processed and reused for other plant processes such as ash cooling or dust control

Pacific Green Technologies Yancheng Case Study

    • Q1 2017 – PGTK China JV installed an ENVI-Clean™ system at a new 93 MW steelworks at Yancheng, northwest of Shanghai, as part of PowerChina’s EPC contract to build the plant.

    • The ENVI-Clean™ Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system installed for the Lianxin Steel Group at their facility near Yancheng in China is designed to remove sulphur dioxide (SO2) from the new power boiler exhaust.
