ITC Scope of Business
• Why ITC License ? – Bangladesh have only one Submarine Cable System and if there is any
fault in the Cable system then whole Bangladesh International communication can be cut off and no communication with the world.
– If Bangladesh wants Second Submarine cable then we need to wait for more countries decision to implement another cable system in the region as well as big investment also need to inject.
– As India has several Submarine cable systems and Between India & Bangladesh we have land border , So if we can connect between India & Bangladesh by Land which we called Terrestrial so that Bangladesh can get multiple Fiber access with minimum investment compare to new Submarine cable system.
– So After Implementing ITC License into Bangladesh we will get Backup connectivity or replacement communication way in either direction have any outage we can have redundant path to travel international destination.
• SCOPE of ITC
– Build , Operate and Maintain Terrestrial Network and Landing Station
– IPLC Service sales to International Gateway Operators.
– IPLC & IP Services to International Internet Gateway Operators.
– Authorized IPLC users ( e.g SiTA, Airlines, NGO)
– Any other Authorized Entity as approved by BTRC
ITC Scope of Business
ITC Network Design
-> Once ITC in operation there will be alternate route can be created for Bangladesh International traffic. -> Extension of cable to India will enable us to directly access between India & Bangladesh traffic as well as we can get multiple diversity through India to the world as shown above picture.

IGW Transmission for International PoP
For IGW International Connectivity there is four segment involved in current market scenario for cost of Operations which are :
1. Dhaka Customer Premises to BTCL Exchange typically carried by NTTN 2. BTCL Exchange to Cox’s Bazar as domestic backhaul generally carried by BTCL 3. Cox’s Bazar to International Cable Landing Station (CLS) currently only BSCCL
carried 4. Intl CLS to International PoP Data Center generally local Licensed backhaul
provider (e.g SingTel, AirTel , BT etc.) Here you can see between Cox’s Bazar to International CLS you have no redundant path
so if there is any problem in this wet-segment your business will be down but we can provide you redundant facilities with all most same cost in all the ways.
ADVANTAGE Of 1ASIA-ALLIANCE ITC For You
We can offer you end to end solutions for your IGW communication need.
We can offer you wet-segment , dry segment, terrestrial connectivity at one stop service.
We can provide you competitive price then others
We can provide you 99.99% guaranteed uptime

Typical Price Idea of Existing market scenario based on STM-1
• Between Customer Premises to BTCL Exchange about Tk. 30,000 (USD 353)

• Between Cox’s Bazar to Singapore about Tk. 10,50,000 ( USD 12,500)
• Between Singapore CLS to Data Centre backhaul charge about USD 5000
So Total for one STM-1 is : USD 22,353 approximately
which we may able to give with redundant service in both wet-segment & terrestrial segment but current market can not offer you any service like we do.
International PoP Costing idea MRC only
