Introduction
Northpoint Centre of Learning primarily aims to bridge the gap between the industry’s need for effective talent, and the
needs and aspirations of young professionals. The Northpoint model promotes business success by empowering working
executives and young professionals with specialized knowledge and decision-making skills. Hence, Northpoint has delved
into the following areas to provide the most significant and appropriate training: Career Programs to address talent
development at induction levels and Executive development programs that meet learning needs at various levels in an
organization
The focus is on creating Actionable Knowledge through an optimum blend between contemporary theory and a rigorous
exposure to practice. Training is largely conducted through a partnership between academicians and practicing managers
with extensive and successful experience to back their point of view. Essentially, Northpoint programs strive to develop
managers capable of assuming and delivering responsibilities with a high degree of excellence, thereby building successful
careers.
Northpoint Centre of Learning was established by the Lintas Employees' Welfare Trust, the former Indian shareholders of
Lintas India Private Limited.
Chairman’s Message
Northpoint has completed more than a decade of helping young people build interesting careers for
themselves in the industry. A successful alumnus base of over 450 is serving different organizations
in India and abroad. The achievements of Northpoint graduates are a testimony to the effectiveness
of the unique Northpoint training model.
The curriculum includes a substantial real life exposure through in-company internships and live
projects. We put our students through the paces with a mix of rural, urban, sales and elective
internships, apart from the live project they work on during their tenure at Northpoint. This is a
critical aspect of all training at Northpoint which is a focus on specialized, well directed, functional
training that prepares young people to take on responsibility on joining an organization, without
long lead times to become productive.
Encouraged by the success of the Market Research Program in association with Nielsen and the
Communications Program in partnership with Mullen Lowe, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, JWT, Lintas Media
Group, Dentsu Aegis Network, Carat, iProspect, Communicate2, Posterscope, Vizeum, Carat Fresh,
Doosra, Isobar, Mirrum, PS Live, PSI, Taproot India, Webchutney, Ambient, Brandscope, Milestone
and AY Digital (New York) to provide specialization in Advertising, Digital Marketing and Media
Management, Northpoint is ready to announce a specialized program in Out-of-home Advertising in
partnership with Dentsu Aegis Network’s subsidiaries – Posterscope and Milestone.
For us, it is especially gratifying to note the progressively rising standard of graduates year on year,
young men and women who are able to command respect for their contribution in industry.
