Eng Kong was founded in 1975 as an integrated logistics operatorproviding container related services to global firms operating inthe Asia-Pacific region.

In 1981, the Group broadened its business portfolio to includecontainer depot businesses servicing the world’s leading containerleasing, shipping lines and major container terminal operators inSingapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong SAR.

Today, the Eng Kong Holdings Private Limited Group hasestablished itself as Asia’s leading fully-integrated containerservice provider with activities that includes container depotoperation, warehousing, container freight station, new buildcontainer survey and other related container services.

To support the high growth logistics infrastructure industry in theregion, the Group has operations in Singapore, Malaysia,Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong SAR.

Ningbo Anxin Logistics Co Ltd – Jan12 Tianjin Keyun Int’l Logistics Group Co Ltd(Depot Unit) – Dec13

The acquisition of Anxin in Jan12 and Keyun’s depot business inDec’13 further strengthens Eng Kong’s presence, market share andservice capabilities in China. With the acquisition, Eng Kong isreputed to be the largest Independent Empty Container DepotService Provider in Asia.

Anxin has 5 depots located in Ningbo and Shanghai. Keyun has 7 depots located in Shanghai, Tianjin and Qingdao.

It provides High Availability, Robustness and Scalability to support EngKong’s Container Management System, Financial System, CustomerPortal and other Mission Critical Systems.

Our Centralised Web-based Container Management System provides ourFront-Liners an effective tool to record, update and track containers.

Depots from different region access this system via 2 high bandwidthand low latency Wide Area Network connections.

IT Infrastructure At the backend; it provides Robust, Accurate and Timely information

to Eng Kong Operations Management for daily operations and monthlytrending needs.

Besides an effective tool to Eng Kong, it is also integrated seamlesslyvia Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to provide Real-time updatesinto our Customer’s Systems.

A Recovery Site or a ‘HOT SITE’ are setup to provide 24x7 readinessto support our Business Operations and Mission Critical Systemsregionally, in the event of a disaster strikes that may bring down EngKong’s Production Systems.
