About Data Acquisitions and Forensics

About Cyber Crime Investigation

About Information Security Compliance Management

Computer forensics is used to find legal evidence in computers or storage devices. This module will cover the basics of this growing technical field. It will review the goals of computer forensics, the types of investigations it’s used for, a forensic investigator’s typical toolset, and the legal implications of this type of work. It includes preparing for an investigation; acquiring data “live”, while the system is running statically from a hard drive, or from a remote machine; ensuring data is kept in its original state with software and hardware write blockers for analysing the data; and creating a report.

This module introduces students to the many different types of cybercrime. Students learn how to identify cybercriminal activity and learn how companies and law enforcement agencies are responding to the dangers these crimes present. Hypothetical scenarios are offered for students to examine, and students review the proper legal responses for these scenarios.

With the rise of cyber-attacks against businesses all around the world, federal regulators are encouraging organizations to be proactive in the way they prepare for them. Generally, IT departments are in charge of implementing security measures to mitigate the risks of a cyber-attack and to protect valuable data. However, the compliance implications of a security breach can be enormous for an unprepared organization, especially if IT or Operations are unaware of possible federal or industry regulations. So this module prepares the students for the same.

BSE International Financial Olympiad is an initiative to extend financial literacy at the school level through its flagship innovative and educative, national-level financial quiz competition. It is aimed at encouraging school students to explore and learn more about the financial world by developing analytical and problem solving skills that will be essential to their careers. It focuses on empowering students with a proper understanding of the opportunities in the financial markets. It helps students prioritize their financial goals and guides them towards becoming financially responsible and independent individuals.

Young people, today, face more responsibilities and challenges than ever before. They now bear more of the costs of their own education, they also tend to borrow large sums of money at an early age. Hence it is critical for them to be financially literate at an early age. However their curriculum is already overloaded and with decreasing attention spans, conventional approaches to teaching will not work, which is why we, at BSE Institute Ltd., thought of devising a fun filled national level competition to help school children to acquire financial knowledge.

This year, we hosted the 6th edition of this event and we had a very good response, from all over the country. A total of 15,000 students from over 600 schools across the country participated in the national level competition which was spread over 6 months. We are confident that the BIFO will go a long way in encouraging our youth to be financially literate.
