THE END RESULT
o A strong values framework
o A clear and coherent analysis of why things are currently organised the way they are

o Many of the tools and skills they need to make change happen for themselves, their own families, their local communities and at a national level
Graduates of the Partners in
Policymaking course understand
that every individual act models
change for other people. Their
actions inspire and teach others
who they then coach to make
changes for themselves.
Partners in Policymakingthe way to make a difference
The biggest gift Partners gave us
and other families was permission
to dream for ourselves and our
families.
We learned to be drawn by hope not driven by
anger and frustration
We learned to continue to dream for Nicola as
we did for our other children.
People don’t stop dreaming because their child is
disabled, they stop when services systems make it so
hard.
The future
‘I have realised I’m not alone’
‘An unique learning experience’
‘The knowledge and insight I have gained....has opened opportunities we would never previously have considered’
‘Partners in Policymaking has been totally life changing for myself and my whole family’
‘I am now more confident in moving things forward and feel far better equipped for the coming years’
‘If I could do it every year, I would!’
‘I believe Partners will help bring communities together’
We need to work together to secure funding to sustain the Partners programme beyond 2018!
