2, The importance of fabric design

1. Features: Textiles are commodities which follow fashion. Fashion

is constantly changing, so new products are required. Therefore, R & D of new varieties is necessary for satisfying various new requirements.

Not only knowledge but also intellect are necessary for designers. One should master science and technology, also, makes oneself good at practice.

1 ) Designing is a fundamental work, and design document is a law in a factory. Staffs, finance, equipment, productivity, supply and selling are all following the product.

The product is not the issues of a department but the whole enterprise. There is a saying “a product can bring a dying company to life”.

Design work is artistic in some way, and the artist usually have a longer life.

Design work is usually carried out in a nice place: market research and study, conference , inspecting the production are all interesting and fun.

analyze the parameters of fabric; Be capable to design fabric and select the
