All of us at Fly Fishers International are thrilled to announce the launch of our new membership platform, YourMembership (YM). It’s going to offer a bunch of new features that will improve the overall member experience, and make it easier for you to stay connected with the sport you love.

New features will be added throughout the year — but here’s what you need to do to log in and start benefiting from this great new platform:

STEP 1 First, take a moment to be glad this is related to fly fishing and not filing taxes online or something less fun!

STEP 2 Log in to your account at member.flyfishersinternational.org and just use your same FFI username and password you’ve been using all along. If you forgot that info, no problem — there’s a “Forgot Your Password” link right below the sign in box.

STEP 3 After logging in, you should land at your profile dashboard. You’ll see the contact details FFI has on file for you, what club affiliations you have, that sort of thing. This is where you can add a new photo, update your notification preferences, and correct any info that may be wrong — all by clicking on the little blue “Edit” link with the pencil icon.

Don’t worry, this is a secure platform, and FFI will not share any of this info.

Important: if you do any editing, don’t

forget to hit that “Save Changes” button!

It’s easy to miss, being at the very bottom

of the form.

STEP 4 Want to check your membership status? Click on your name up toward the top, and from the drop down, choose “Account + Settings”, then select Payments & History from the column on the left. Choose the Membership tab, and then “View/Print My Membership Card.”

You with me still? Ok, good. You will now see a drop down from your main membership tab (the one that says “Welcome, [your name]”) that offers “Renew Membership Now.” Click OK on the pop up, and you’ll also get a screen with a last few questions for you to answer.

And as usual, when done, don’t forget to hit “Save Changes” at the bottom.

STEP 5 Now you can choose what type of membership you want, and you can also join/renew your group membership(s). Want to join another group? No problem, click the “View All Available Groups” link and you’ll get a full list of the options (by the way, this is also where you can purchase a subscription to Flyfisher

Magazine).

If you are a member of a specialty group, take note! The system will automatically un-enroll you from a specialty group if you deselect the group when renewing your membership. Make sense? And to keep things simple, your group membership follows your regular membership in terms of expiration date, so both should be paid at the same time.

STEP 6 Ok there is no Step 6, you’re done — told you it was easy, nice work!

News flash: we will be sending around more “How To” guides and such as we roll out new membership features, but this should get you headed in the right direction.
