LEGAL • Our Rule 11 Alternative Dispute Resolution

process continues to fairly and successfully resolve conflict

• In collaboration with Amway, made recommendations concerning Accreditation Plus 2.0 and the launch

• In partnership with Amway, worked on Business Reference Guide revisions and made recommendations concerning Rules modifications

• Continue to work with Amway to address unauthorized online selling and exporting, taking aggressive actions to remedy the Rules violations

• Developed a Succession Planning Task Force to continue Succession Planning for IBO Leaders

IBO EXPERIENCE• Made recommendations for shipping rate

enhancements and improvements

• Partnered with Amway’s Training & Education Department to launch great new online training

• Continue to work with Amway on improvements to the Amway app and website – always “mobile first”

• Carrying on plans with Amway to improve product packaging, including reduced damages and improved delivery times

DISCRETIONARY REWARD & RECOGNITION • Worked with Amway to make significant

changes to the Diamond Dreams Program

• Participated in the corporate events planning process and site selection to enrich the IBO experience: NPC, Achievers, Diamond Club, NAGC, Diamond Dreams

• Collaborated with Amway regarding ongoing plans for 60th Anniversary event in 2019

COMMUNICATION & EDUCATION• Presented educational sessions at New

Platinum Conferences, Achievers, and Diamond Club in partnership with Amway

• Continued frequent communication to the Diamond Field Leadership through regular conference calls

• Developed and distributed IBOAI eNewsletter quarterly

• Enhanced online presence at iboai.com, and provided timely messaging to the Field via IBOAI Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

• Considered various strategies to assist and improve IBO use of social media

• Contributed to the Founder Memorial Scholarships – IBOAI again matched the Hansen, Victor and Dutt Founders’ Scholarship Awards

PRODUCTS & PROMOTIONS• Made strong recommendations for the need

of a basic skin care line

• Worked closely with Amway on ideas for more beauty door openers

• Continued discussions with Amway to consider gluten-free and clean ingredient products

• Continue to suggest and develop holiday specials with Amway

• Worked closely with Amway on identifying and securing additional Partner Stores

• Assisted Amway with effective planning and the successful launch of the XS™ Sports Nutrition line and Truvivity by Nutrilite™ and Artistry Supreme LX™

IBOAI HISTORY DAY Jody Victor, Governance & Oversight, led the annual IBOAI History Day, a session created to give new Board members, current Board members, and invited guests an overview of the rich history and values of the IBOAI and Amway.

DIAMOND CLUBIn February, top IBO leaders attended Diamond Club 2016 at the luxurious, 32-acre Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii. From the lavish Welcome Party to the exhilarating Business Meeting, to the phenomenal Masquerade Party, the Diamonds had an unforgettable week in paradise. At the interactive workshops, the IBOAI gave Diamonds the opportunity to record a personalized video message and pair it with a pre-recorded segment on the history and benefits of the IBOAI — a brief digital overview to share with their organization.

ACHIEVERS INVITATIONALAmway’s largest recognition event of the year celebrated the accomplishments of thousands of deserving IBOs at the elegant Venetian and Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas. The IBOAI greeted Achievers at arrival with the 2016 IBOAI Year in Review, and signature IBOAI journal and pen. During the Expo, the IBOAI staff and Board members interacted with the leaders – each IBO had the opportunity to test their knowledge and learn more about the IBOAI with a fun trivia game. IBO Leaders who stopped by received a logoed light stick and banded pagesaver/bookmark.

U.S. DREAM ACADEMY’S 15TH ANNUAL “POWER OF A DREAM” GALAIn May, several IBOAI Board members and staff attended the Academy’s “Growing Dreams” gala in Washington, D.C. Filled with motivating messages, inspiring song, and poignant tributes, it celebrated leaders and mentors who lend their support to the Academy and its after-school programs for children of incarcerated parents.

hosted conference calls with

Diamond Leadership to receive

feedback on what is happening in the

Field — and provide them with updates.

In the past year, the IBOAI has assisted

Amway in initiating, developing, and

improving new and existing incentives,

tools, and products. New online training

and enhanced shipping and delivery

are just a couple. The Board and MAC

also contributed to the planning and

launch of XS™ Sports Nutrition, Truvivity

by Nutrilite™, and Artistry Supreme LX™ skincare.

Fueled by the powerful optimism and strong commitment of

all North American IBOs, 2017 looks to be an incredible year!

NEW PLATINUM CONFERENCEIn May, August, and October, the IBOAI was pleased to join Amway in warmly welcoming New Platinums to the home of Amway World Headquarters and Amway Grand Plaza. The newest IBO leaders were warmly welcomed by the IBOAI staff and given an IBOAI logo journal and pen. At all three conferences, IBOAI Chair Bob Andrews delivered an engaging presentation on the foundation of success.
