continues to quietly and peacefully resolve conflict

• In collaboration with Amway made recommendations concerning the substance and launch of A2.0

• Continued working with Amway on Succession Planning for IBO Leaders

• Continued to work with Amway to address unauthorized online selling and taking action to remedy the Rules violations

IBO ExpERIENCE• Made recommendations for improvements to the

proposed new ABOB and IBO Welcome Kit

• Worked with Amway on proposed remedies for top “IT issues”

• Worked with Amway to improve product packaging, including reducing damages

• Worked with Amway to enhance “User Experience” on the Amway website and Customer Service, including CSA improvements, speed of delivery, improved search feature with “type ahead”, more intuitive language for placing orders

• Made suggestions for the updated Mobile Amway App

• Worked with Amway to allow IBOs to offer free shipping to their customers from retail profit

• Made suggestions for improvements to ordering experience for Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico markets

IBOAI HIstORY DAY Jody Victor, Governance & Oversight, led the annual IBOAI History Day, a session created to give new Board members, current Board members and invited guests an overview of the rich history and values of the IBOAI and Amway.

DIAMOND CLuBIn February, Diamonds were treated to a luxurious stay at the Westin Maui on the breathtaking, three-mile stretch of Ka’anapali Beach, Hawaii. IBO Leaders, many IBOAI Board members, were treated with lavish dining, amazing activities, and intimate gatherings in celebration of their leadership and the anniversary of Amway’s 50th Diamond Club.

ACHIEVERs INVItAtIONALAmway’s largest recognition event of the year celebrated the accomplishments of thousands of deserving IBOs in Orlando, Florida. The IBOAI greeted attendees at registration with a warm welcome and an IBOAI signature journal and pen. As a special treat designed to delight kids of all ages, the IBOAI gave each IBO a fun LED light-up button (perfect for the night visit to Disneyworld) and glow-in-the-dark putty to children, making it their “Time to Shine”!

u.s. DREAM ACADEMY “pOWER Of A DREAM” ANNuAL gALAIn May, several IBOAI Board members and staff attended the Academy’s “Score for Dreams” gala in Washington, D.C. It was an energetic evening filled with motivating messages, inspiring song, and abundant gratitude in celebration of leaders, celebrities, and mentors who lend their support to the Academy and its nationally recognized after-school programs for children of incarcerated parents.

NEW pLAtINuM CONfERENCEIn June and again in November, the IBOAI was pleased to join Amway in warmly welcoming New Platinums to the home of Amway World Headquarters and Amway Grand Plaza. The newest IBO leaders had the chance to converse with the IBOAI staff during the Expo and receive an IBOAI logo journal and pen. At both conferences, IBOAI Chair Bob Andrews delivered an engaging presentation on leadership.
