Company Overview

Wale Afolabi & Co is a firm of Estate Surveyors & Valuers duly registered in Nigeria with the

Corporate Affairs Commission. We are member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and

Valuers (NIESV) and also licensed to practice the profession through the Estate Surveyors and

Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON). See Appendix A for our copies of registrations

licensing us to carry out the practice of Estate Surveying and Valuation in Nigeria.

Wale Afolabi, (ANIVS. RSV)

Wale Afolabi is a qualified Estate Surveyor & Valuer. A graduate of Estate Management

from the University of Lagos.

Over the years, Wale has been involved in various high network real estate

transactions with major players in the industry.

As Principal Partner of Wale Afolabi & Co - a firm of Estate Surveyors and

Valuers, he has over-seen and carried out core valuation exercise, under the

tutelage of Austin C. Otegbulu, a fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate

Surveyor & Valuers. Asset Valuation, Feasibility Appraisals,

Property Development, Project Management, Property Management,

Facilities Management, Property Brokerage for organizations and co-operate

individuals.

Wale Afolabi is an Associate of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and

Valuers and also a registered Surveyors and Valuers of the Federal Republic of

Nigeria.

Femi Akala, (Msc., MRICS)

An Estate Surveyor with over 20years of Banking and Real Estate experience, Femi Akala

possesses a BSc. in Estate Management from the University of Lagos and a joint MSc.

International Real Estate Market from the University of Aberdeen and University of Hong

Kong from where he was attached to various developmental projects in 5 major cities

around the world – Barcelona, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo. He is

a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (RICS) and the Nigerian

Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV).

He started his career at Eko International Bank where he oversaw Branch Development

and Facilities Management. Upon bank consolidation in 2006 he maintained the role in

Skye Bank Plc where he over saw not less than 20 branch developments and managed

facilities in over 200 branches. He was also seconded to the Corporate Banking

technical team in charge of various lending projects undertaken by the bank.

With his vast experience in contract negotiation he oversees the company operational

services Mr. Femi Akala attends a range of technical meetings on negotiations and

contract execution.

Chinonso Okafor, (Bsc, ANIVS, RSV)

Nonso heads the Valuation Department at Wale Afolabi & Co- she co-ordinates every

of our valuation assignments, together with the valuation team. Her duties lie within

determining market value of properties, preparation of asset (furniture, fittings &

office equipment, motor vehicle, plant and machinery, land and building) field

inventory list, valuation of specailised and non- specialised properties, conducting

market survey for price information, cost of construction, rent passing on clients’

properties.

She is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, Akoka, where she obtained Bsc. In Estate

Management.

Chinonso Okafor is an Associate of the Nigerian Institition of Estate Surveyors and

Valuers and also a registered Surveyors and Valuers of the Federal Republic of

Nigeria.

Yetunde Afolayan, (Bsc, MNIM)

She is the head business development department for Wale Afolabi and Co. A

member of Nigeria Institute of Management with experience in marketing

Having worked with many prestigious property/ facility management companies, I.T,

print and advertising, Yetunde is responsible for the day to day running of the

firms' activities.

She is an alumnus of the University of Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti state, where she obtained Bsc.

/Bed.in Education.

Tunde Yakubu, (ANIVS, RSV)

Tunde Yakubu is a senior associate at the firm of Wale Afolabi& Co. He started his

professional career with Tunde Salau and Co. and later worked with Oladeinde

Olajide and Associates, Adefila and partners. He was elected as an Associate member

of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in February 2013.

Gbenga Oyewunmi, (BSc, MSc)

Gbenga is an Estate Surveyor & Valuer by profession and career. He graduated from

the University of Lagos, department of Estate Management. He also had his Master's

Degree from the same institution.

Gbenga is a seasoned professional, a professional member of the Nigerian Institution of

Estate Surveyors and Valuers.

Gbenga has worked with the firm of A.0 Otegbulu& Partners, Bode Adediji Partnership, and

Gbenga Olaniyan & Associates in different capacity.

Nneka Uban (Bsc)

Nnneka is a graduate of Accounting from University of Nigeria. She works as the

Administrative/Personnel Executive at Wale Afolabi & Co, she is in charge of Accounts

Department, whilst ensuring that financial records are properly kept. Having learnt

through the ropes at her past jobs positions, and understanding the decorum

required of her job, she has been able to maintain a perfect interface between the

company’s operations and financial accounts; building agencies; taxation bodies; to

mention a few. She primarily updates the company’s finances.

Onome Erhinyodavwe, (LLB)

She is a dedicated legal practitioner where she heads the firms' legal department. A

graduate of the University of Jos, where she bagged her LLB degree in Law.

Thereafter she attended the Abuja Law School, and was called to the Nigerian bar in

November 2010.

Kolawole Kolade (BSc)

Kolade is with substantial years of practical knowledge in the area of Property

Valuation, Agency, and Property Management, Valuation. His daily duties in the

area of Valuation includes carrying out feasibility and viability tests,

reconnaissance survey for the interest of achieving best practices of the

Estate Surveying and Valuation. He supports also the Property Management

Department.

He worked with First Bank Plc, Bode Adediji Partnership before joining WALE

AFOLABI & CO.

Saidat Yusuf (BEng, COREN, MNSE)

Saidat’s experience spans over 10years. She worked with Building Consultants

Limited, where she later joined AIM Consultants in 2009 where she handled

prime projects such as the development of Victoria Mall Phase 2, 3, 4 a project

for UACN Properties Development Company PLC.

In 2012, she went to works for Popham Walter Odusote Limited, and handled

there to mention a few- Egina FPSO Living Quarters; Offshore Phase 2 Living

quarter platform a 135-man, platform mounted living quarters, erected in

bright of Benin, an offshore project for Total E & P Nigeria Limited. Avantis

Integrated Consulting in 2016 employed her as Design Coordinator and Senior

Project Manager, where she handled the following developments - Dolphin

Central Mosque;, The Twin Lakes Mall in Lagos a development project including

Retail functions over two floors for a total built up area with Gross Building

Area of 38048m2 & Gross Lettable Area of 28986m2; The Admiral Hospital

Developments, a 70 bed building of 6 floors and parking building of 5 floor

which was delivered in 2017 to mention a few.

Mayowa Ojo (Bsc)

Mayowa is a proven and tested Estate Surveyor and Valuer having obtained in

2012, BSc. in Estate Management from the University of Lagos. He possesses a

great wealth of experience in different areas of Estate Surveying and Valuation.

Some of his work scope at Wale Afolabi & Co includes taking notes of efficient and

efficient results in every of our assignments, attending various negotiation

meetings on behalf of the company- range of technical meetings on negotiations and

contract execution.

OUR TEAM OF CONSULATANTS -

Kunle Awolaja (FNIVS,RSV)

Mr Awolaja attended the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos for his

OND & HND. He graduated in 1991. He had is Youth Service with Okolo, Okolo & Co. He has worked

with the firm of Jide Taiwo & Co, Adetola, Akintilo & Colleagues, Tunji Ologbon & Co before going

into Civil Service in August 1996.

He possesses Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Real Estate from Lagos State

University and College of Estate Management, University of Reading, United Kingdom.

He began his Civil Service career with the Lagos State Valuation Office, Secretariat, Alausa. He

had various posting within the-Civil Service working in several Local Government Councils as

Valuation Officer, Land Bureau and the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development.

ESV. Awolaja is a fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers

(NIESV), and was the immediate past Honorary Secretary of the Institution. He has presented

several papers on Paint and Equipment Valuation, Land Administration, Facility Management,

Entrepreneurial Development, Urban Regeneration both local and international. He is

presently the Director, Lagos State Valuation office.

Austin Chike Otegbulu

Austin C Otegbulu PHD, FINVS, RSV, is a fellow of the Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyor

&Valuers. He is a seasoned professional. A former Head of Department, Estate Management,

University of Lagos, Dr. Otegbulu has served in various sensitive positions both Nigerian Institution

of Estate Surveyors (NIESV) and Estate Surveyors and Valuers Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON). He is

presently the Chairman, Education Committee of ESVARBON. Dr. Otegbulu is the principal partner,

A.C. Otegbulu & Partners.
