Richard TidmanCommercial Manager

Sixteen years in design management has given Richard an impressive array of knowledge and experience, all of which he’s brought to Uncle to help spearhead the growth of the business. Richard joins the family direct from Space and Studio Exposure, where he helped run the creative arms of these integrated agencies.

Mark DeeproseCreative Director

Mark has been delivering the goods for over fifteen years. He’s spent time at many a London agency, including Design Bridge, Creative Leap and Fingal Design working on Bentley, Glenfiddich and Jaguar to name a few. Uncle was born in 2007 from Mark’s passion for design and a desire to make a difference within the industry.

Richard WestSenior Creative

Before joining Uncle, Richard came up with fantastic ideas for John Brown Publishing, Why Not Associates, Lewis Moberly and Carter Wong Tomlin. With over ten years’ experience in designing for online and offline, Richard is a key member of the Uncle team – and responsible for many of our finest creations.

Mike ThomasSenior Developer

Mike Thomas, accomplished digital professional with ten years experience in design, information architecture and usability for the web. Mike’s legacy includes an impressive portfolio of over 25 websites for FTSE100, AIM and techMARK companies, as well as successfully apply his talents to a number of more creative briefs for clients within the music industry.

Jellyfish was a new business in need of a identity that would help position them firmly in the Search Engine Marketing sector.

The bespoke logotype was designed and redrawn to give Jellyfish the individuality and standout they needed in a competitive marketplace.

Bullet approached Uncle to rebrand its marketing business and to help take their brand identity to the next level.

We created a brand that was simple, flexible and powerful, like the name suggests. The new marque has been enhanced by a dominant use of red which they have now taken ownership of within their industry sector.

The Segrave Trophy is awardedto British subjects who demonstrate amazing acheivements on land, sea, water and in the air. The awards have recognised legends such as Sir Donald Campbell and Sir Stirling Moss.

The identity was inspired by the trophy itself and was important that the new brand and supporting material reflected the prestious nature of the awards.

Brent Walsh is the ultimate in male grooming. Our brief was to create an identity which appeals to men who care about their appearance, enjoy being pampered and relaxing in a cool and unpretentious environment.

Uncle developed the brand and have been responsible for the interiors, signage, point of sale and overall brand consistency throughout the business.

As well as creating the triOpsis brand and company website, we have also played a big part in building the web application that forms a central part of the company’s key product offering.

As brand guardians forJellyfish, Uncle were asked to translate their brand on the web. Specialising in online subscription and conversion, Jellyfish required a site that represented their online business and experience.

Their website has become the strongest selling tool in a highly competitive market sector.

Uncle worked closely with Paid Search marketing agency, Jellyfish to provide a bespoke creative solution aimed at driving substantial sales when the site goes live at the end of July ‘09.
