Availability

  To  manage  this  demand,  there  are  3  stages  of  availability.

      2.  Landrush:  21  June  –  13  July  

      3.  General  Availability:  20  July  

Global  Sunrise  

   

  When:  26th  April  –  10th  June  2010  

  Who:  Businesses  that  have  registered  trademarks  (outside  of  Colombia)  

  Why:  To  secure  the  new  .co  domain  for  registered  trademarks  for  further  brand  protec?on.  

Sunrise  Process  

1.  Pre-­‐Valida?on  (op?onal)  To  ensure  your  registered  trademark  qualifies  for  submission.  

2.  Submission  of  your  applica?on     A  submission  fee  applies  

3.     Valida?on  of  applica?on     Your  applica?on  is  assessed  based  on  a  valid  trademark  criteria  go  through  to  the  auc?on  stage  

4.  Auc?on      If  there  is  compe??on  for  your  domain  name,  all  applicants  will  go  through  to  an  online  auc?on.  

   All  applicants  will  be  no?fied  5  days  in  advance.  

5.     Award     If  successful,  your  domain  name  will  be  awarded  and  granted  a  1  year  registra?on.  

Landrush  

   When:     21  June  –  13  July  

  Who:    Open  to  all     Why:  Anyone  that  would  like  to  secure  their  brand  name  with  

a  .co  domain  ahead  of  general  availability.  Designed  for  those  wan?ng  to  secure  a  premium  domain.    

General  Availability  

      When:  20  July  

  Who:  Open  to  all     Why:  Opportunity  for  anyone  to  secure  a  .co  domain
