Day Two: Sightseeing Day!

For our first activity of our first full day in Paris we will go to the Lourve Museum. I chose this as the first activity of the day because the Lourve is a gorgeous but huge museum and it takes more than five hours to all the amazing art pieces, one of the being the Mona Lisa. After we leave the Lourve we will head straight to the Arc De Triomphe since its so closeby! We will travel up the long and exhausting spiral staricase to the very top or the Arc. Afterward taking many, many pictures we will visit the Nortre Dame Cathedral one of the most amazing churches ever built. The streets around the Cathedral are alive with street musicians but the interior of the cathedral is respected. Finally, we will go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Hopefully by this time it will be dark so we can see the lights of Paris at night.   Personal Memo: Take many fantastic pictures throughout the whole day!

Day Three:     On this day we will take a long but definitley memorable trip up to the the Basillica of Sacré Couer. On our way up there we will definitley stop and see at least the outside of Moulin Rouge. The Basillica is brilliantly beautiful. It is located at the top of a hill and overlooks most of the city. It is a serene place where lots of tourists gather. In the afternoon time we will take a stroll on the Champs Elysees, and possibly do a bit of shopping and stop in at an inviting cafe. Our final stop of the day will be the world famous Paris Opera House that took 23 years to build! The Opera House is architecture at its finest that we cannot afford to miss seeing.

Day Five: Normandy

On our final full day in France. We will take a trip to Omaha Beach in Normandy and visit the memorial cemetary in honor of the veterans that died on D-Day. It is important to go to the memorial cemetary to learn about the history of D-Day and relive the moments of June 6th 1944. We will get there with whatever transportation the D-Day tour I reserved will provide. The tour will be from 8:00am until noon. They will pick us up in Paris and drop us back off there. The tour guide will walk with us down "Bloody Omaha", show us and impressive site of the Germand gun battery at Point De Huc, and finally take us to the American memorial cemetary. The trip will cost about 75 euros for the three of us. 35 for adults and 25 for students.     http://www.normandywebguide.com/AnDdayTours.htm
