Founded in 1800 in Middlebury, Vermont, Middlebury College is one of the most renowned liberal arts and sciences colleges in the United States. Middlebury enrolls approximately 2,500 undergraduate students from all 50 U.S. states and more than 70 countries.

EXCELLENT TEACHING Our dedicated faculty teach every class, including discussion sections, and they have weekly open office hours. No classes are taught by graduate teaching assistants. We have an average class size of 19, and a student–faculty ratio of 9:1.
