Operational Performance Improvement Based upon objective SCA assessment results and related methodologies, C&T experts analyze current behaviors and practices within five interdependent systems needed to create a safe and productive workplace. Recommendations are made to close identified gaps and support continuous improvement.

4. COMPETENCY ASSURANCE PROGRAM
Personnel who require to be deemed competent must possess and be
able to demonstrate a satisfactory level of practical skill and theoretical
knowledge to carry out a given task safely.
Our programs begin with a training course with participants receiving a
certificate of training upon successful completion.
Delegates now have the option to proceed with the completion of a
competence portfolio. The portfolio is used to record their activities and
experience, in the workplace, and used as evidence of their competence
(tasks recorded must be witnessed by Intertek certified assessors and
when completed should be submitted for assessment and verification by
Intertek).
Once satisfactorily completed, Intertek issue the participant with a
‘Certificate of Competence’.
The competence certificate is valid for two years, after which time the
delegate should be re-assessed to confirm competence is being
maintained and / or progress to the next level.
