Summary of Social Media Intern Duties:

• Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist and marketing team on implemented media campaigns• Create engaging content from a unique student perspective• Provide support to the marketing team at live and online events• Pitch student-focused social media campaigns or contests• Assist with general inquiries to the main social media pages

We are looking for someone creative and outgoing with an interest in digital media and marketing. No previous experience is required, but, you should have some general knowledge and interest in photography, video production, graphic design, writing, and/or event promotion. As an intern, you will meet biweekly (on a date and time based on your schedule) with the Social Media Specialist to set goals, discuss ideas, and plan. You will learn new skills and have the opportunity to refine your own. Explore your creativity while learning the ins and outs of digital marketing. Our interns have access to our main social media accounts including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest. Interns are expected to represent the Arizona Western College brand and follow the Student Code of Conduct at all times. Interns will also receive $100 gift card to Barnes and Noble Bookstores per semester.
