Remember: This is the most important part of the PSA presentation…the information you want the audience to know about. When adding your notes, add definitions, lists, statistics and other facts that explain the topic, not full paragraphs to read like a script. You should break the facts into small bits on each slide or frame.

Step 8 – Add Media for Actual Slides/Frames – Choose an Effective and Appropriate Design

IMPORTANT: Check out the “Avoid Bad Presentations!” Links section on the class website AND watch the “Appropriate & Effective Graphics” video BEFORE beginning this step! A. Your own media drawn with:

Photoshop/Pixlr/Sumopaint…

Step 9 – Review and Modify According to Rubric

Actually read and check your work using the rubric. Example: One of the things the rubric will be looking at is the inclusion of your references so add your MLA citations from step 5 (and possibly step 8 if you used images from other locations) to the last slide or frame.

A.) Preferred method is to create an .mp4 file and submit it to the network assignment dropbox called “Internet Safety Project (.mp4)”. If your screencast is in a different format, there are converters listed on the class site. If the screencasting app only offers an online copy, provide the public link to it and put that in the assignment dropbox.

B.) Please also submit the presentation that was the basis for your video and place that into the “Internet Safety Project (.ppt)” folder. If your presentation was web based or a Google Slide presentation, add a document that includes the public link to it.

Step 13 – View Peer Online Safety PSA Videos Videos are located on the Grade 7 Student Work page Learn the other topics by watching the videos made by your classmates.

You’re Done!
