JOB DESCRIPTION Position: International Sales Manager Salary: £35,000- £45,000 depending on experience + Bonus Head Office: UK with worldwide travel Company Background BIODOME® is a world leading manufacturer of Double Membrane Biogas Storage Solutions with design, detailing and manufacture carried out in the UK. BIODOME® pride themselves on producing a first class quality product and providing customers with the highest possible levels of service. Job Purpose Due to recent company growth they require a knowledgeable International Sales Manager to manage the growth of their export distribution channels. This will include working with and developing existing customers as well as strategic planning to find new distributers/customers for growth into new markets. The role will operate on a number of levels, dealing internationally with the engineers to determine correct product specifications are met in each new territory and externally with all customer engagement activities. There will be an element of travel worldwide as part of the role with the rest of the time being based from home in the UK. Travel to the head office in Lancashire will be required once a week when based in the UK. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have a background in successfully achieving growth within capital equipment sales/ distribution channels in the water/wastewater industry or closely aligned industries to allow for a fast speed to attain competency. The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, with regular travel worldwide to develop business through the various channels. The role will involve building lasting relationships with a wide and diverse customer base, with a particular focus initially on new business development. Languages, particularly core European ones, would be beneficial although not essential. Key Skills and Experience Required Must have a recent and relevant International Sales experience within the water/wastewater capital equipment industry. Must have an engineering/technical understanding of products in the water/wastewater equipment industry. Capable of developing new business quickly from new and existing contacts throughout the world.
