“The IMC has givenour school theability to uti-lize a networkof resourceswe havefound in-valuable in build-ing and growing our school. The resources include advice in mat-ters of enrollment, student selection, curriculum, building design, defini-tion of goals, school image, partner-ships, finances, and marketing. Beingthe Head of School requires knowledgein many different areas. The IMC hasoffered a great deal of support andguidance in many areas in which Ihad no prior knowledge or experience.

The IMC has brought people togetherin a way no other Montessori organi-zation has been able to do. Our staffhas made meaningful relationshipswith other IMC schools. The IMC con-ferences enable people to come to-gether to exchange ideas, experiences, and advice; I always return from con-ferences revitalized and optimisticabout the future of Montessori educa-tion. The camaraderie of the IMC givesme the confidence I need to be an ef-fective leader. We are looking forwardto becoming an IMC accredited schooland, (we hope), an IMC teacher train-ing center.”
