VISION STATEMENT:
To be the model Apostolic/Pentecostal church for the 21st century.
I. LEADERSHIP FOCUS
A. APPOINT SUCCESSION TEAM WHOSE MISSION IS TO: (Membership TBD)
I. Implement an assessment of the leadership of the COOLJC,
including ecclesiastical, Department and Administrative
(Executive) status to determine what our leadership and
staffing needs will be going forward.
a. Identify potential vacancies
b. Present a plan addressing these openings
c. Identify the impact on COOLJC’s growth and
fulfillment of mission, if these are not addressed
d. Suggest timeframe or date of completion
A. INTERIM REVIEW & CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
I. Appraise existing leadership on areas where approaches
to leadership needs and problem solving should be
implemented to address issues we are facing in the
short term and in anticipation of an approved succession
plan.
II. Identify issues, region by region; and in collaboration
with the Chairman of Bishops, and the Chairman of
Presbyters, present them in order of importance to the
joint boards for resolution. (Use committees if
necessary)
II. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
B. DO A SWOT ANALYSIS OF COOLJC 2017 – 2018
I. Representatives from each of the
Ecclesiastical Boards as well as the
Departments will participate to ensure we
come up with a comprehensive perspective of
the organization, and a strategy to fulfill its
mission going forward.
C. ADMINISTRATIVE OBJECTIVE
I. Present a revised constitution and amendment of
the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ at the
International Convocation July 2017 for review
and approval for circulation to the General Body
for one year (2017 –2018) and ratification in the
International Convention, 2018.
D. FINANCIAL:
I. Present an operating budget for the COOLJC Fiscal
Year, 2017-2018, that has been fully reviewed by the
appropriate boards, and approved by the Board of
Apostles for ratification. (This will become the
standard process for budget formation and approval
going forward). All international boards and
auxiliaries will be financially transparent and will
operate with the highest level of integrity.
E. MAJOR INITIATIVES:
I. Each of our major initiatives: Evangelism, Education, Global
Missions, Home Missions, and Social Justice Ministries will be
funded by designated departments throughout the COOLJC
were possible . Funding will be allocated from the general
operating budget of the COOLJC as well. The supporting
assignments are as follows:
a. Evangelism – The Board of Presbyters (IBOP)
b. Education – The Board of Bishops (IBOB)
c. Global Missions, (Home and Foreign), - The International
Missionary Dept., (IMD) and The International Women’s
Dept., (IWD)
d. The Social Justice Economic and Racial Equality
Commission – The International Deacons Board (IDB), and
the International Youth Congress (IYC)

local leaders on the six styles of evangelism from “Becoming a
Contagious Christian”, by Bill Hybels. A wonderful, practical guide to

GLOBAL MISSION Continue educating, training, and developing preachers, missionaries
and lay leaders in all aspects of mission work.
Continue the progression of preaching the gospel in foreign countries,
Continue our tradition of building and expansion projects such as our orphanages, schools, and churches.
Strengthen our International Church growth by continuing to appoint ministers and overseers to carry out the work.
Continue conducting periodic visits to the established International Church Sites.
Provide continuous financial assistance in areas where there is severe economic hardship.
Improve the efforts for obtaining better financial support for the foreign works while lessening the struggle. All other goals are hinged upon the accomplishment of this specific goal; and the achievement of such will be a direct result of a reasonable budget allocated for mission work.

Assisting churches in Building projects Church repair Church Remodeling Church Planting Our Goal is, that by the grace of God, to serve the national
church within the United States with the information and resources that they need to build the Kingdom of God in the communities we are called to serve.
We give a great support by providing access to skilled laborers, such as contractors, architect, brick masons and other skilled professionals.

A. The Board of Evangelism (BOE) and its constituents, will
work in conjunction with the Board of Education to
provide adequate training for clergy, leaders and
members of the COOLJC, so that the outreach efforts of
the COOLJC will be maximized.
B. The Social Justice Economic and Racial Equality
Commission will be engaged in addressing various
expressions of inequality, injustice, and oppression,
throughout the United States and the world wherever we
have membership in COOLJC.
III. OUTREACH:
CENTENNIAL A. The Centennial Commission has thus far created and published:
I. A Strategic Plan
II. A tentative timetable of events and activities leading up to the 2019 Celebration
designation, and
III. Several Centennial related articles in the 2015 and 2016 Contender for the Faith
Organizational Magazine.
B. Centennial Commission vision, goals, procedures and policies pending approval by
Organization.
I. A special DVD recording of the Pentecostal/Apostolic which is so much a part of our
spiritual heritage.
II. 2018 - COOLJC Pre-Centennial Concert (Fundraiser) would be presented and
participated by Holy Convocation delegates, with the primary goals of teaching and
perpetuating the rich COOLJC heritage in music
III. 2018 - Pre-Centennial Recognition Reception
IV. 2018 - Tribute to the many COOLJC members who have serve in the armed forces.
V. 2018 – Board of Apostles’ Special Tribute designed to educate the Organization about
the history and to raise funds for the Centennial Celebration.
VI. The continuing collection of photos, significant records and notations to fully
document the history and uniqueness of the COOLJC’s one-hundred years of history.
