On February 12, 2013, the Canada Mining Innovation Council held its 2nd Annual Signature Event, a mining conference bringing representatives from industry, government, academia, and other sectors together in Toronto to discuss the role of innovation in the industry's future. David Grier, the Executive Director for the International Minerals Innovation Institute, presented an overview of the newest partner on the mining and minerals innovation landscape in Canada.
