International media System : - an overview.

The world today as become a global village, this because the messages, news, information are

very easily made know to the most remote area of the world in just a fraction minutes. This is all

possible due to media. When we talk about media, we mean there all kinds of media. The print

media, visual media and of course the audio media. The computers and internet have brought a

kind of revolution in the world of communication and media. The world today cannot be

separated from the media and its effect on the people. The media in the world has become

international force and motivating a force, an event happening in the other part of the world is

carried out in the some other part of the world with help of international media. It obvious to

know that media is the most influential thing in the world today, may because of this , the media

has become a tool a puppet into the hands of politician and politics in most of the port of theworld. and the politicization continues, perhaps at a faster pace than ever. Where once private

initiative dominated, especially in the area like personal and private enterprise- like newspaper

publishing, these now tide big business to politic .

Let us now talk about the media culture;

Each country has its own media and this have variety in them. Media culture sometimes differs

from the other countrys media. Some media focus more on the national security and they

provide enough information about the national security and related news. Some country media

talk a lot about moral philosophy and once can often read articles about morality in the news or

watch moral programs and so on. Some media focus only on economy of the country and

economic news prevails everywhere. some newspapers of certain countries often show their

power of democracy and criticize the government often, they become another hand for the

political parties in boosting or pulling down some political parties.

The international media is also categorized in the term of free media. As it is believed that the

countries like USA, and some countries of European continent have a total freedom which the

some countries of Middle East and Africa does not have, here the media is more controlled by

the governing authority. anti freedom or controlled media cultures existed long before the

modern spike in international terrorism, Doctorial governments and strongman leaders have

harnessed media system to their own ends since such systems came into existence

Politics and economics are other important things that exists in various media cultures. And in

the world of today the journalists must take a various cultures into consideration. Here it also

becomes important to discus about the press and democracy. Today in the world the press is

considered to fuel the democracy . the press has become a voice for the most common man and

raising his voice to the utter most loudly that it gains support of the millions of people around the

world. The press and democracy have become synonyms , even though we need to accept that

media gets more money in talking about politics and business but still the press plays an

important role in the democracy.

Sometimes the modern media have become the victim of propagandas. They believe that only

truth is not sold every time and thus the tool of propaganda is used. Here the media plays a

negative role. By using propaganda media is taking the people away from the reality and is

misleading them into the unreal facts. Media , in this cases becomes accountable for all that

happens. The international media has a system to be followed as guided by UNESCO, which

deals with the social responsibility. In a way if media ahs some responsible towards society and

of course it is a also accountable for all those things which are the outcome and results of

international media.

The world today needs quality journalism, this quality journalism keeps in mind only to convey

fact without influencing people. It also deals with social welfare and thus humanity is considered

to be a the centre of t his quality journalism.
