A focus on an internationally
relevant legal matterProposed by the members
Implemented by the entire ELSA Network.

The aim of the IFP• a specific theme for the whole ELSA Network over a fixed term
• creating a forum where the topic can be discussed in various activities
• consolidating ELSA’s work
• producing concrete results of a high standard
• to give the law students in Europe a voice and to gather their diverse opinions and ideas

Where in regulations do we have IFP?
• General part of the Decision Book
• IFP and SG
ELSA shall increase the awareness of the International Focus Programme among members and externals, as well as the general implementation of it - ELSA shall strive to get a larger number of STEP Traineeships within the IFP area - ELSA shall develop a strategy to maintain and improve partnerships of former IFP topics, even after the introduction of the new IFP topic

NEW TOPIC:Media Law can be defined as an area of law
that regulates activities in all sorts and sizes of media communications
FOCUS: the role of the media in democratic systems and legal standards for the protection of freedom of expression, right to access information and privacy

• Telecommunications and Digital Communications (including radio and television broadcasting)
