GCCKuwait is a member of The Gulf Cooperation Council [GCC] which was established
in an agreement concluded on 25 May 1981 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between: Bahrain,
Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
The host country for the Gulf Defense & Aerospace exhibition is The State of Kuwait
which is a sovereign Arab emirate situated in the northeast of the Arabian Peninsula.
It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south and Iraq to the north and lies on the
northwestern shore of the Gulf.
About Kuwait
EconomyKuwait has an open economy with proven crude oil reserves of about 96 billion barrels,
i.e. about 10% of world reserves. Petroleum accounts for nearly half of GDP, 90% of
export revenues, and 95% of government income.
The six member states of the GCC, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and
UAE have signed a defense pact to consider an attack on one as an attack on all.
A joint Rapid Reaction Force (“Peninsular Shield”) has been established and currently
has 5,000 troops. Plans of increasing this amount to 20,000 have been discussed.

The Kuwait International Fair is located in the Mishref neighborhood of Kuwait City and is comprised of modern exhibition facilities with six fully air-conditioned halls covering over 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, VIP Lounges and parking for more than 4,000 cars. It is located within a 15 minute drive from Kuwait International Airport and easily accessible by road from anywhere in Kuwait City.
TNT Productions, LLC is the proud member of the two major trade associations serving the exhibition industry: The International Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).
