About the Congress
The International Congress of Physical Education, Sports and Kinetotherapy
(ICPESK) is a multidisciplinary scientific event which aims to provide empirical research,
reviews and debates relating to sports science, physical education and kinetotherapy.
ICPESK intends to bring together researchers, academics, teachers, graduate and
undergraduate students to share and approach both theoretical and practical knowledge
about sports science, physical education, kinetotherapy and other related topics within a
scientific environment.
ICPESK 2016 will be held in Bucharest, Romania, from 15 to 18 June, and will be
hosted by the National University of Physical Education and Sports. All papers submitted
will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, content, appropriateness and
relevance for the congress.
The 6th edition of the congress, ICPESK 2016, has the following sections: History,
Philosophy, Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology, Sports and Performance, Physical
Education and Teacher Training, Healthcare and Kinetotherapy, Management and
Marketing in Physical Education, Sports and Kinetotherapy, Varia.
The congress papers, editions 2013 and 2014, were indexed in the largest scientific
database, ISI Web of Knowledge. In 2013, they were published in Procedia Social and
Behavioral Sciences (Elsevier), and in 2014, in Medimond International Proceedings.
The papers of the last edition, in 2015, were published in European Proceedings of
Social and Behavioral Sciences (EpSBS), and currently they are submitted for indexation
in ISI Web of Knowledge.
