Propercorn International Commercial Executive Job spec/role and objectives
Objective: To deliver the International strategy by providing first class support to our network of distributors and partners overseas. This would be an ideal role for a graduate with 1-2 years’ work experience in a relevant industry. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES STRATEGY/NUMBERS
• Support the delivery of PROPERCORN’s 1 year plan and 3 year strategy ensuring revenue and profit targets are hit/exceeded.
• Support the identification and scoping of new countries for PROPERCORN to seek out scalable and strategically important revenue streams deliverable within budget and resource.
• Manage the launch of NPD. • Maintain up-to-date reports for use during the weekly and monthly internal and external
international team meetings. • Responsible for the tracking and allocation of our trade investment budget to ensure
PROPERCORN is operating within budget and communicate our performance to the team. • Input into the marketing and shopper plans and budget for international markets. • Lead the plan and implementation of international trade shows incl. attendance and set up.
PROCESS • Manage the weekly and monthly international team meeting documents, ensuring we are
reporting the latest information against our key objectives in a timely fashion. • Manage and continually improve our catalogue of category insights from each market. Ensure
our distributors are making the most of all category resources available to them. • Manage monthly orders and forecasts working closely with ops to ensure production runs
smoothly. • Contribute to the wider commercial and team culture as well as helping on-board new team
members.
RELATIONSHIPS • Opportunities to travel and attend meetings with distributors. • Opportunities to manage and direct PROPERCORN’s distributor relationships. • Manage field sales incentives across all markets to ensure we continue to grow volume and
reward strong performance. • Constantly challenge and track our distributor progress to ensure they are on top of their
game. • Prepare insight for the monthly/quarterly distributor meetings (frequency as needed). • Build and develop a network in non-competing companies so we can continue to learn and
