It is with great enthusiasm that I invite all pediatricians, urologists, nurses, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals with an interest in children’s bladder and bowel problems to attend the upcoming meeting in Kyoto June 30 to July 2 2016.

This is the first time that the ICCS – the only global association focused on the pediatric urinary tract – locates its international conference in the Land of the Rising Sun. The collaboration with professor Kawauchi, our Regional Representative for Japan, and his team has been smooth and efficient and we are confident that the event will be a high point both scientifically, socially and culturally for everyone attending. Top research will be presented by the foremost scientists, state-of-the-art lectures will be given by the Nestors in the field, useful teaching opportunities will be provided for the clinicians and, of course, Kyoto, Japan’s glorious ancient capital is one of the wonders of the world. Invitation to attend

It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the joint meeting consisting of International Children's Continence Society (ICCS), Japanese Society of Pediatric Urology (JSPU) and Japanese Society on Enuresis (JSE), to be held at the Hotel Granvia Kyoto in Kyoto, 30 June- 2 July 2016.

It is the first time for us to hold the ICCS annual meeting in Japan. As such, it is also the first time that our three organizations have come together for the annual meetings.Therefore, the scientific program is being designed to provide an exciting range of joint interactive plenary sessions and workshops, offering state-of-the-art scientific evidence in regard to enuresis, urological problems and bladder and bowel dysfunction specific to children. We believe that all delegates will enjoy the rare opportunity to hear international keynote speakers. It is also our privilege to invite Professor Hitoshi Okamura, Kyoto University as a guest lecturer.He is well known the researcher in the field of the molecular mechanisms of mammalian circadian clock.We believe his special lecture tentatively entitled ‘Circadian rhythms and vasopressin’ will enthuse and inspire you.In addition to a diverse scientific program, delegates will have frequent opportunities to connect with colleagues in relaxed social settings including the conference gala dinner.

The venue, Hotel Granvia Kyoto, is located at an integral part of the JR Kyoto Station Building Complex, the visually striking architectural masterpiece.
