About the Russian Gastronomy Weeks project

The concept of the Russian Gastronomy Weeks project is the result of cooperation between the ICWAG and the UNWTO. It aims at solving the following tasks: • the mutual increase of tourist flows; • the development of export-import of food and beverage of the countries-

participants; • the attraction of investments for implementation of projects in the industry of

service and tourism; • the establishment of humanitarian contacts; • the elaboration of public diplomacy.

МЭЦ и ЮНВТО. Целями реализации проекта являются:

укрепление культурных и деловых связей между

странами;

популяризация стран-участниц как

привлекательных туристских дестинаций;

развитие и расширение туристских потоков между

странами-участницами;

демонстрация региональных туристских

возможностей, национальной кухни, продуктов

питания и напитков международной публике;

привлечение внимания к инвестиционным проектам

в индустрии гостеприимства стран-участниц;

рост торгового оборота продуктов питания и

напитков стран-участниц.

Russian Gastronomy Weeks are supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism), Rossotrudnichestvo, the Civic Chamber of

the Russian Federation, the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia, the

Russian National Culinary Association and other Russian state structures and public associations
