This IRCA certified Internal Quality Management System Auditor Training course provides quality professionals with the knowledge

required to assess the conformance and performance of an organisations quality management system.

The knowledge and skills acquired will ultimately help the participants to contribute to the continuous improvement of their

organisations business. It will also enable participants to understand, develop and implement an in-house quality audit programme

that fulfils the requirements for internal audit.

You will receive a widely known and internationally accepted IRCA certificate on successful course completion. This training course

satisfies part of the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA Internal QMS auditor.

Understand the purpose and structure of a process-based QMS, including the framework and structure of ISO

9001:2008

Understand the responsibilities of an internal auditor

Understand the role of internal audit in maintenance and improvement of the management system

Learn how to plan an audit

Learn how to analyse and report an audit

Introduction to QMS

Concepts of P-D-C-A and process-based QMS for ISO 9001:2008

Introduction to auditing with reference to ISO 19011 and ISO 9001:2008

Role of internal audits and auditor responsibilities

Pre-audit activities

Interactive class activities, case studies, role plays and practical exercises are used to enhance the learning process.

Selected or appointed internal auditors, managers and staff who are responsible for establishing and auditing an

organisations QMS processes as part of the internal audit programme.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending the course, the participants are expected to have the following:

Management systems

Understanding of the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle.

Quality Management

Basic knowledge of the concepts of quality management and the relationship between quality management and

customer satisfaction.

Commonly used quality management terms and definitions as given in ISO 9000.
