UHS, and have coached with Maryland Twisters Allstars for the last 5 years.

Tryout Clinics and Tryouts ** Must attend all days** Tryout Clinics: August 12th and August 13th 2020 Time: 9am to 12:30pm; Where: UHS Auxillary Gym

Tryout Day: Friday, August 14, 2020; Time: 9am- 12 noon (each student athlete will be assigned a group and a time frame, they will come in, in half hour increments to try out with their assigned group.)

**ALL Student Athletes must be registered online prior to August 12th. No student athlete will be permitted to tryout without being registered and having a physical copy of their physical dated after April 1, 2020.

JV Competition Requirements:● Standing Back Handspring

(preferred jumps to BHS)● Round-off Back Handspring or higher● Able to stunt extended one leg stunts, twisting baskets● Flyers: Heel stretches on both legs, (straight leg Scale, Scorpion, Bow,

Arabesque)

Varsity Competition Requirements:● Standing Back Handspring Tuck; Standing Tuck (preferred jump to

tuck)● Round-off Back Handspring layout or higher● Able to stunt: release move to extended one leg stunts, 2 trick

twisting baskets, full twisting transitions and dismounts● Flyers: Heel stretches on both legs, (straight leg Scale, Scorpion,

Bow, Arabesque)
