LOCATIONEleanor Rosa House is a brand new Intercollegiate Hall of Residence built in partnership between UPP and the University of London.

Located in an up-and-coming area of Stratford, east London it is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the London Underground Stratford station – a transport hub with frequent connections to central London and Stansted Airport.

The site was home to the iconic 2012 London Summer Olympics. Now, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park boasts great facilities for those who want to stay in shape – velodrome, hockey and tennis centre, a state of the art swimming pool and extensive cycling network; but also for those who want to relax and have fun, with numerous cafés and the world’s highest tunnel slide - ArcelorMittal Orbit.

It is also a great place for shopping with Westfield Stratford, one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe located just a 10 minutes’ walk from Eleanor Rosa House.

THE HALLA bit of history about the name, Rosa Morison was the Lady Superintendent of women students at UCL and Vice Principal of the University of London’s College Hall, and Eleanor Grove was the First Principal of College Hall. The two women were prolific philanthropists and advocates for women studying at the University and at UCL, and jointly founded the Grove Morison Memorial Fund.
