PASSING WINDOWS: In a 20Wx30L divide the team in 1/2 with 1 group on the outside of the square with soccer balls and the other 1/2 inside without soccer balls. • Round 1 - Outside players pass to an inside player who passes back to same outside player (switch roles after 1.5 minutes) • Round 2 - Outside players pass to an inside player who dribbles and passes to another outside player (switch roles after 1.5 minutes) • Round 3 - Outside player plays the ball to an inside player and performs a give and go • Round 4 - Players perform a take over

2v2 TO FOUR GOALS: In a 20Wx30L grid, teams can score in either of their attacking goals. The player with the ball has the choice to score by dribbling or passing the ball through the goal.

GOALKEEPER (GK)& FIELD PLAYER WARM UP: In a 20Wx30L grid, half the players with a ball, half without (including your GK.) • Round 1: Everyone, including GK's are passing and moving to anyone. If no one is immediately available, dribble to find a pass. • Round 2: GK's will call out a player's name and the ball must be played on the ground and to the GK for a "scooping" save. After the scoop, the GK will roll the ball to a new player without a ball. • Round 3: On GK's command, the players will strike a ball waist high to the GK who will then roll the ball out to a new player without a ball. GK's will execute a basket catch • Round 4: Follows the same format but now balls are played in above the waist. GK's will execute a diamond catch
• Technique of Collecting the ball: Get your body in line with the ball, Hands in a diamond shape curving hands to the shape of the ball (when the ball is waist height and above), pinky's together and scoop the ball into the body when the ball is waist height and below, Use footwork to get body behind every shot. • Tactical: When to use the different types of handling?

3v3 TO GOALS (GK's+2v2 Reloading): In a 20Wx30L grid broken into three zones. The Coach will serve the ball to a team, play until either the GK collects the ball or one team scores. Scoring: • Coaches will determine the values of the goals. • Gk works to use the proper technique and foot work to deal with all types of shots on goal.
• Technique of Handling, Technique of a ready position: when the shooter takes a preparation touch and pulls their leg back for a shot. Knees bent, shoulder width apart, hands relaxed and weight on the balls of the Gk's feet • Tactical: When to use the different types of handling. GK's should be on their "ball line" which is if a line is drawn from the center of the ball to the center of the goal, G'ks should be straddling on that line.

FREE DRIBBLE: In a 30Wx40L yard grid have all players with a soccer ball each dribbling. Coach is calling out or showing moves for the players to perform. Attacking moves: scissors (circle/take,) Matthews (inside/outside,) fake and take, Turning moves: inside cut, outside hook, pull back, Cruyff (inside cut behind standing leg) Variation: Players must split as many players as they can by dribbling between gaps in 1 minute
• Technique - Dribbling: Keep ball close, Use the laces to go forward, Use the inside/outside of the foot and the sole to change direction, Keep your head up, change direction and speed

1v1 TO CORNER GOALS: In a 15Wx20L yard grid place 4 goals diagonally in the corners. 3-4 players set up in opposite end lines, one end line with soccer balls. 1st dribbler comes out and attacks either of the two goals on the opposite end-line, playing against 1 defender. Once a goal is scored or ball played out, players switch lines and next 2 players are up. • Variation: Progress to 2v1 and 2v2

COLOR DRIBBLING AND PASSING: In a 25Wx30L yard grid, Groups of 3 players each group with a soccer ball. Passing and moving together. The ball or players can not stop moving. Variation: Take 5 touches and then pass to teammate. Variation 2: Add another soccer ball. Variation 3: After taking 5 touches, pass to a different color team.

After any combination to enter the scoring zone .

GOLF: Players will begin in pairs with one ball between two players. Each player will have a cone in front of them which will act as a Golf flag. Players will alternate playing the ball through the air to their teammate. The player receiving the ball tries to control the ball out of the air and knock over the 'golf pin'/cone in one touch. Any player who knocks the 'pin' over gets a point for their team. Variation: Players compete against their partner to see who can have the ball bounce the closest to the pin. Bonus points are awarded for a direct hit!
Technique for Passing in the Air: • Contact with Instep or outside of foot, aiming at bottom half of the ball. • Ankle locked, knee bent. • Non kicking foot next to ball aiming at target. Watch the ball off of foot and follow through towards target by landing on kicking foot. Technique for Receiving from the Air: • Make eye contact with the passer, Body in line with ball and select surface to receive with early. • Open body to receive the ball and watch the ball onto foot/thigh/chest.

3v3 TO END LINES In a 20Wx30L grid, play a 3v3 game with each team attacking their opponents end line. If the ball leaves play, players can dribble or pass the ball back in. To score a goal, the ball must be played over the end line, in the air and to a teammate. The teammate must be able to stop the ball within two touches. Defending players cannot defend over the end line.

CROSSING COMPETITION: In a 45Wx30L yard area outside the penalty area two groups alternate serving the ball to a flank player who dribbles down the flank and serves/crosses the ball into 3 teammates making runs into the box. Service should vary from aerial to a low, driven across. Switch sides of the service. Variation: Add a defending chaser to put pressure on the flank server.
• Technique of serving the ball from a wide position in the run of play. • Technique of finishing, based on the types of service from the flank. (Body in line with ball, open to allow redirection of ball towards net)

3v3 + 2 TO GOAL: In a 45Wx30L yard field, with a 7 yard wide channel down each sideline with 2 flank players per team, play 3v3 to goal. If a goal is scored after the ball has been played wide using a channel player then served back in front of the attacking goal, it is worth 50 points. All other goals are worth 1 point. First team to 101 points wins.

If a goal is scored after the ball has been played from a wide area then served back in front of the attacking goal, it is worth 10 points. • Any goal scored from an aerial ball is worth 50 • Any goal scored from a wide serve (either through the air or on the ground) and finished with one touch is worth 100.

1v1 KNOCK THE BALL OFF THE CONE: Within a 10Wx15L grid, set up one cone in the middle of the end line with a ball on top. Red serves the ball to white and the game is on. White will try to knock red's ball off the cone. If the red player steals the ball, they try to score by knocking the white player's ball off the cone. Once a goal is scored or the ball is played off the field, the game is over and the next ball is served.

STRIKING THE BALL ON GOAL: All players have a soccer ball and play in the area in front of the goal. The players start with the ball on the goal line. They all approach their ball at the same time and strike it into the net. All players now collect their ball and place it on the 6 yard line, back up, then approach their ball and strike it on goal again. 1 shot from the goal line and 1 shot from the 6 yard line = 1 round. Players should get at least 3 shots per minute.
• Technique of striking the ball with your toe pointed down pointed slightly away. Non-kicking foot placed along side of the ball with the knee and toe pointed toward their target/partner. • Technique of dribbling to prepare the ball to shoot.

4v3 TO GOAL + COUNTERS: In a 30Wx40L yard grid with a big goal at one end, 2 counter goals at the other and a midfield line, play a 4v3 game. The team of 4 (#7, 9, 10 & 11) attack the big goal and the team of 3 (#1, 4 & 5) attack the 2 counter goals. Challenge the team of 4 to score 1 goal before the team of 3 can score 3 goals. Game is over after either team scores their needed number of goals or 2 minutes. After each game, rotate the defenders and attackers. (multiple fields will be needed and/or teams on deck)
• Technique of shooting which will include the preparation touch to shoot. • Tactics: Penetrate the defense by shooting. Mobility of players to get into better shooting positions and support around the ball to help create shooting chances.

6v5 TO GOAL: In a 40Wx60L yard grid with a big goal at one end, 2 counter goals at the other and a midfield line, play a 6v5 game. The team of 6 (#1, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11) play against the team of 5 (#1, 4, 5, 6 & 8.) Both teams attack big goals. (multiple fields will be needed and/or teams on deck)
• Technique of shooting: Body shape, striking the ball with the laces, outside of the foot, inside of the foot and when laces are a good choice. • Tactics: Penetration, Support, Width, Mobility and Improvisation

In a 30Wx40L yard grid each player with a soccer ball and they perform 20 consecutive touches on the ball; first with one foot then the other:
Outside-inside right foot then outside-inside left foot,
Touch inside right foot-touch inside left foot-roll with bottom of right toward left foot (repeat starting with the left foot,)
Right foot touch with laces twice then draw a circle around the ball with right big toe (repeat the same with the left foot)
Bottom of right foot pull ball back, touch with the inside of right foot so the ball travels behind the left leg, take away with the outside of the left (repeat starting with left foot)
Each round, introduce a new pattern then combine with all the previous patterns
